I love Doctor Mary Joseph! Especially compared to my sons last doctor (Trinh Vu). They make appointments for you and it’s super easy to get a hold of them if you need to change the time/​date or cancel. They remind you if you miss an appointment. No hassles. I’ve never waited longer than a half hour to be seen even on a walk in appointment. Only once when I was really late and they were out to lunch or something. The staff is so nice. The only thing is, I’m not sure if it’s standard or not, but when they give my son shots in his leg, they hold his legs down by putting them between their stomachs and the table. It seems like it hurts him. IDK. Other than that, I love it.

BAD: If you have an afternoon appointment expect to wait up to 3 hours or more before they take you back! This has happened to us twice now.
Do not expect the front desk staff to inform you that the Drs are behind and your scheduled appointment is null and void!
After 2 months of my 8 month old not being able to shake his congestion and cough I took him back in to see if it has progressed into something worse because he got a fever of 101.4 the night before. It was Dr Rojanavongse who saw him this time. She walked across the room when she came in then asked a COUPLE questions. She then came up with a diagnosis that my child has allergies to our animals. Really the animals he’s been around since May? SHE HADN’T EVEN TOUCHED MY CHILD YET! He had thick mucus, a fever, cough and was wheezing. I left irate at her easy, generic diagnosis.
The next week another baby at my sons daycare tested positive for RSV and was receiving breathing treatments. My husband took him back to Children’s Health Services… same Dr came in. She said she’s not testing him because he’s not showing symptoms. «He should’ve been tested the last visit.» She didn’t even realize it was her who saw him last visit. The next day another baby tested positive for RSV at daycare. But my baby couldn’t get the time of day at Children’s Health Services.
My child has Medical that’s why we brought him there. He has Medical because he is a FOSTER CHILD WE ARE ADOPTING!!! It’s a shame the lack of care children are receiving at this place! Very disgusting and pathetic that there are Doctors like Dr Rojanavongse at this place that are in practice.
GOOD: Dr Thompson is wonderful! I would go back just for him. He made us feel like our child is in good hands. Dr T is nice too.
