Lisa’s is a small little spot with big variety. I usually order sandwiches, grinders, and wraps from here. One of my favorites is the honey mustard chicken wrap paired with French fries and they also make a really good Reuben sandwich. Delicious spot for take out and very reasonably priced.

Really nice to find this diamond in the ruff. Have ordered from here a few times and have never been disappointed. Friendly service and prompt delivery. Looking forward to having a hometown home made meal after a busy day and looking for a little relief from my kitchen. Not that I’m lazy but Lisa’s does fill the gap when looking for quality great tasting food. Looking forward to trying more items on the extensive menu. Highly recommend Lisa’s for those days when you feel like homemade but don’t want or have the time to make it yourself. «Try it, you’ll like it. PS: Use the coupons in the flyer for added savings.

This is the third time I used Lisa for a catered event. The food was outstanding. I was unsure about what to order for the group of 50, but Lisa made suggestions and didn’t do me wrong. The guests enjoyed every morsel. If there was capability for 10 stars, thats what I’d give Lisa and her crew.

This place is awesome! I ran a group for expectant Moms at Bridgeport Hospital, and I called late that evening beforehand, not sure of whether they could still accomodate us. They were very nice and helpful. The food arrived on time, and even the driver was very nice! The food was delicious. Who knew something as simple as baked ziti and meatballs could taste so good. We also had fresh garlic bread and a big fresh spring salad. Everything was wonderful, and we will be recommending Lisa’s. We will DEFINITELY be ordering from Lisa’s again. Thank you!!!

I’ve had food delivered from here and each time I try something new, I’m always severely disappointed. I’ve had the broccoli garlic pasta and it tasted like water. Zero flavor. Then I tried their margarita pizza, it was so sad. The«fresh mozz» was burned, the sauce flavorless, there was literally 4 burnt shriveled basil leaves, and the bread was soggy. And there toppings are 2 $ each! Outrageous! The garlic bread that comes with the meals, is just bread with a small dribble of butter right down the middle of the bread. Again, no flavor. Then there is the matter of service. Every time I called them, I get a rude introduction, «What do ya want?» Never ordered from here ever again.

Delivery was nice and hot on arrival. Pizza was good. The sauce was thick and the mushrooms were fresh. Will definitely try again. Bravo, a decent pizza in Stratford! Update: delivery #2 Chicken Vegetable Soup, Chicken Picatta w side salad and pasta. Portions are generous. Hot on delivery. The soup has lots of chicken, veggies and pasta and is not over-salted like most. Actually, I would say deliberately underseasoned so that you can add to your own liking. Salad is fresh and crispy. The picatta is good. I prefer more flavorful capers, but still good. Lots and lots of chicken. Great value. Plenty for another meal(or two).

We live down the street from Lisa’s, which is convenient. We’ve tried several subs the last few years, and each one is a hit. My husband devours the meatball/sausage sub. Tonight, we tried the pizza for the first time. Incredible! The sauce is the best I’ve ever tasted. Can’t say enough good things. We’ll go back again and again. Oh, and don’t forget dessert! Good eats.

Awesome Italian style takeout food. Great values on two for Tuesday specials but order early she frequently runs out on Tuesday. Her catering food is also delicious and she always remembers your name if you have been there a few times.

Very good homemade food with friendly service; Worth a trip from a neighboring town. Eggplant is delicious. Steak and cheese stuffed bread is great too. Also enjoyed the manicoti. Check out the menu online!

With the addition of local celebrity chef Ed Beck, Lisa’s takes a giant step forward on an already impressive path. If you haven’t checked this place out(Next to Wines Unlimited on Broadbridge Avenue) you’re missing some of the best take home food in Fairfield County! Their impossibly huge menu tends to favor Italian dishes but there isn’t a shortage of options from appetizers, pizzas, sandwiches, entrees(including veal, chicken and fish). There’s a lot of creativity(Mashed Potato, Bacon and Sour Cream — White Pizza, Shrimp Scampi Pizza, Broccoli Rabe and Sausage Pizza, Grilled Scampi Chicken, Mushrooms, Bacon and Jack Cheese Sub, Panecotto, Stuffed Eggplant Parmigiana) as well as a unique Two for Tuesdays Menu that changes every week. What’s Two for Tuesdays? According to their website: «Tuesdays is Two for Tuesdays here at Lisa’s Take-Out Restaurant where you get 2 soups or salads(or one of each) –2 entrees and 2 desserts for only $ 22.95 plus tax. Offer is Good every Tuesday from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm.» That’s a nice option and their website has the current week’s offerings(15 choices this week including Roast Pork Loin, Jagerschnitzel, Ravioli Alfredo w/Grilled Chicken and a Halibut w/Peppers and Olives). Lisa Gargano of North Haven and John Hurylovich of Stratford are the brains and soul of the place which also offers catering. They also deliver although I’m not sure what the distance limitation is on that. By limiting their offerings to pure takeout they limit their customers to people who already have somewhere to eat but don’t have the time, equipment or talent to prepare excellent food. That means that in order to continue in business they have to be able to do it so well that you would rather get your food from them and provide your own setting, clean up etc. than go to an eat-in place. If that doesn’t tell you how committed they are to an excellent product, I don’t know what could. This is a serious takeout restaurant with a fun and interesting menu. Ed Beck is a master in the kitchen with a lot of passion and creativity. Look for some BBQ additions to their menu in the future!

Really good sandwiches and the best ala vodka pasta EVER!
