All in all its a great place to work out, Never thought I would love to sweat as much as I do with Zumba. The one negative is Lauren is by far the BEST instructor at the facility but only teaches a couple classes a week. I would def give 5 stars as would all my friends if Lauren taught more.

I recently moved back to the Chicago area from California and was in search of a Zumba studio in the area that was similar to the few I went to while in California. I did not want to join a gym just to attend Zumba so this studio was perfect. The studio has a great list of classes and times with the majority being Zumba which is perfect for me. The instructors are energetic, creative and focused on making sure everyone is having a good time, after all Zumba is kind of like a party. As the previous reviewers have commented the classes are always full, to me this is not a negative it just means that the instructor is good and has a large following. As long as you don’t stand in the back and get their early you will have a great time. My one negative and why I didn’t give 5 stars is that the classes I have attended rarely start on time but almost always end on time which means less time to work out and burn calories. Overall this is a great studio, with tons of energy where you can experience one of the best Zumba instructors(and I have attended classes with 15+ instructors). If you are an experienced dancer you should definitely try the Miami Heat class; it is challenging, fun, and a great way to burn 500+ calories.

So I wanted to try Zumba and found a deal with amazon deal for about $ 30 for a month of Zumba. Ok, so where do I begin… One big dance studio room pack with people, like a can of sardines. Seemed like way to many people for that room and more people kept showing up. The instructor seemed nice and asked if there was any new people, I raised my hand along with a couple others. You would think she would go over some steps for the new people but she just got right into it. I had never done zumba before and I was lost. I was also stuck by some creepy dude who kept invading my space(the tiny space I had) and was ALL over the place. So from there on I was basically turned off by the whole thing. I actually thought about leaving early. Did I go back… Nope, I only used it once sadly. Would I try Zumba again? Yes, maybe from my house or if there was a beginners zumba class.
