Very good as usual! Excellent fare with a nice range of selection.
I love that I can sub out a veggie and had another no questions asked!
Definitely recommend The Dragon!

They serve a variety of typical (Americanized) asian food. Tasty for someone like me, but not for those seeking only authentic food.
Though, I’m not a huge fan of some of their booths (specifically the second row from the north wall). The backs are so flimsy that it bends towards you when someone sits at the table behind you. That was pretty uncomfortable, so we moved to a different (sturdier) booth.

Can I give less than 1 star?
I don’t know what happened to this restaurant. It used to be good. NOT ANYMORE. I have ordered takeout from them several time, and each time was worse than the last. I thought «Hey, I’ll try them one more time.» I got the sesame chicken… safe bet… hard to mess it. It LITERALLY tasted like they rubbed a fish stick on my chicken. It was DISGUSTING.
If you do go here, coconut chicken and crab ragoon are the only things that taste fine each time. Their bubble teas are pretty good but I will NEVER order food from there again. BUYER BEWARE

Their food is delicious, but you better eat at the restaurant. You can order delivery via GrubHub or call in a pick-​up. If you do either one, then you better be prepared to wait… and wait… and wait… Any deliver will take a minimum of one hour, more likely an hour and a half or two. Any carry out order you will be told it will be ready in ten minutes but you should probably double or triple that. If you want to go, just get a table, order, and ask for to go containers when the food shows up; you’ll be out the door in far less time. I wish they cared as much about to go orders as they cared about people sitting in house.

I have tried all the asian-​american options in Stillwater, this is the best one in town. They have renovated since last we visited and looks much better and larger. The food was well presented, the plating was quite nice for the price of the entrees at lunchtime. We paid $ 6.95 each, I had the Orange chicken, and my wife had the Mongolian beef. Both were quite well prepared and the flavour was as expected for americanized asian cuisine. The included fried rice was very flavorful and without the weird carrot and peas mix you find in other places. A much better option to fast food!

I’ve enjoyed the golden dragon for years while on college. It’s probably the most authentic Chinese cuisine you’ll get in Stillwater. The food is hot and fresh and the staff is fast and courteous. My only drawback is the quality lacks in a few key areas. I’ve ordered delivery a number of times and often it arrives cold and late. One one particular occasion, the chicken was super dried out and flavorless. It was a strange thing as I’ve never had this problem from them before. I would suggest eating in for best results.
TL;DR: Good food, bad delivery, a little expensive.

I absolutely love this place. The portions are huge, everything tastes great, and food is always hot and fresh when I get it to go. I always get the Chicken Lo Mein or Sweet and Sour Chicken and some Cream Cheese Wontons, and then eat on it for 2 – 3 lunches in a row. Give it a try — you won’t be disappointed!

We had a delicious meal here. We are from Dallas and we saw this restaurant on Unilocal and the ratings are spot on! This food is delicious!

Great Chinese delivery. We haven’t ordered anything we didn’t like. We order via Grubhub and it’s always fast (and the one time it wasn’t, on a busy game day, they still made it inside the delivery window with hot food and were very apologetic).

Pretty bad. Maybe the best Chinese food in Stillwater, but that’s really not saying a lot.

LOVE LOVE LOVE their broccoli chicken! They also have amazing chicken egg noodles, rice noodles, and fried rice. Good left overs the next day.

We love this place! Portions are huge, flavor is spot on! The Hot and Sour soup is delicious! Everything tastes so fresh too!
We had a bubble tea and it was so much fun! The best part is that the staff was so attentive and kind. We are quickly becoming «regulars».

I usually love this place. The new interior looks fantastic! Unfortunately, I didn’t come here for the décor. To sum up the experience– the food was dissapointing, which was unfortunate because it took so long to get it, which was upsetting because we waited so long to have our order taken. We were completely ignored.
We ate our so-​so meal without drinks (our drink cups were empty by time we got our food) and without napkins. No refills on drinks, no napkins, no «how is the meal?» nothing.
Hire more and better help.
So sad to be writing this. I wanna love this place.

Favorite Asian in stillwater. pad Thai, spicy basil fried rice, and massaman curry are great.

Every time I’ve been to Golden Dragon, I’ve had an excellent dining experience! I’ve never eaten their Thai cuisine, but their shrimp lo mein is the best I’ve ever had! Their lunch menu is one of the best values I’ve ever seen, as it includes generous portions of soup, an egg roll or spring roll, various types of rice, and an entrée for less than $ 10. The lunch menu is a condensed version of their dinner menu, but you can hardly tell, as they have an extensive menu for both times! The atmosphere is nice and cozy, perfect for a date night… in fact it’s where my boyfriend took me for our first date! All in all one of my favorite local places in Stillwater!

So far the best chinese food in stillwater! their food is getting better and better since the first time I tried it. their sesame chicken is different from others and love the curry. Staff are friendly and they updated their place gives cozy feeling. will definitely come back for more chinese food! :D

This used to be my favorite place but wow. Tonight was awful. Terrible quality food. The orange chicken was so gross that I couldn’t finish it, and my rice was mush. The egg roll was the only good part, I’m so disappointed!

Pros: this place is truly an unexpected gem in this small college town. None of us had a bad meal. I had the pad Thai which is the equal of the best pad Thai I’ve ever had (Thai Gourmet in Houston, TX). So basically, the best pad Thai I’ve ever had! (Let’s keep in mind that I’ve been to Thailand and I don’t actually like the pad Thai there. So I probably only love Americanized style of pad Thai. Not authentic). The others got a red spicy curry, fried rice, and some kind of chicken dish. They have humongous portions (probably since catering to college crowd) for very reasonable prices! We had enough leftovers for 2 additional meals. Went with 3 hungry guys, so you can only imagine how much food that is. Plenty of parking, accepts credit cards.
Cons: watch yourselves, the food can get spicy. I got a ³⁄₁₀ and it was perfect. The fiancé got an ⁸⁄₁₀ and loved it. His brothers both got ⁴⁄₁₀ and it was too spicy for them. I didn’t personally sample their dishes, but they claimed it was as spicy as fiancés ⁸⁄₁₀. Sadly, we don’t have any business in Stillwater and can never come back. That makes me sad.

I used to like this place a lot but the quality has really changed. The curry is watered down, the breading is excessive to hide the low quality meat.
The remodeled restaurant however, is gorgeous. The staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and soothing.
But the food sucks; that’s the reason I go out to eat.

Off the top of my head, this is by far the best Chinese/​Asian restaurant in Stillwater. I was in town for work and got in about 8:30 one night. My sister and my first choice was Thai Café, but they closed early, so we went with Golden Dragon. I forgot how good it was! They have a huge selection of both Chinese and Thai dishes and everything I’ve had there has been good quality and delicious. We started out with some fried pot stickers, then my sister had the pad Thai and I had spicy Thai basil fried rice. Both were awesome and good value. We both had plenty of leftovers for another meal. Service was a bit slow, but I think they got a big push of to go orders right as we got there. It was nothing to be upset about though. If you want Chinese food in Stillwater, come here! It’s much better than the typical run-​down Chinese buffet or delivery place.
