Decent hotel although parts of the bathroom in my queen room were showing its age. Internet speed was excellent during my overnight stay. Breakfast is what you would expect for free breakfast, but not too bad.

Top notch! Nice clean rooms, friendly service at front desk, nice pool area and good breakfast with more choices than some. Would definitely visit again!

Great hotel would return. 1 exit north of Stone Mountain Park entrance. Well lit secure parking. Very friendly staff at check in. Room was clean and I am not easy to please. Refrigerator and microwave w coffee maker. Free WiFi and hot breakfast. Breakfast was make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, usual fresh fruit, donuts, biscuits pastries. Manager came in and asked how our stay was. Indoor pool is saltwater which I like because I had being trapped in a chlorine smelling space. Pool heated and clean small approx 10 by 30? 3 ft to 4 ½. Hot tub looked dirty and in need of a good cleaning g we passed. Beds comfy, TV had Directv.

Bed was very firm, my preference is usually a more soft bed. Pillows were stuffed with feathers and were flat once you placed your head onto them. NOT a good night’s sleep. Shower made a rather loud squeaking noise while on. Room was clean, 2 flat screen TVs in our room-cool!

My first time ever staying here and I love it! I am usually at a Courtyard Marriott but my friend suggested that I try something new since I was only in town for one night & arriving late. They have direct TV cable, they don’t normally have that at hotels. The staff was really nice. I will be staying here again anytime I’m in ATL.

We spent two nights in this Country Inn & Suites property while visiting Stone Mountain Park. Our overall experience at County Inn & Suites has been favorable and this stay was no exception. The king bed room #327 was clean and had all the amenities that we expected. Breakfast the first morning included link sausages and scrambled eggs. If the sausage had been cooked a little longer, it would not have been as greasy. There were plenty of other choices. On the second morning there was sausage and French toast. The French toast was barely, barely warm, and of course, the sausage greasy. Maybe a micro-wave oven could be added to the breakfast area for guest use. When we stay at Country Inn & Suites, we look forward to «home made» cookies at the check in desk, along with coffee. They were out of cookies this weekend so none were available. This certainly could have been remedied without too much trouble. There are many alternative sources of cookies other than their usual source. One other minor issue was the slow draining bath tub in room 327. I reported this as we checked out.

I’ve stayed with Country Inns & Suites for a number of years(I am Concierge level in their rewards program). I’ve gotten away from them in recent months due to the fact that some of their properties seem to have slipped in quality. However, I found this on to be of decent quality. I was attending a function at Stone Mountain Park and this hotel is about two miles from the main entrance of the park. I had a first floor room(which I generally try to avoid) but the room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The room did not smell(major turn-off) and the linens were fresh. I found the people to be nice, also. I can certainly understand the reviewer’s disgust at finding the roach. But at least it was dead. I’ve got no complaints with this property and would definitely stay here again.

I normally don’t stay at Country Inn & Suites. This is the first time I’ve checked into and out of a hotel in a few minutes. *blink* 1 — We entered the room and a roach — albeit, dead– greeted us in the middle of the bathroom floor. 2 — We pulled the comforter back to let our 8 month old sit on the bed and found hair all in the blanket under the comforter. Ick. We called around and got a Marriott which was much better. Country Inn & Suites allowed us to cancel. I couldn’t sleep in the dark knowing that roaches always travel with family members. UGGGHHHHHH… Boo.
