Wow, food is great and portions are no joke. Lumberjack size! Whoa!!! Right off the 5 fwy. Waffles bacon and eggs smoked ham I went to town! Omg this place deserves better than 3 ½ stars cmon Unilocalers! Get with it.

The staff and service here is excellent! When our server was busy, someone else would come by and check up on us. Teamwork really shows in here unlike other restaurants. Would highly recommend this place for breakfast or dinner! Will be coming back again.
I took some left-​overs home, and the fries tasted really good still! They weren’t even soggy. Whoever is behind that kitchen is making miracles with its fries.

We had breakfast here while in town and thought it was ok. We didn’t have super high expectations but I’d say our experience here was equivalent to a Cocos — but with larger portions.
I ordered the country fried steak and while it was huge, I thought it was dry and thin… but edible. I got a few bites of it and thought the sauce was tasty but after tending to my daughter’s breakast needs, my food got a little cold so when I started to eat the sauce again, it was a little too thick and grainy. I didn’t take many more bites. Thankfully, the hash browns and the eggs that I ordered still were good.
All in all, it was ok.

Since I am a fan of Bob’s Big Boy restaurants, you know I am going to stop at a restaurant where there is a 12 foot lumberjack outside. Enjoyed the food, and the excellent service. Where else can you find a hostess who goes to Oakland A’s games on a motorcycle!

There are definitely mixed reviews for this place. Honestly, next time I’m up North and near Stockton I will definitely stop by for the breakfast. We went on 5÷19÷16. Our waitress was so, so friendly. The place was very busy especially for mid morning breakfast (about 10:00), The portions were definitely lumberjack sized. Being nosey, we watched as a customer at another table order a hamburger that was larger than the plate. He had to slice it to eat. It was quite amusing.
My table: I ordered some type of skillet concoction that had everything in it and it was served with a hot tortilla. One friend had the lumberjack combo plate and the other had a tri tip melt of some kind. They loved the coffee and fresh oj.
The odd thing is we went to Ihop the day before and spent the same amount of money $ 51.00 but had BETTER food and a lot more of it. IHOP, $ 51.00 for 3 people, nothing fancy, $ 51.00!
I would recommend Lumberjacks for breakfast but only if you have time for a nap afterward.

Took 6 out of towners here for breakfast… they loved it. service was great, food was great… better come hungry because the portions are big. It’s truly where the big boys eat!

The breakfast is good. My issue was with one particular employee walking around and handling food with a filthy stained white t-​shirt. It’s inexcusable and when I saw her handling my toast with her bare hands I lost my appetite.

Really unfortunate to leave a bad review considering how we came because they had such good reviews… But we had such a bad experience. The food was decent but the service was lacking. It was so bad we did not leave a tip. Our server never came back to check up on us and there were so many employees but none of them, in exception to the cooks, were really working. From where we were positioned we could see into the service line and kitchen and I guarantee you not, majority of the staff were either chatting, eating or on their cell phones. Really really unprofessional. We are never coming back.

Just had the best salad I’ve had in a long long time! Ordered the Lumbar JILL spinach salad with chicken bacon artichoke hearts and tomato with a garlic dressing ! Looks like a Black Bear Diner and I was expecting Denny’s type food. I was wrong ! Nice people great food.

Came here with some family for Easter (03÷27÷16) and it was a much better experience especially service wise since last time was terrible. This time around before ordering an omelet with crumbled meat again I asked the server if it was possible to get the meat in chunks. She said they could do that so I ordered the Jack Omelet (bacon, sausage and substitute ham for extra sausage).
The omelet was much better although the bacon was still crumbled even tho I said I wanted all the meat in chunks. The sausage in chunks made it much more enjoyable. I don’t believe I was given the extra sausage for the ham tho. No worries. The coffee was ok, kinda weak for my preference. Our server was awesome and was timely with everything.
I’ll return knowing I can ask for chunks of meat for my meals now and hopefully I get the good servers again.

We’ve been traveling all week across California, many restaurants visited. Saw this when getting gas and decided to try… Hands down, most amazing food I’ve honestly have had all Month! I got the Prime Rib, cooked to a perfect medium rare with a spot on horse radish sauce, perfect potatoe and a huge loaf of fresh bread with their finger licking good Sweet Butter! Spot on bold iced tea and great salad bar with fried croutons and a chunky blue cheese! My gf got the Santa Fe skillet, and she was in love with every bite and to top it with amazing sour dough dripping in butter! Every single item was amazingly perfect and the tongue and soul was very happy. A+ service, Emuna made sure our meals stayed perfect and iced tea’s stayed topped off! I’m so so soo sad that there’s isn’t a LUMBERJACKS where I live. This is definitely where the Big Boys Eat!

Service was moderately quick, got slow at some point but I think I may have shown up right around shift change, so that didn’t bother me. I was quick to be served my coffee, which is generously sized. Perfect! I’d ordered a veggie melt for 9.99 and the serving size was quite large! And the sweet potato fries; delicious! Overall pleased with my visit!

We had a great experience! The waitress was super friendly and accommodating! If you are thinking of LumberJacks being your appetite, the portions are large!!!
My hubby had the eggs benedict, that were perfect, and he is quite picky when it comes to his eggs benedict! I enjoyed the chicken fried steak, which was tender enough to cut with my fork and equally delicious.
We will be back! But next time I will remember to ask for the special because I was there before 11 and could have saved $ 5! So if there for breakfast, tell em you want the special or you get menu price!!!

Really nice place to have a brunch. The portions are really big and filling. The hospitality was really on point to. It was nice as an non-​local to have a this kind of restaurant to experience. It was recommended by a friend and Im glad I went. Had the chicken fried stake and it was huge. It also came with a huge mini-​loaf of bread and endless butter which I really liked. Only thing was I felt the youngest in the whole restaurant as a lot of older folks came for the senior specials.

A beautiful Sunday and enjoying a nice brunch with family. Arrived at the restaurant close to 11am and there were already a lot of people waiting. Apparently, we only waited for 10 – 15 minutes upon arrival. The restaurant is comparable to Black Bear Diner. However, this restaurant is known for their Big Redwood Burger (1lb). I was hesitant to try it, instead I ordered the Griddle Combo. I tried the chicken fried steak as well and it was pretty good. I’d love to come here again whenever I’m in town. Overall, great service and good comfort food.
