12oz macapuno for 4.99? Other places in which i should’ve went to, cost about $ 2.39-$ 2.99. Place is overpriced. Service isn’t the best.

Overpriced food that is just okay, nothing special. The little young worker there is always rude & never greets with a smile. The beef sticks are $ 2?! Crazy! Barely even has meat on it. They always try to pressure you in buying something is when you’re already pulling out your wallet to pay. I used to like coming here but the more you show your face, the less they greet you or act nice towards you. Gotta find a different place to get my Filipino cravings.

I’m new to the Stockton area. I moved here recently from San Francisco where filipino restaurants are everywhere. I’ve tried a few restaurants here and they weren’t so great. I came across this place, and I am in love with their food. The quality is excellent, the flavors are all there, their food is made daily, and the service is friendly. The only downside is there isn’t sufficient seating. Trust me, you’ll love the food. Best adobo I’ve ever had.

I’ve been here twice. First time was with my mom. The food was okay, not the best, but their turons are really good. The owner seemed like a nice Filipino lady. She was talking and smoozing my mom to buy the prepackaged fish. We didn’t. The second time I went alone to pick up some turons. The owner was f*cking rude and told me I’d have to wait 20 minutes for it, because the ones she had out was for someone’s order. An older Filipino man came in and she sold him a dozen turon from the dish that was someone’s «order» WTF, right!?! And afterwards talked sh*t about me in Tagalog. I understood every word and just left. I only gave 1 star because their turon was really good. I would rather drive to the bay and get my turon fix there, than come back to this shitty place.

It was my first time ordering/buying food from this place. Right when I walked in someone yells«WATCHOUT!!» There is a wet spot right infront of the door. I don’t get why they would start mopping during business hours? Anyways, I ordered the rest of their longanisa sausages which were 8 left(.85 cents each). At first I hesitated because there were flies everywhere and the food is just sitting there idk I was already there and craving it so I bought it. The owner came up to me and kept trying to sell me those beef sticks and saying«buy it buy it, no tax» like over and over and I got ONE so she would stfu and then she kept trying to sell me more –____– like calm down. Why are you yelling??? anyways the sausages were pretty good but so disgustingly greasy… Most likely won’t be coming back.

We stopped here on our way to Los Angeles from Seattle. We met Rocky, the owners son outside and he shared a little about the restaurant as well as the best items. I’m used to food being amazing, being from LA, and I was so amazing at the quality of the food. I have to go, but in short, the service and food are 6⁄5 stars.

Worst eatery in town. Customer service sucks. The owner Anna is so rude. I wont recommend this place to anyone.

Rude Ana, the owner. Has the nerve to argue with her customers as she said she has the right to refuse service. She said she does not care if we came from LA and that she would not want to give in to customers request to put the food on a separate container when buying a combo. You prolly missed your«good manners and right conduct» class in the Philippines whe you were a kid! I ask her then why did you not refuse to seve us then? So we decided to leave. I am a great supporter of Filipino restaurant all over as I want to support small businesses and promote Filipino cuisine to non-Filipinos. This time I recommend people to not visit this place, unless you want crappy service and rude treatment. I should have read many bad reviews about this place before even considering to visit this place.

Customer service is important peeps! If you cannot bend the rules, there’s always a better way to say it & other ways to please your customer. You might want to work on that while you still have a few customers left.

Though I hardly eat filipino food, i still love it. I decided to edit my review since I wanted to be fair. The service is ok, though there are other times I went and the person who helped me was rude and unfriendly. It’s ok, we all have our good and bad days. Last time I went I was overcharged and the meals were very minimal. I felt like they put as little food as they can instead of a fair portion like most businesses. The food tasted stale like it was leftovers from another day. It didn’t have that cooked fresh kind of flavor. But the one good thing I cannot knock is their bbq on the stick. I really prefer not to leave bad reviews. But please Keep it fair Manila foods.

Rude ass owners!!! I’ve been here multiple times and every time I go there, it’s the same thing. «What do you want?» No greetings and no attention to customers. After ordering the food, there’s no «thank you» or «have a nice day» nothing. If it wasn’t for my girlfriend being Filipino and living in the area we wouldn’t go there. This is def. the last time I’m spending my money there. If you have a high tolerance to people with no manners and assholes by all means stop by, because the food isn’t bad.

FYI! Do not buy any prepared food at the Philipino market in Weston Ranch! I was in there buying chips, and this guy was standing there picking at the fried bananas that were out on the counter, and eating them!!! Then he walked into the back room! No he had not bought them, there was a bunch of them out for sale, he was picking off the crispy parts and eating it off off different ones! GAAAAGGG!!! I will NEVER shop there again!

Was craving some pancit palabok so I went to hit up Manila Foods cause it’s close to my house. It’s a warm Saturday afternoon went in and it was warm inside. They had the fan on but it wasn’t helping. I’m the type of customer who’s patient and polite cause I know how hard and frustrating it can be to run a business. The lady who owns the place was super rude from the minute I walked in with my youngest sister. I ordered a small plate of palabok, 3BBQ meat sticks and 5 pieces of turon for my mom and dad. When I was paying the lady was throwing my card around and giving me attitude. And on top of that my order costed $ 15 something like seriously? Way over priced! Because of the poor service I didn’t enjoy my food. Never again will I go there for anything! They don’t even deserve a star

I just saw a roach on the counter while i was paying. They didnt even try to kill it. The owner just charge me $ 8.50 for my combo which was supposed to be $ 7.50 only. I ended up paying $ 20.03 for two combos. I complained and the owner said«that was the tax». Im never coming back here. Beware. The owner double tax also, so watch her closely.

Visiting from Toronto, Canada and tasted the Turon from my sister who lives in Tracy and told us they got this from Manila Food from Stockton. got the info from my sister and when I called Manila Food they told us they only have 5 Turon left. Since were coming from Tracy, we wanted more than 5 so we ordered about 30 pcs. The Turon at Manila food are worth to drive for and even in Canada I never tasted as delicious as this. In addition, the owner Anna is so nice. Keep up the great taste and even if they increase the price, I will still definitely buy them. I will definitely go to Manila Food next time I’m here in Tracy California.

After shopping at Food 4 Less, my family likes to go get turon and BBQ here. They got the best Turon in town and it’s so crispy which I love. Good BBQ also. Plus, the price for the turon and BBQ are really cheap.

My best friend referred me to this place so I stopped by to give it a try. I was greeted by a friendly staff member and was delighted to see an array of Filipino dishes on their menu. They’ve got the best Turon(fried banana). It’s made as soon as you order it so it’s warm and crispy once you take a bite. I also tried their BBQ on a stick and it was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes :)
