Sharon Wollaston Ear Piercing

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Wollaston and the experience we had piercing our 14 month old’s ears. She is just so genuine, lovely, cheerful, and patient. When in her company, you sometimes forget she is a doctor and feel as if it is just a friend piercing your/​your child’s ears! (Anyone who takes the time to have Cookie Monster gels applied to their nails has got to love children!) Taking appointments in the comfort of her home made all of the difference. No figuring out parking, schlepping and waiting rooms. My husband was out of town so I had to bring my 4 year old son with us and Dr. Wollaston was just as hospitable to him as she was to us, kindly setting him up in a playroom with toys and was even so generous as to allow him to bring home a small toy car. When it came time for the procedure she wasn’t rushed, explained everything, and was very sterile. Both personally and professionally I find her amazing and am so happy to have found her, as you will be too :)

Great experience getting my daughter’s ear pierced today. The whole process was painless for both my 6 month old and me. DD didn’t cry while Dr. Wollaston pierced her right ear and only cried about 2 seconds when her left ear was being pierced. (DD doesn’t like being held down that’s why she cried). I would most definitely recommend anyone with a child to get their ears pierced here.

Sharon is awesome! She pierced my eldest at 8 months and I will be going to her for my youngest. She knows what she is doing! Very informative, gentle, and caring.
My eldest is now 22 months and we haven’t had any complications with her piercings.

When my 9 year old daughter announced she was ready to get her ears pierced, I did my research and chose to work with Sharon. Sharon is a pediatrician who has been piercing ears in her office for 15 years. She was calm, knowledgeable, patient and caring. She explained everything and really put my daughter at ease. The topical cream worked and there was no pain according to my daughter. A week later and no problems at all. We chose to drive from Santa Monica and are very happy we did!

Decided to pierce my 6 month old daughter’s ears. Before anyone comments that she was too young, I researched and decided to go to Dr. Sharon Wollaston because she uses the Blomdahl Medical Ear Piercing System. I cannot recommend her more highly! My daughter did not cry after the first pierce. She winced and cried for 3 seconds after the second piercing. After that, she smiled. It’s been a few weeks and her ears are not red or irritated. I couldn’t be happier.

Following surgery, I discovered that my ear piercings had become misaligned, necessitating repiercing. I read the glowing reviews on Sharon and immediately called for an appointment. It was an EXCELLENT experience! Sharon had all her tools ready, explained everything clearly, had a great selection of earrings, and the deed was done in less than ten minutes with virtually NO discomfort. When I decide to get more piercings, I’ll definitely go back to her, and I’d recommend her to anyone considering a piercing.

My daughter got her ear pierced by Sharon when she was just 3 months old. Sharon did a wonderful job and was very gently with my daughter. All her tools were very sterile and she explained the whole process to me. I would highly recommend Sharon if you are thinking of getting your ears pierced!

We looked for months to find a reputable place to get my 17 month old ears pierced. I didn’t want to go to Claire’s or the likes. I came across Sharon and she was wonderful! We followed the directions to put on the litacane before our visit and I can tell you my daughter felt nothing! She happily watched the iPad and had a snack. It was awesome. Highly recommended.

So I waited to write this review for a few weeks. My daughter had her ears pierced by Sharon a few days before her first birthday. I did extensive research online prior because I was concerned about going to the mall and the uncleanliness. She did an amazing job. She made sure to help make my daughter feel comfortable. She sent me numbing cream for her ears prior to the piercing to minimize the pain. My daughter did not cry. She was more surprised than anything. The earrings look great. The whole process was hygienic, sterile and turned out great. A great first selection of piercing earrings. I would definitely recommend her again.

My daughter had her ears pierced by Dr. Wollaston and DID NOT FEEL ANY PAIN. She felt only some mild pressure during the piercing. The results are beautiful too! Dr. Wollaston explained the aftercare thoroughly and answered all our questions. She was kind and cheerful and made us both feel at ease. I would strongly recommend her service to anyone seeking ear piercing, especially parents seeking it for their kids. She is a pediatrician too!

Perfect and professional!
Really wanted someone knowledgeable and that is exactly what I got with Sharon. I had one ear that had closed up and she discussed my options, suggested a different placement to enhance the earrings etc. minimal pain. and I got really nice earrings to go with the package. Best of all… she has titanium— which is exactly what I needed as I am allergic to most other metals. Would definitely recommend!\

I had been looking for somewhere to get my ears repierced for awhile when I saw Sharon listed in a search online.
She was listed as a Dr. and I learned from meeting with her, that in Pediatric Dr. offices, one of the doctors there usually get certified to pierce ears.
So I made an appointment. (BTW– no @ the Drs. office)
I couldn’t be more pleased with the result.
It was 6 weeks ago, so now I can wear any earrings!
She repierced my ears exactly in the old spots. She’s so knowledgeable about
allergic reactions to metals– and how to avoid problems.
It was exactly what I’d hoped for in how professional, prepared and knowledgeable she was.
It was very fast, but she explained everything and I was back out the door quickly.
She makes an appointment with you, and that’s all that is scheduled at that time,
so there is no waiting for someone else.
If you’re getting your ears pierced for the first time, or repierced, like me;
this is a great place to have that done with confidence.
