Not that good and very overpriced $ 12.00 for a family style meal that consisted of I think it was supposed to be coleslaw watered down instant mashed potatoes rice with Tabasco sauce in it and french fries who serves fries with mashed potatoes anyhow where were the vegetables like corn and beans must not have enough starch in them and a piece of ham and at the end you get a 3 ounce cup of ice cream oh boy and all this after we waited about 45 minutes to get served very disappointed I don’t see what the locals see in this place I sure don’t

Basic, no frills American food. A change from fast food, walking distance from my hotel. Good portion sizes, friendly service.

I grew up going to this place. My family and friends still go frequently. The food is good. Try the ham if your hungry, it is huge. Good family restraunt with good service.

Thanks, first Unilocaler… on a trip down i-77 this was a good bet. People are VERY friendly and kind. A no-frills place(now I know where all of those wood-looking salad bowls from salad bars in the 70’s ended up – here!). The salad was just bagged lettuce and dressing. Most of the menu items are iterations of fried chicken. I had the clams, of course they were frozen but they were cooked right, sides were simple but satisfying. Again, the people were really nice here, I felt comfortable dining alone.

Went to this restaurant on the advice of a local, had thank them later, it was THAT good a pick. The outside of the place is deceiving, it looks small until you get inside and then you see just how big this place is and soon discover why it is.(We went for a Sunday lunch and the place was busy, but you would never know it from the service, which was awesome!) This is NOT a chain and its what I would expect in rural Georgia more so than in rural Ohio, it was«good ol’ down-home cooking» at its best.(If you are looking for sushi, this is NOT your place for it!) The menu is complete, food is VERY fairly priced, and quality of food and service was better than I have experienced in quite a while, When I first saw the menu prices, I have to admit that I was worried a place that was that reasonably priced would use inferior ingredients and cut corners to make up for it. My worries were unfounded, the food was as good as the service was. The chicken and fish is served fried or broiled and both preparations are pulled off as well as a patron could want. Those in my party tried several different things on the menu and they were all as good as one could ask for, so I think you are pretty safe in ordering anything on the menu. A BIG thumbs up to this place, now looking for a reason to be in the area, so can try more things on their menu, its that good.
