El Pollo Loco

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had! The service was fast and friendly, and the food was equally amazing.
We ordered the two piece meals, all breast with beans and rice and tortillas, and I must say it was delicious. It tasted exactly as I remembered, hot, juicy, and perfectly seasoned and grilled.
I would highly recommend a visit to this El Polo Loco you will not be disappointed. Great food for a great price with quick friendly service!

Good food but consistently gets the order wrong. Sometimes they go over the order and it’s right. But the times that they don’t it’s when I get burned.

Got a late night dinner meal for me and my babe.. Some of the employees were dressed up for Halloween. I asked to take a pic of them for Unilocal but they refused lol they were embarrassed.

Do not get the salads! Disgusting! Lettuce was brown, avocado was sour tasting. I’m surprise this place is still open

You ran out of Chicken at 7:30??? Seriously? Chicken? That’s crazy! Pun intended.
Not just that, but I’m standing there waiting for someone to take my order. That someone was busy sweeping the floors right in front of me, so I’m thinking not a CS employee… Then someone else asks her to take my order???
Then they tell me they are out of Chicken???

This was my favorite place to eat till i found a grasshopper in the salsa a couple of months ago. And even like that i still decided to give them another chance and go again, even though a lot of other people would have said screw that place. This time i order the pollo bowl and let me tell you this place has gone down hill.
Their cheap manager only gave me three pieces of chicken and the rest was beans and rice. I confronted her and told her can you please give me some more chicken and she blew me off and told that’s the measured amount everyone customers gets.
How is three pieces of chicken a measured amount? I suggest you go to the one on hammer lane it seems more cleaner compared to this one.

Although I always am impressed with El Pollo Locos fresh flavor I am even more impressed with the customer service at this location! I have only recently gone into the drive thru but the service was just as fantastic as if I had been inside. The girl at the window was genuine and nice. She was funny and friendly. The fish tacos were outrageously delcicious but what makes me want to return is the friendly treatment. Great food, great people :)

For dinner tonight I had «flame-​grilled chicken marinated
in special herbs, spices and citrus juices and then
flame-​grilled for flavor that’s deliciously different.»

Was dinner time. was hungry. Though, hey, I have a
buy a 2 pc dinner get a 2 pc dinner free at El Pollo! Being
on the east side of town I thought that I would have to drive
all the way to the one on east Hammer Lane. I turned the
corner onto Wilson Way from E. Fremont and guess what,
there was El Pollo right there in front of me! I was ready…
were they?
Yes they were. From the food to the friendly employees to
the clean restaurant and rest rooms.
I ordered the two 2 pc dinners… all breasts. Yikes, that gets
expensive fast but you get at least twice or more the amount
of meat. For sides I had mac and cheese. which was good,
spicy rice. which was ok and the smashed potatoes and gravy
which was NOT good. Yuck. Come on guys, there are better
instant mashed potatoes out there… explore a bit and upgrade.
The chicken was awesome. hot and juicy. Yeah, I almost had
too much to eat but since that was my only meal of the day, I
made it! ;)
Oh yeah, they have a salsa bar and one of the sauces on there
is a spicy avocado. It was yummy! I put that on just about
everything I ate. Just the right amount of bite. I don’t like it so
hot that my mouth and lips are burning and I can’t taste the food
but this was perfect.
It has been quite a while since I have been to an El Pollo, but it won’t
be that long till I go back!
