They try here, but the staff turns over too much. If you get something simple, yet difficult, be prepared to wait… And wait, and maybe even ask about it…

Special shout out to the barista Brian who was patient and fulfilled my request to have each item rang up separately so that I could earn more reward stars. He was very patient and energized which is refreshing for Starbucks. He also used common sense… When I asked for a grande tea with one teabag he didn’t offer to give me the other teabag to take home as occurred at the Starbucks by my house… I took away a star because the self service cream and sugar station was tore up from the floor up! Please keep up with keeping this straightened up! Will be returning.

Coffee is good. Staff is eh. I was grabbing 6 or 7 coffees for co workers and when asking them to put the different sugar/cream in each, they no longer add it, since there is a station of sugar and milk. Unless I’m grabbing beans, I’m Going elsewhere.

Would have given more stars but the staff for the most part are rude and look miserable. The barista named Christian is the worst. Rude, sarcastic and always bad mouths his job. When he’s there I ask for someone else or I leave. First interaction with him, he questioned why I was getting a refresher because it’s a summer drink and it was fall. Told me he hated making them for people.

Super excited when this opened up! Friendly staff … delicious coffee as always! Caramel brûlée during the holiday season is simply delicious!

The Starbucks here is pretty standard, but can get busy on some days. The restrooms are clean ad the staff is friendly and efficient. I’ve made the walk from here from ESU plenty of time and haven’t regretted it once.

Slightly sub-par brewing, in my opinion, but they make up for it with their smiles and their clean bathroom.

Well, it’s a Starbucks. Not much variation there. This one has slightly more variable staffing. Some of them are cool enough, but there always seems to be one employee on shift at any given time who is complaining about either their job or their life.

It’s Starbucks. Nothing else really needs to be said. I gave it 3 stars because, well, I’m from Seattle, and we recently moved to East Stroudsburg. I have never had to drive more than 5 minutes to find a Starbucks at home. EVER. I have to get on the freeway, or is it interstate, to get to Starbucks, that in itself is something I never thought I would have to do. So I guess I am blessed that I am able to find one out here in the land of Dunkin’ Donuts, because I can’t stand their coffee. I will brave the freeway/interstate if it means I don’t have to have DD. The staff here is friendly, and they make it just the way that it’s supposed to be. If there were to ever be one in East Stroudsburg, well, that would make me a very happy girl. But, I won’t get my hopes up.

We all know Starbucks, so I don’t really have to give this a traditional review so much as I am going to give it my musings. I loved when they opened this SB location because, frankly, I think Stroudsburg was the last place to get one besides that town in North Carolina that had the population of 10. What I also loved was how the minute it opened everyone’s inner coffeehouse lushes came out. Any given day brings the same group of people that should and ARE at every SB whether you’re in Boston, New York, or little olé Stroudsburg. The group of college kids with their whipped cream topped drinks. The mom with the stroller getting her Skinny Moccachino. A guy in a suit. The loner sitting at the laptop smugly sipping their latte typing away at what looks like it could be a screenplay but is more likely Facebook or Unilocal, which just so happens to me today. This SB happens to be pretty quick too. My only suggestion to the Starbucks chain as a whole is: Sell Newspapers. I’ve always thought coffeehouses and newspapers go together like peanut butter and jelly. Is that just me?
