I have been to this Rocky’s several times passing through Stevens Point and have always had good service and good food. They lost a star for not being able to do a full size pizza once for me and my family because they had a large preorder for an event to do — so expect that on occasion. They could earn it back if they offered Uncle Sals every day!

While the food did not disappoint, one angry and confused employee will make us rethink our pizza options in the future. A very simple take out order was taken by a woman who proceeded to vent her frustrations before taking the order. My husband said her attitude didn’t improve when he went to pick up the order. This employee isn’t doing much for the store’s customer service image.

during a recent visit back to my hometown, i thought to try one of my high school favorites — i was not disappointed in the least! i love a thick bread-​y crust though, and plenty of sauce. the tomato chunks in the sauce gave lovely texture and flavor and the balance of fixings (sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and onion for us) was perfect. i think rocky’s jumps up to the top of my list of favorite pizzas. too bad they don’t have any locations out in maryland.

I’ve always enjoyed the pizza at Rocky’s, for the last few years I usually just use the drive through and get the large «slice of the day» pizza to go. I like the large chunks of stewed tomatoes they have in the sauce here. And the pizza dough has a nice sweet flavor to it.
