Have ate at Sonny’s for many year’s and after a long absence due to local restaurant closing, drove to Stuart location on 11−16−154:00PM. This is NOT the Sonny’s I loved. The sauce has been completely changed and tastes like crap. It used to have a sweetness to it but now has a vinegary taste. The onion rings I remember were real onions, breaded and deep fried golden brown. Not anymore, they look and taste like frozen supermarket. If the new company president(Losacco) was trying to improve things, he failed miserably. My deepest sympathy to the original Sonny’s founder. The current management took a great tasting menu and destroyed it. Remember«New Coke»? I am really sorry to see Sonny’s go. Don’t bother commenting on their website. It conveniently times out when you try.

I’ve been coming here for about 15 years with my family. It is our go to place for a quick, cheap, and yummy meal. The wait staff is kind and very conversational. The building itself is clean and there’s plenty of parking. I’ve grown up on Sonny’s BBQ and I love it.

The service was very good, food was good fries could’ve been a little more fresh. But for what we ordered it came in a timely manner. Friendly staff

Worst experience I have ever had at a Sonny’s. Management has no guest recovery skills they were out of regular ribs. They offered all you can eat baby backs for $ 19.99 when asked if they can sub the normal price for those they said no also they don’t have all you can eat brisket at this establishment. I have been to over 25 Sonny’s and they all have the brisket for the all you can eat. The manager that I delt with was Kathy. I wound up not ordering anything from this place at all. Because ribs at Sonny’s is what I look forward to. I suggest you take the small trip up to the Sonny’s in Port Saint Lucy for a far better experience

I don’t understand how they make money — endless salad bar is just $ 3.99 at lunch. With the prices of produce highest since 2007 crisis this does not make sense — and yet Sonnys seem to be doing very well. Having said that the main attraction is not the salad bar(even though it is quite good), a holy trinity of dixie cooking(pulled pork, brisket and ribs) are made on premises and offered at reasonable prices throughout the day. Both pork and brisket could be ordered in a generic southern style or as dry north carolina style dish. Sonnys will also do sliced pork, which is unusual. The staff is super-attentive and will accommodate any reasonable request, for example they offered to and then grilled chicken for us even though they didn’t have it on the menu. I would hate this place to go under, so please consider raising prices 5⁄5 — simple, unpretentious southern cooking

Father’s Day at the Sonny’s in Stuart, FL — 6÷21÷15 — husband only wanted Baby Back Ribs. We go and get there at 7:00’ish, we order, we’re told they are ALL out of baby back ribs. :(Then the all you can eat chicken is on their ‘specials’ board, told they were all out of that too. Said, ‘the lady in back shredded it all’. Offered shredded instead. Opted for the salad bar & soup. Then in my sandwich I found two tomato slices — both slices had the hard end — see photo. Gross. I mean, come on… The restaurant did give my husband’s meal at no cost. Experience was disappointing and unsatisfactory, to say the least.
