This KFC location has slowly become one of go to spots for chicken. It’s a newer looking one for my city of Stockton, CA. Some locals might say it’s in a bad neighborhood. My response, so what?
It’s KFC people, if you want bomb chicken then BBQ it up my Nikka. Add yo spice and make it nice. So quit the belly aching and just get yo grub on.
Way too many reviews on Unilocal that people be dissing fast food joints. You know what you’re getting right off the bat. Chu know es food is gonna be jacked up via drive thru. Chu know you’ll get okay to sub par service. Chu know you must like it because all you do is complain. SMH. Chu know es VD keeps it real ²⁴⁄₇. Shoot somebody has to.
My last visit, I came in with ²⁄₃ children for din din. The service was cool and everything was made fresh and hot. So the wait time was a little bit longer than usual. We usually order the $ 5 fill ups and I get the chicken little bit size sandwiches. The chicken littles are gone in a split second, lol.
Inside it’s pretty spacey and spread out. So no bumping elbows. They do have a drive thru but I never used it before.

Horribly small portions and the chicken is so cold and dry.

This place is good. I mean really good. First off its always clean (except for the transients of course) but even in that aspect I always see employees running away people asking for change so thats good. But the food here is awesome. Never old cold nasty food. The employees are all pretty nice also. They seem to like working here. I say thumbs up to the manager as this place used to be a wreck when I came here now its a pleasant experience every time. For such a young guy to be running this place he sure is good at it. Good job on this corporate.

I eat here about once a week. Forget the fact it is on Wilson Way, but so is every other fast food chain. The employees are very clean and curteous. The dining area always spotless and never had to wait for food. The restroom are always very clean as well. For being in such a crapy part of town and with all the transient activity in the area, they do an outstanding job! Total 5 stars.

This place uses teenage slave labor. I used to work here 25 years ago as a teenager 1988 – 1989 from the ages of 16 – 17. The manager used to have the females lift heavy buckets of ice and bring them to the front. One day I was assigned to do that task and I felt a pop in my back, I quickly informed the manager and she responded with «Do not lift heavy items», however the damage was done. For 25 years of my life I have lived with chronic back pain and this is something that should have been handled through a Workmans Comp Claim, but I was young and didn’t know the ways of the laws nor my rights. I have had to spend thousands of dollars trying to keep the pain at bay, which I feel on a daily basis and every day I think of the injustice that manager did to me.
IF YOU ARE A CARING PARENT, DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD work here, they will use them and abuse them. This company does not care about their workers and uses child labor to exploit abuse them since they are ignorant and innocent to the laws.
I wanted to give them zero stars but the tool did not allow it.

This is one of the newest stores in Stockton and seems to be pretty busy AKA fresh chicken, not stuff left over from lunch like the one on Waterloo Rd. I’ll give 4 stars for fast good service and fresh products

This is where the old Hoosier house used to be. I was so sad when they tore down that structure. But now stands a spanking brand new KFC. Mom decided she wanted the $ 2.99 chicken pot pie. Well, that took 20 minutes for them to cook, because they didn’t have any in stock. I guess that is good, because it was super fresh. But waiting in your car on hooker alley, is an adventure I’d say for sure.
