Mara Mi

Great place to chill and have some Izzy’s ice cream. Cute store for stationary and wedding invitation ideas.

This store is a combination coffee shop and stationary/​gift store. I think they do both very well! I would describe the store as fresh and clean. The Mara-​Mi greeting cards are very hip! They also have office and desk supplies which are cute, but still adult-​looking. You can also buy candles, phone cases, and leather goods. It’s a great store for browsing, and I would definitely stop here if I were in Stillwater!

Had coffee here with my wife. The staff was friendly and the coffee was excellent. They have an assortment of products from big names (Martha Stewart) and locals. Their stuffed animals seemed over priced, but their children’s books were adorable and reasonably priced.
They have an art studio on the upper floor. I was a little disappointed that we couldn’t go up and see it, but it’s fun to know the artists are working nearby.

We were in town for a wedding and we walked around Stillwater. One of my favorite things to do when I go back home to visit.
This was a new shop since the last time I had been around, and I stopped to grab a coffee. They had what looked like some amazing cupcakes, but we had just had lunch and I was too full. Coffee was good, I didn’t get anything fancy, just desperately needed caffeine.
Shop is cute, has lots of different things, in all price points.

We stopped by this store on our way to Wisconsin. It’s really a wonderful place. There is a good selection of invitation and party ideas. There’s a little area for cupcakes and ice cream too. The cookies were amazing. I would love to come back if I ever go to Minnesota again.

Amazing store! its huge compared to a lot of the Stillwater stores in downtown. Its also one of the newer ones too. I love the fact that’s its all white and clean cut there’s a coffee and snack area where they also ring up merchandise that you buy and tempting you with their cupcakes and ice cream. I was too full after a long dinner to try one but for sure next time around!
I did get a chance to browse around and pick up a few cute stationary items. The store reminds me of Typo in the Mall of America but instead Mara Mi has prices that are low mixed in with the high end things that cost a bit more. This is a great store for those who work in a office and need to spice things up a bit, or those who are having a wedding or baby because they have all the supplies you need to throw a great shower from invites to decorations!
Only downside would be living so far away from the store I did get a chance to see if they sell Mara Mi products else where it looks like Nordstroms carries a small selection SWEET

This would be the most hip and delicious coffee shop and bakery if it was in the heart of New York City. It’s an asotnishing find in Stillwater, MN.
The shop is great. It’s spacious and beautifully layed out; comfortable couch seating in the front with a communal table and individual tables for eating. The kitchen is open and you can see the delicious, homemade baked goods as they are made. The display is like a yummy art display, everything looks just so, and you want to stuff it in your pie hole.
The cupcakes are great. Moist and flavorful cake covered by a moderate amount of frosting. There are also cupcake lollipops that were great. The coffee was good, the ice cream was fantastic. Homemade with several inventive flavors– «cereal» was tasty.
