Oh, Shi Ra Soni. I’ll keep this review short and sweet.
This place has great sushi, no doubt. Probably one of the best sushi joints in Stockton. They also have a half-​off sushi special on Summer Monday’s (usually around June to September) which is a HUGE plus. It gets pretty busy though but that’s understandable! (I’m lightweight sad that Summer Monday’s gets busier and busier every year because word gets out. Business has certainly grown over the past few years-​not saying its a bad thing!)
Despite the great sushi, the teppanyaki is lackluster. Even something as simple as fried rice doesn’t taste good to me. I’ve also ordered steak, hibachi calamari, and they’re all pretty mediocre dishes. Of course they do offer the whole show, however considering the food, I’d opt for the sushi instead!
The service here is a hit or miss. Sometimes I end up with a great server, sometimes the front-​of-​the-​house person can be rude. It all depends if it’s a busy day or not.
If you’re a regular customer like me, get a rewards card! They will email you deals for your birthday and anniversary! For every $ 1 you spend, you get 1 point. For every 200 points, you get a rewards card ($ 10 off I believe). Not bad!

I LOVE this Place!!! I’m so sad they don’t open until 4:30 on Saturdays Tho! I’m in Need of a Kimmie Roll! Not on the menu but my specially requested roll which has salmon, crabmeat, shrimp tempura inside and salmon, fresh chopped jalapeño and green onion on the outside topped with three sauces hold the tobiko! Yummmm! I order to go at least once a week and I try to dine in at least once a month! Happy hour is great and so is the service!!!

I gave this place a two, because we had to wait really long just to get our food. The bathrooms were nasty as heck. Also the service really sucked bad!!!

First time going and let me start out by saying «oh my goodness! So delicious. When you go, see if you can get Tommy as your chef! He kept a conversation going which was excellent. We didn’t get bored at all. Point blank period, the food was great and so was the service!

Best sushi for a awesome price. You definitely get what you pay for. My husband and I have been coming here for years. I also love the karate chop.

Sushi rolls are half off on Mondays. Score!!! This place was so yummy and greet service. Will have to come back to get my free CA roll. I’m stuffed. Make sure to eat all your roll or else it’s full price.

So yesterday my boyfriend and I came here for dinner around 5:40 for dinner. Thank goodness we didn’t have to wait for service. We ordered 3 different rolls, The Lion King, Firecracker roll, and Tokyo Roll. I also ordered a half sashimi combination dish. OMG! The food was delicious. My favorite roll always was the firecracker bc of the kick and crunch but I think I found my new favorite to be the Lion King. So satisfied.
Anyways… to write on we were lucky to have gone there early to be seated quickly and served quickly. We got our food really fast. By the time we were trying to leave a lot of people was already started to come in and it got really packed.
So our waitress was great. Too bad I didn’t get her name. She was tending to our needs and other costumers, even if we didn’t ask for very much.
One only downside and why it end up getting only a 4star was because on this certain day the host decided to dress very unprofessionally, I hate to criticize other people but when someone boobs is literally wanting to COME OUT was very inappropriate. Both my boyfriend and I were sitting at the bar with her breast technically in our faces. I was very uncomfortable and so was my boyfriend he couldn’t even watch the game and had to keep looking down, being considerate of me. Someone tell the lady to dress appropriate, no one runs business that way unless it’s HOOTERS. this isn’t. Please be a little respectful to your customers and cover it up. Seriously that wasn’t appropriate.
But definitely will come back for the sushi again!

They have constant business here and normally very busy, but being that I come to eat and it watch the show, I normally get seated quickly at a table.
I very much recommend the cheesy crab roll. Soft shell crab and cream cheese? How can you go wrong? Their portions are great. I always leave feeling gluttonous. Their seafood in the dinners are always fresh and they cook your steak perfect to order. The down side is when you order food at a regular table, they still cook it at the grill so you are waiting for someone to do it while they entertain. They offer great deals when you are a reward member. We get discounts for everyone’s bday in my family and our anniversary. I think that’s so awesome! And if you don’t order the free entire they give you, they will take the value of that entrée off your bill. I really enjoy the food here and have sometimes gone twice a week.

Have eaten here a dozen times, yummy sushi and love the teriyaki chicken as well. The summer ½ off sushi rolls Monday’s are the best! Eat at a grill to experience the onion volcano.

I’ve been here quite a few times (both dining in and take out) always amazing. Personally I think it’s MUCH better than Benihana. food, prices and atmosphere. Their garlic fried rice is the best, always be sure to upgrade. My go to place when ever I want delicious salmon.

Been here about a dozen times. The food here is great. The chief’s are fun to watch and great to interact with. The staff is friendly and the wait staff is usually on point.
I usually get the chicken and my husband usually gets the steak. Had the sushi and a couple of the apps. Everything tasted great.
The only pet peeve I have is that I always get the steam rice instead of the fried rice and they always forget to bring out the steam rice. Not a big deal … so I usually just have to ask the waiter to get it, but does get annoying since it’s happen every time I’ve been in.

This place was alright. I was here mainly for the camaraderie of my martial arts group. What I did appreciate about this place was how easy it was to seat 15+ people.
When you come to a habachi place, you are there for the show too, and unfortunately our chef did none of that. The garlic fried rice was cooked great though. Everything else was way undercooked. I ordered the Habachi Scallops, and I couldn’t finish it because it was too rubbery.
The sushi was clearly not a sushi place. You could tell that the fish was not that fresh. But, the cooked rolls were great! I loved the selection, and how harmonious all the elements tasted together. Order the Cheesy Crab roll!
So this place has some promise. If you get the right chef, then you may not have the same bad experience as me.
