Stirling House Diner Seafood Pavilion

Being a long time resident in a neighboring town of SHDSP I’m quite familiar with the diner. They really did a fantastic job with their remodeling project, bringing the exterior and interior up to date. When friends visit from out of town I like to give them the true Jersey Diner Experience and bring them here for breakfast or brunch. Even when crowded, the service is fast and the food is very good. Thumbs up!

It’s more of a family place and I came here with my friend in a drizzly May Saturday morning. We were seated next to the window facing the Valley Road. We sat there, enjoyed our breakfast, sipped coffee and watched the beautiful landscape. It was a perfect morning — lazy and drizzly.
The restaurant was packed that day. So, the downside was we waited for a long time to get our food. But the service was good. The taste of the food is average and acceptable for a diner. Not super delicious but not bad either. The portion was large. I am a guy and ordered a 3-​egg (white) scrambled with Ham, Swiss and asparagus. It came with two slices of whole wheat toast and home fries. I ended up taking a quarter of it home and use the left over for another light meal. I would give a 3.5 star, but there is no such option. Based on the fact that I will bring more friends here to enjoy, I decide to give 4 instead of 3 stars. I am not related to this business. I did post a similar review on another website.

Clean atmosphere, attentive service, decent food. I had the beef gyro and a milkshake, kids had hot dogs and fries. Food came out quick and hot. One of the better diner options in the area.
