Maggie’s Cafe

This is located at the basement of the hospital. I would say that the food is just ok not too great not too bad. But the pricing and the attitude of the food service. They’re very rude. I was visiting a friend admitted in the hospital and went downstairs. I was in line, while I was waiting the one that serving the hot food has an attitude. She put a very small amount of food into the old mans plate and the man asked if she could give some more. Then she just throw an attitude. Come on, first of their price is not supposed to be that high for a cafeteria. It’s ok if u pay more as long u put more on the plate. Right? Plus u can just say it nicely that u can’t put more on the plate.

This place is located in the basement of Dameron Hospital. I go there now and then for lunch because it’s close and convenient to my job. You have to watch very closely what you eat. Mashed potatoes and gravy are always good, baked chicken is good. One thing you don’t want to eat is the pork. They just don’t know how to cook pork. It’s either overdone, dry or both. Nasty stuff. The hotdogs are good along with the polish sausage.
The one redeeming feature is they do have a grill where you can get burgers, fish sandwiches, grilled cheese, chicken burgers, etc.
What’s needed here is a good restaurant close to the Hospital, like, within a block.
