Years ago, I purchased a couple of what Countessa called "Pucker Dresses" from her. I absolutely fell in love with them instantly! I loaned one to a girlfriend and she just wouldn't return it to me. To be fair, it did look much better on her than it did on me, but, still, I really loved that dress. I want so much to purchase it again and I hope that you read this Countessa because you're the only one who understands what I am talking about! Love you and your kindness, willingness, and compassion for the trans community!

It has been awhile since I have been to visit Countessa but I thought it would be worthwhile to give some words about her and her business. First she is a very classy lady who is a fashion designer, who has also taken up the challenge of helping the transgender community. Now this is way cool since very few(read just about none in the LA area) clothing stores do this(Lydia’s has now long been gone!). Countessa takes personal interest in serving each and every customer of hers with attention and warmth needed for those nervous persons venturing out to go shopping for their femme clothes. She has(at least in the past) a nice range of sizes including larger plus sizes as well. She has shoes, jewelry and accessories as well so a girl can get fully set up in her shop including a make salon. How cool is that? She might come across a little pushy in terms of selling but this is a business and to survive in the world, one must sell things in order to be sustainable. She has been in this locations for many years! That is a great sign. The first time I met her she gave me a free makeover and encouraged me to go out with her right then and there. Wow, I was still a little too scared but that was then and this is now. I recall prices were reasonable, not too expensive yet not cheap either. Again, she provides a needed service to the community so its all good. I recall buying clothes and make up from her. Anyway catering to the LGBT community wins in my book!
