I had the pork omelet, which was prepared with perfection! It was so mouth watering yummy. If I lived in the area I’d be there every weekend. And topping the omelet off with a delicious cup of coffee. The place is cozy and comforting, a relaxing environment. The staff were also great, which makes dining at Kava Junction that much better. My family and I really enjoyed the experience and plan to return whenever we are in the area.

This place was great! Good coffee, better breakfast. When we were finally waited on the service was friendly and quick. Only reason I don’t give it five stars is that it took ten mi Utes for the waiter to speak to us. Try the sausage gravy and peppered bacon!

Very cute place! Great food too! Got a peppered pig sandwhich and a cherry croisata. The bacon on the sandwhich was seasoned very nicely! Would recommend to anyone. Haven’t tried the coffee yet, but I will be back.

Unbelievably, this establishment allowed a mother to change her baby”s poopy diaper on a table in full view of the rest of the customers. We had crab bisque and it was only ok. Apparently the crab had only walked across the pot we could hardly find any in it. Would not recommend this place.

Made my foirst visit to the new place and the inside is stunning especially the lights over the counter. The food is great as usual and the baked goods are superb! Awesome coffee and the best breakfast sandwiches that I have ever had. The omelets are big enough to feed two. Best of all Scott and Joanna are so friendly and make the place seem like home. Cant wait for my next trip to Lancaster to go back to my favorite place to get some great food and conversation!

Java Junction hosted my sister’s birthday and the staff went ABOVE and beyond in every aspect. The catered food made fresh by the owner’s wife was amazing and the personal attention Scott(owner) and Phil showed all of my family and friends was a true welcoming to Lancaster. The charming and rustic coffee shop not only had excellent service, but the espresso was delicious and the owner made me a beautiful salad for my dietary restrictions made with fresh, local ingredients. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this coffee shop!

Lovely service and great lattes. Traveled here over the weekend with two friends from Japan and one from Finland and everyone was so nice. I have regrets about not trying the baked potato soup. Great weekend with great friends and some fantastic coffee.

I camped out here for a few hours to grade papers on a day off. The staff are all very welcoming, and the waitress kept my coffee mug full. I ordered the Peppered Pig breakfast sandwich, which was delicious, and I LOVED the selection of coffees they offered. I plan to return again soon!

Stopped by the new location in the Oddfellows Hall — very cute coffee shop. We had delicious sandwiches, especially the shrimp salad on pretzel roll. BUTTHEBEST was our purchase of a wet bottom shoo fly pie — the best David has ever eaten. Definitely a repeat visit spot.

Just went to the new Java Junction downtown. Really disappointed, and I was hoping for a cool diner joint in town. Granted the only thing I got was coffee for my wife, but it was milky flavored hot water, no joke it was awful. If the food follows suit, I wouldn’t be surprised. Frankly the only thing saving the review is the atmosphere. First impressions matter and doubt I will be going back.

Said it was opened when we got there it was closed. And they gave us the wrong directions twice. Took us way out of the way.

Awesome local coffee/bakery/breakfast joint! The owners and servers are super friendly truly love what they do. So happy to see a local business serving fresh, homemade food and baked goods. Came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast and it was one of the few stores open. Highly Recommend their organic coffee and $ 5 breakfast sandwich(croissant, maple sausage, cheese, and generous amount of fluffy eggs). Definitely can taste the homemade goodness an flavor. Indoor and outdoor seating around. Tip: Breakfast is 8am — 11am

Cute, clean country café in Strasburg ran by a lovely couple from Baltimore. Service and food are Michelin grade. No paper cups or paper plates here. Real plates and cups to enjoy their coffee and incredibly tasty sandwiches. My main order was a croissant with cheese and sausage somehow dipped in maple syrup. It was magic. A cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese was as good as it gets. After checking in Unilocal we got a free biscotti. We got a couple of guys talking some serious gun shopping and first amendment issues next to our table but I guess that’s par for the course around here. This place is a keeper. I would definitely eat here every damn day if alive anywhere around Amish country. Last! Parking available and they are open on Sundays in a town mostly closed for the day.

Was there April 18, 2015 Saturday morning. The staff were very warm and friendly. The store was clean and organized. Large selection of fresh bakery goods, coffees, and hot breakfast items. Quick service and great prices. I had the Whoopie Pie Roast coffee with almond milk. It was amazing. For breakfast I had a breakfast sandwich consisting of maple sausage, eggs, and cheese in between a warm croissant; I added the hot sauce that they brought out and it was an awesome addition, not overly spicy at all but flavorful. It was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, wonderful flavor, hot and delectable! I also had a side of bacon and homemade grilled cinnamon buns with whipped cream. The peppered bacon was seriously the best bacon I’ve ever had, so were the cinnamon rolls. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. I’m sure being in Amish country had a lot to do with their quality ingredients. If I had Java Junction by my home near Pittsburgh, I’d probably eat there every day. The 5 other people with me visiting Lancaster, PA loved the food too. God bless Java Junction!

I have been coming to this little bakery/café in Strasburg for several years, and my Parents have been coming here equally as long; however, they have probably been here hundreds of times. We all enjoy this café very much. I have had many of the baked goods including the whoopie pies, cookies, chapple pie, and so much more. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. My favorites are the Peppered Pig and the Maple Sausage Sandwich. They have a few tables inside, and also some tables outside the front door, which are great for a beautiful morning. I would recommend this café without a doubt!

After being disappointed at the Springerle House down the street, we came to this bakery which shares a space with Java Junction. I think its actually the same business but they have a coffee shop aspect and a bakery aspect. We got bakery goods to go. The credit card machine broke so we got a handwritten receipt which was fine. The goods: Chapple pie = cherry and apple pie. It had too much clear sugar glaze which took away from the fruit but a very good crust. Four stars. Sticky buns. Five stars. a very fine sticky bun experience indeed. Raspberry Thumbprint cookies. A four star cookie. very good. Biscotti. five stars. I would give 4.5 stars if I was allowed.
