Sad. After 22 years, this locally owned store is closing. Yes… it had been a while since I had walked into this store. Years as a matter of fact.
The owner was friendly… proud of the slimest of pickings he had left. I bought 2 shirts for my husband with the ‘Spike’s’ logo. for $ 8 each.
Yup… I shit you not. Eight DOLLARS.
He has very few items left… does not accept checks at this point. Only credit and cash.
