What can I say other than Wow! My fiancé and I did not expect to have a more beautiful set of wedding invites. We heard of Woo Paperie through a close contact and thought to give them a try. We were undecided for a while; more so bipolar on what we were looking for. We had an idea in mind and Woo Paperie ultimately executed our idea better than we imagined. Although experts and very aggressively priced on letterpress style invites my fiancé and I decided on a foil pressed invite because we were looking for something different. Not only did Jennifer help design a gorgeous invite, she followed through with an amazing enclosure card and reply card. The paper she used was stunning, thick and of good texture. We chose the color but didn’t expect such a good thickness. Further, the envelopes she provided were gorgeous off white linen and the insert went all the way to the bottom(not halfway like those other places who try to nickel and dime you). Their work was so precise and completed with care and we were simply so amazed and super appreciative. Jennifer also surprised us at the end and made a few changes that should have cost us more money. Fair is an understatement. Overall, We were definitely impressed and I’m very hard to impress. Jennifer was really patient with us. Also, when they complete the order they wrap it up in cute bow ties and give them to you like gifts. We didn’t want to touch them and leave them be as they were so pretty. Jennifer and her team surpassed our expectations and went above and beyond what we asked for. Thank you Woo Paperie, we are clients for life and hope to be able to refer you all of our friends and family!!! B

Visited Woo Paperie today and was deftly assisted by Sara who helped me replenish my supply of stationery for thank you letters, love notes, mysterious missives, rambling poems, urgent requests for shared adventures, and reminders to temporal powers. The Paperie has an ample selection of various cards and letters for various occasions, and a good selection of coloured envelopes and card stock to choose from. Numerous tempting knick-knacks related variously to writing are also on display. The reputation of Woo Paperie was apparent, as a couple were there already and making their wedding invitation order. To give them time to finish — I went to get a taco at the nearby Cactus Taqueria on the corner, and was able to come back to sort out my stationery needs without any difficulties.

It has been such a pleasure to work with Jennifer and Rachel at Woo Paperie and Press!!! I went in to the storefront with the design that my son had his heart set on for his Bar-Mitzvah invitation & Jennifer was glad to help. The final invitation and response cards came out wonderful and very original looking. They paid attention to the details(envelopes, etc.). I had thought a linen finish would work best. When they saw that it actually printed nicer and brighter on a different card stock, they let me know right away. During the busy time of planning the event, it was reassuring to know that Woo Paperie and Press had my back. The back and forth communication was awesome. My son loved his invites so much that he wanted the Thank you notes printed by them with the same design. Of course, they look FANTASTIC, as well!!! Thank you to Jennifer and Rachel!!! …now to get those thank-you notes written

After discovering that correspondence card engraving was apparently a dying service in the world of digital printing — and with a deadline approaching fast — I crossed my fingers and looked to Unilocal for options. As I was local to Studio City at the time and Woo Paperie & Press was close by, I gave them a quick call and headed right over. Well, excellent choice, if I do say so myself! Courteous, personable, efficient and knowledgeable, Jennifer and Rachel went above and beyond to ensure my job was completed quickly and to my — and my boss’ — complete satisfaction. Their suggestion of the lower cost letter press option(as opposed to engraving) guaranteed a timely finish — with an absolutely beautiful result. And, finally, the more than reasonable cost was better than I could have imagined. Use them!!! You’ll be glad you did!

I ordered my wedding invitations from Woo and I can’t say enough good things about this store. The staff is fantastic. Each person I spoke to was patient, easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, and best of all not pushy. The price was also 1⁄3 of the price I had been quoted by 3 other specialty stationery/letterpress printing stores. I ordered invitations on thick card stock with a graphic print on the front. They look fantastic and the photo print is grade A quality. I didn’t give up anything in quality while saving money. Don’t need to go anywhere else. This is the place for all your printing and stationery needs.

The couple that owns Woo Paperie may be angels. First, I was leaving my wedding invitations to the last minute and I was asking for something totally unreasonable — top quality letterpress invitations, turned around in a few days, and at a decent price. Did I mention that I had a card design that needed to be tweaked as well? I almost didn’t call for fear of being laughed off the phone. I am so glad that I did, though! Jennifer(who is sweet, calm, and intuitively artistic) promised me that she could(1) turn around the invites in less than a week,(2) print/press on double-thick cotton paper,(3) rework the invite design(single-sided 5×7 card),(4) create the design for the rsvp cards(which were like postcards, with our silhouettes on one side, and the rsvp/address on the other), and(5) print the mailing addresses on the envelopes for free. She quoted me $ 500 for 75 cards and envelopes, easily a steal. When it came to pick them up, she crazy over-delivered. I called her a few minutes before closing and told her that I was stuck in traffic at least 30 minutes away, and that I would come the next day. It was 100% my fault that I was late, but she was the one who felt worse! She empathized with the anxious bride in me. Then she worked some magic. She got the owner of the shoe store located just below her store to hold the invites for pick up and took the balance due over the phone. The invites were beyond beautiful — just absolutely gorgeous. Everyone who’s gotten one, felt their weight, seen the craftsmanship that goes into each piece(they were hand cut so that the design bled over the edge!) has remarked on how lovely they are. Some don’t want to return the rsvp postcards because they want to keep them as a keepsake. I think it comes down to people responding to and appreciating beauty, pure and simple. The kicker is that they ended up charging me $ 480 in total, $ 20 less than their estimate! So the only thing they«underdelivered» on was the cost! I will definitely be using Woo Paperie again, and plan on letting all of my friends know about their amazing services. Thank you for existing!!!
