My friend and I decided to get dinner and so we stop to check this place out. Never been here so it was my first time. It’s a not a very big restaurant but they had a decent amount of tables for smaller groups. We were greeted immediately and got lucky to have a booth. Let’s talk about all-you-can-eat! Right away we put a whole bunch or orders in. I tried my friend’s vegetable fried rice and to my surprise it was really good. Lots of flavor and steaming hot when it comes to the table. I ordered beef udon noodles… It was very flavorful although I could go without the ginger that was in it. I just wish there was more noodles than vegetables. Keep in mind, since it was all-you-can-eat everything we ordered came in small dishes and bowls so we weren’t expecting a lot. We order sushi which was amazing. I ordered my favorite shrimp tempura maki and spicy salmon maki. Very good. Now that I think of it, I should have asked for more spicy mayo … for drinks, my friend got a strawberry daiquiri which she sent back because there was too much alcohol and just got a Mai tai. As for me, i just got lemonade. I refilled three times because it was so good. Wasn’t too sweet or sour. Just perfect. I definitely want to come back again. This place was very clean and the waiter was very attentive making sure we were okay and if we wanted to continue ordering. The bill came to about $ 77 which I wasn’t expecting but then again my friend had three drinks. Definitely come and check this place out! Recommend.

Fresh tasty sushi and sashimi option. Snapper, and soft shell crab, and salmon sashimi all were amazing. Rolls were good but nothing that special. Much appetizer options to choose from and over all good quality of food compared to other all you can eat sushi places. Tempura was good. Hot sake was good; ice cream was very good. Ginger ice cream was new to me. It was ok. Green tea, red bean, and mango ice cream was good in that order. It’s near by ikea and good food option After Ikea shopping. Go with a group of people so you can try lots of different things. Be aware when ordering: order just a few and order more as you go. You may be changed for left over food.

Stopped here randomly, and despite the older bad reviews, saw the more recent good reviews and gave it a try! The service was excellent and our waitress was extremely attentive and made sure our drinks were always full and brought our food out quickly. We are here for lunch on a Sunday and their all you can eat prices are great! The sushi was fresh and good quality and the non sushi options like the noodles, rice, beef, chicken, etc, all came it quickly and were nicely prepared and delicious. Maybe the management has changed? It’s definitely nothing like the older reviews described!

This evening, I ordered the house salad, vegetable tempura, spicy tuna maki and spicy yellowtail maki to go. Let me tell you, I ordered after a day of hiking with two dogs and I was darn hungry. The service(as far as takeout goes) was prompt and friendly. I LOVE the ginger dressing that most places use on their salads. This was no exception. However, my salad was sitting in a pool of water. I drained, dried and re-plated it. Average. I won’t get it again. The tempura was very tasty, but the batter could have been crispier. It seemed slightly on the soggy side. I would like to assume this is mainly due to being placed in the takeout container. Onto the sushi. Something about the proportions of rice to fish was awkward, and the ‘filling’ was inconsistent. Let me tell you, I had not eaten since breakfast so I inhaled all this food. But now I’m not feeling so fantastic and part of me wonders if it is due to the speed at which I ate, or the quality of the food. In no way does this place compare to Oishii by my old office, but I would be willing to give is another go. The variety reviews I have read is concerning, though. I do not plan to try the all-you-can-eat.

Sushi were decent, but service was the worst I’ve had in a while. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant and waitresses just stood there talking even when we were trying to get their attention. No one came to ask«how is everything?» after the food was brought to the table. Waitress just tried to take a plate from under my friend without even asking her if she was finished with it.

One of my favorite restaurants! I always choose to eat here for special occasions. Love the«Red Dragon» Roll ! They have the best Salmon Sashimi ! A little bit pricey BUT the«All You Can Eat» option is definitely Worth It! Tried different sushi restaurants but I always come back to Su Su.

Oh this place has gone down hill since the last time I came here. Brought two friends and my husband here for dinner all you can eat, and we all were very underwhelmed. The sushi that came out was very«meh» Probably won’t be coming back here because of the lack of service tastes and quality in their food. Such a shame, this is the closest sushi place to us.

I’ve been here since it first opened and I’ve never had any issues. They recently opened up a seafood bar which was nice, but unfortunately the crab legs didn’t have much flavor. The service is really good, our waitress picked up every empty plate pretty quickly and refilled our water before it got empty.

I never ate any sushi taste so bad before. So disappoint. When we left some disgusting food, the server waitress want to ask us to pay more. Really? Too salty to eat anymore, but still ask to pay more money. Won’t come again.

Just awful. Bad service and the food was not good at all. Just thrown together. What else can I say? I’ll never go back and waste my money there. I’d rather go to bed hungry.

The foods are very bad, fishes are fresh, I didn’t expect to see super quality fish, but these cant even meet the standards of being fresh! Disappointed, and the other cooked foods are not good either, the fried noodle are soaked in the sauces, the beef skewers are no taste and hard to chew! And they also charge for two year old which barely eat nothing! I had been through most of the all you can eat sushi restaurant in Boston, and this is the worst I had went!!! I had spent almost $ 100 for worst lunch ever! Definitely not going back!!!

I ordered my 1st round of sushi and it took about 10 mins to arrive. When the waitress put the plate in front of me I picked it up and realized the plate was hot. It had obv come straight out of the dishwasher. Awesome. I also noticed the rice was warm and so was the fish. The fish didn’t have much flavor and the nigiri rolls were rather small. My second round i ordered a shrimp tempura roll and as soon as I order it another waitress rounds the bend with it. So it obv wasn’t fried and rolled fresh. I wondered how long it had been sitting there. One bite and I was grossed out. Way to much mayo and eel sauce. I don’t understand the good reviews on here. The food wasn’t fresh and had no flavor.

I wished I read the reviews before I came here. I’ve never had bad sushi until I tried this place. When the waitress put down the plate of sushi, I could already smell a whiff of fishiness but I decided to give it a try. The fish here are definitely not fresh and the rice is overly sticky and chewy as if they put too much water when they cooked the rice. The only good part was the nigiri where the shrimp and octopus seemed fresh. Unfortunately, they were wrapped in poorly cooked rice. Overall, the sushi was so bad that my friend and I couldn’t finish the whole plate. They tried to charge us $ 2.00 for each sushi we didn’t finish. Even though they waived the fee after I complained about the poor quality of the food, they still charged us full price for all you can eat. Clearly they’re okay with making money off of serving bad food. I will definitely not come back again!

ITSBEENMONTHSWITHOUTSUSHI. I missed it and so did my friend so we spontaneously went to the closest AYCE sushi. Ordered: Several rolls???- they all were a bit disappointing just because the rice was SO chewy and made it hard to consume. the fish on some of them just tasted weird and not good. Gyozas– super hard to chew. don’t advised you to order these Hand rolls– the rice made it so hard to eat and the seaweed was hard like a rock Nigiri(the best thing we had) — if i ever came back here, i’d just order a whole bunch of these; especially unagi(eel) nigiri Ice cream(green tea and red bean) — you can’t go wrong with ice cream! Service: Honestly, there was NO problem. The staff seemed nice and it wasn’t packed when we arrived. The food here just wasn’t great. I know it’s AYCE but I’ve been to other AYCE for the same price and had better experiences.

My husband and I came to try out their sushi buffet and since it’s our first time, the owner offered us 10% off our meal. The owner was incredibly courteous and nice. The food was also really good in terms of quality and presentation for a buffet restaurant. Restaurant was a decent size, comfortable and clean. The fish to rice proportion was also decent considering most sushi buffets usually load up the rice in sushi rolls; we didn’t have that issue here so +1 for this restaurant! The only thing I was incredibly upset about is the staff at the restaurant. Most does not speak english well, which was fine, except they would just stand around and talk. They don’t come over to ask if we need anything until we wave one down and they only take away dirty dishes when they are already here. Some of our food came late, not because the restaurant was busy(there were only 3 full tables including mine and 3 staffs and 2 sushi chefs), but because they didn’t make it until we asked them about it. Every time we waved down a staff, they sighed as if we just ruined their day. Before they gave us our check, my husband noticed 2 of the staff looking at the tab with dirty looks and making comments before coming over to us(they were in clear sight!!). Overall, I may come back if I desperately want sushi buffet since they have the best quality for the price near where I live. But it would have to be on a day when I’m ok with just going for the food and able to ignore the crappy staff.

Been to this place a couple of times… and it is by far one of my favorite AYCE… if I live in the south shore, i will be a frequent diner… they have an extensive sushi and hot food menu to please the crowd for those that don’t eat sushi… Although service is a bit slow but at a AYCE that means giving us more time to digest. and order more. I love they have an extensive sushi and hot food menu(I think they’ve added even more hot food on their menu) Must try: Grilled Salmon Belly Beef Wrapped Enoki Mushroom

It seems like each time I come the food is worse than the previous time. It pretty much reached rock bottom nowadays. The sashimi seemed even thinner and smaller than last time. It’s bite sized for a 5 yr old! It’s pretty much to the point that it lacked texture and flavor. On top of that, the quality of the fish is by far the worst I’ve seen for AYCE. The kitchen food seems to change style every time I come here for the same dish. Not much of it is actually Japanese flavored from the gecko. It’s more like Chinese marinate. As for the service, it was typical Chinese run service quality. They kept my tea cup bottomless so that was cool.

I was here for a party(not good for large party-seating was very cramped) that included about 30 ppl. SERVICE: Two waitresses handled it all and at times were rude. Twice the same one waitress pointed to a plate that had one piece of food left and she came by and said ‘you done with that yet?’ and quickly took the plate off the table. We did not get our drinks until after half our sushi came out. The apps and soups never came out since the waitress FORGOT to put the order in. Btw the sushi is ordered on a totally separate sheet than all the other apps, soups, and smaller plates. Oh and did I mention we had to ask for water 3 times before we got it. FOOD: Mediocre. There was a review that someone [Meghan O] said that this place is better than market-bought sushi but worse than other sushi restaurants… she was TOTALLYRIGHTON! AND I also agree that QUINCY(i.e fugi and beni) has way better sushi south of Boston. But as I was trying the several different makis that was ordered on the table… there was a maki order that had cream cheese and imitation crab meat in it… and the plastic was still on it. NOOOOOO so gross! I was horrified and disgusted… My boyfriend ended up spitting it out… enough said. *please look for the picture of the plastic I will also post* WOULD I RECOMMEND: Prob not. But hey I give it the benefit of the doubt that this restaurant just can’t handle high volume. I do know personally people that frequent this place but man I was disappointed. LASTNOTE: yes this place has 4 stars and over 200 reviews. But keep in mind there are about 40 – 50 reviews that do not recommend this restaurant and weirdly are not factored into the ‘star rating.’

There have been some improvement on their service or maybe because it was slow(only a few parties). Either way. it was a noticable difference. They offered refills on our soda on several occasions. All the items we’d ordered appeared onto our table as expected. For a sushi buffet — they don’t offer as much sashimi option or variation in their specialty rolls(all seem to have a common theme — shrimp tempura). Their standard maki rolls are heavy handed w/sushi rice — which also applies to any dish with a rice component. Guess that is how they cost control. The quality of the sushi was decent, not great. Overall, if you’re in the south shore area and don’t want to trek into Boston — its worth keeping on the list for its value.
