I made a reservation at Rovezzi’s for one of their busiest nights of the year — Valentine’s Day. Ultimately, even later at night(our reservation wasn’t until 8:30PM), the restaurant was lively and bustling, although not overwhelmed or extremely busy. I expect most people went earlier in the evening or in the afternoon. Regardless, thanks to our reservation, we were seated immediately and poured glasses of ice water. Our waitress was very pleasant and informative about the options available, including a few specials. One of the appetizer specials was a pasta appetizer: a fresh ravioli-type pasta with duck and I believe ricotta, topped with a special brown butter sauce. The duck was tender and tasteful and meshed well with the fresh pasta and sauce. My boyfriend had a salad with arugula, pecans, butternut squash, and a maple dressing. The flavors were all very delicious together. I got a drink, a «Love Potion» martini. Very sweet, tasted like kool-aid. Definitely can get behind a drink like that. We each order something different for our main courses — I had a parpadelle bolognese and my boyfriend had a dish that utilized rabbit. The bolognese arrived with a topping of fresh ricotta, which was a very nice touch. The pasta dish with rabbit was extremely tasty, the rabbit was nice and tender and the flavor of the meat shined. Finally, we ordered desserts — he had the ‘peanut butter thing,’ and I had a crème brûlée. If you like peanut butter, the peanut butter thing does not disappoint. The crème brûlée was lovely, the bruleed sugar on top was perfect and had a slight coffee flavor to it, and the custard underneath was creamy and full of vanilla flavor. This was my second visit to Rovezzi’s, and my boyfriend’s first. Again, I want to mention how wonderful our waitress was — unfortunately, I do not remember her name, but she was absolutely fabulous.

The last few times I have been to Rovezzi’s, it has been terrific. I highly recommend the risotto ball appetizer as well as the brussel sprout Caesar salad. All the parmigianas are terrific as is the bolognese.

So I’ll start my review by saying my dining experience here was wonderful and my only complaint was the parking. I had to park up the road a little bit and the walk was a killer for my girlfriend who was in a dress. We showed up for our reservation on a busy Saturday night about 10 minutes early. We were seated no problem and headed up stairs. It was a nice environment and it was mostly pretty quite. Our waiter who’s name slips my mind(which drives me insane because he needs some recognition). Greeted us and explained the menu to us. Have us our time to decide. After we ordered our appetizer he brought us bread olive oil and cheese which was excellent. At that point I knew if the bread was that good everything else was going to be great. We ordered their calamari to start. Which is always one of our favorites and we loved it. We got our entrees and those were excellent. We even got desert. «The Peanut Butter Thing» it was pretty damn good. Over all the food, and atmosphere was great. It was a great experience and we would certainly go back!

My wife and I went here for our 3rd wedding anniversary dinner last night. Let me tell you the food was fantastic. When we got there we were informed by our server that on Tuesday nights you can choose ANY starter or salad and ANY entrée from the entire menu * and pay only $ 22.00! What a great deal! So we decided to start off with Arancini– Crispy pesto-mozzarella risotto balls for an appetizer. Then we had there Brussel Sprout Caesar salad. Let me tell you this salad was unbelievable. My wife had the Gnocchi and I had the Bolognese. i can tell you coming from an Italian family this place one of the best I have had. Cant wait to try it again.

Went here on a Saturday night and upon arriving I couldn’t find a parking spot, which is usually a good sign. Had to circle a few times but ultimately found a spot. Once we got inside, the place was crowded with people having a drink at the bar and waiting for their table. We arrived 10 minutes or so before our reservation and only waited a few minutes. The restaurant had that rustic charm about it. We were seated upstairs where I must admit was very loud. Once a few tables trickled out, we would have a normal conversation. We ordered the Cavatelli with meatballs and Bolognese. You could tell the pasta was homemade and the sauces were fresh. I expected a little explosiveness of flavor that just wasnt there. The homemade meatballs were juicy and not overcooked. The portion size was good, I didnt feel overly full and felt satisfied. Our waitress was very nice and checked up on us. Overall, it was a great local charming place.

Delicious. It always is! The appetizers are probably my favorite. Great selection of Italian cuisine. Burrata is fresh and there is a good selection from the wine list. Staff is friendly and kind.

We came here for our 3rd anniversary and had such a great experience! I had put in our reservation that it was our anniversary and they went over the top to celebrate with us– we got a hand signed card, everyone popped by to wish us a happy anniversary and we got a great table by the window. The food was awesome! The wine list was extensive, the food was great– we got the arancinis and brussel sprout salad, homemade pastas and the bread pudding for dessert). It was a really good meal with great service. We went at 5pm on a Thursday(baby+grandparents babysitting = early bird dinner!) and it was packed by the time we left.

The building has some nice colonial charm. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. But my main gripe is that all the portions were quite small and overpriced! I also felt there was too much garlic used everywhere. And there were not many choices on the menu. It was small. I hate feeling ripped off, but I couldn’t help feeling that way a little bit after dinning here.
