Food-wise this place seemed to be fairly good. The broth was fairly clean, but I felt it was a little bland as in it could have used more flavorful. I also thought it could use a little more toppings rather than five pieces of meat(each kind) and a few strands of tripe. I got their lunch special which was the soup, summer roll, and a soda all for about $ 9. Price-wise it was a good deal. The restaurant itself looked clean. I noticed one guy as the main waiter. There was a female behind the counter, but did not seem to know how to speak English. I say this because I saw a customer go up to her to ask her about bubble tea and she could not answer and the main waiter paused taking an order to answer the question. I also saw maybe two? other people, but they mainly looked like they brought out the food. Service-wise, not sure what I did to possibly tick the waiter off, but after I ordered he didn’t say a word to me. I noticed around me that he thanked other customers for coming and brought them their checks when asked. For me. I was still eating with my spoon and chopsticks in hand when he dropped off the check and walked away. He made me feel rushed for no reason even though there were plenty of seats open. It’s not like I was there for a long time. He didn’t look happy when I asked him for more water nor when I asked for extra limes and jalepenos. Needless to say, just for the service, I will not be back. There are plenty of other phở restaurants I can go to for the same«ok» phở and better service.

I love this place! The service is great. Phở is good but love their Vermicelli dishes and crispy noodles. I am hoping they would accept online orders in the future.

This place is a needle in a haystack for the number of Oriental restaurants that offer phở in the loudoun county area. It’s usually quiet, great food, and very quick service with great pricing. I see people complaining about how they feel the people that work there are rude, I doubt that’s the case. They’re people from another culture and it’s most likely body language being misinterpreted or a language barrier because I myself felt that way until I came here I few times and got to know some of the people here. My only problem is I can’t stop coming here!

The food here is delicious. We love coming here for Phở and highly recommend it! However, service can be hit or miss — some visits, it’s great — other times, not too good.

I’ve had Vietnamese food from my Vietnamese coworker so this place is like my second experience of authentic Vietnamese food. I ordered the steak phở, chicken/lemongrass and shrimp vermicelli noodle, and fresh summer roll. All were cooked to perfection and super delicious… filled with flavor! I definitely recommend and will certainly be coming back!

they have a lunch special — any large phở except for the special, plus one fresh or fried roll, plus a soda = 8.99 = DEAL the phở broth was light and clean tasting, the noodles were just right(not overcooked), the tripe/tendon were fine but i like my ve don flank crispier the goi cuon was on the small side, but it had very little bun but was instead stuffed with lettuce — i actually liked it this way because it was extremely light

Always fresh, always delicious, always friendly and fast. The phó broth has good flavor along with the Vietnamese iced coffee and spring rolls. Just a great easy spot to drop in for lunch or dinner

I had phở with round of eye, flank, and fatty brisket. The meat was not fresh it looked and tasted like it was microwave. The broth was darker than what I usually see which possibly be that it’s old. The broth was overly sweet too. I could barely taste the beef broth. My husband ordered shaky beef which was off because they added potatoes and small amount of beef. The rice looked had a tint of yellow and brown which looks like to me that the rice has been sitting in the rice cooker for awhile. Oh I forgot to mention that the summer roll was a big disappointment as well. I found at least 4 noodles in there and the rest was stuffed with mostly lettuce and what happened to the pork? I can’t believe this place is rated four stars. I don’t think it’s a four at all for taste and experience.

Stopped by here for a quick dinner. I can start off by saying they do have a nice décor like the other reviews state. I wanted to try their phở but saw they had Bun Bo Hue(Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup) and had to try it. For those who don’t know bun Bo hue is a more flavorful spicier beefier version of phở. Personally I like it more than phở. Let me tell you, I’ve had bun bo hue lots of places around nova and theirs is one of the best. Also the waiter was very nice and polite. Will be returning to try more of the dishes on the menu

I’ve come to this place a few times and although the service and food is okay… It’s the closest Vietnamese food with many options. I just went today and it will be my last time. I have a son who is allergic to sesame, eggs, dairy and nuts. I know, it’s very difficult to go out to eat with him. I asked about some of their dishes if they had sesame in their marinade and the server looked at me blankly and says I don’t know, that’s the kitchen’s job. So I asked if he could ask the kitchen. Do I really need to ask him that? He came back and informed us that all of the marinades have sesame. Okay, that’s fine. Then I asked if their pad Thai could me made without sesame… He said no. That was it. He didn’t try and help with finding an option that could accommodate us. It’s already difficult dealing with the many allergies but for a restaurant to be so unhelpful was disappointing.

I eat here often since it’s near my house and I work from home. They know me by now and I love that it’s a quaint joint with quick service. I usually order the Phở Tai Chin(Phở with beef brisket and rib eye) as well as the veggie spring rolls and summer rolls. I love that it’s quiet enough that I can eat with my current book of the week and get some reading done or watch my latest show on Netflix while eating the delicious noodle soup. Seems family run which I love supporting as well. Definitely recommend!

I’ve had a lot of phở around nova and this broth is one of the best. I had a large dad biet and it gave generous amounts of noodles and meat. Can’t complain about anything

Had a late lunch here today. Ordered a large Phở Ga — with white meat. The soup came out fairly quickly and was steaming away. The plate of aromatic was very fresh: Basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños and lime wedges. Added all of the ingredients to the bowl. Tasted the broth — it was tasty, but it was a beef broth, which was disappointing. I’m thrilled when Phở joints take the time to make a delicious chicken broth for their Phở. Other than that, it was a good Phở Ga — chicken was very tender, although the amount was a bit on the skimpy side. Service was good.

Goi Cuon — 1 star. No meat besides shrimp. Poorly wrapped. Cheap and barely any lettuce used. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Major disappointment. If you want decent Goi Cuon, 5t Ice makes them surprisingly good. Bun Bo Hue — 1 star. Broth flavor was way off! IMO, it tasted like phở broth with sate sauce added. The meat selection was a mix of random cuts not used in typical BBH. Condiments used for BBH were for phở. Bean sprout, basil, and lime. If you’ve never tried BBH before, you may enjoy it. My standards must be way too high because I didn’t enjoy this at all. They really should take this off their menu. Go to Phở 102 for good BBH. Heck, if you are ever in Philly, check out Café Diem. They have the best BBH in the east coast. Phở — 2 stars. The broth was okay. The noodles were too al dente — not to my liking. The portion of a small bowl is the smallest I’ve seen in all of Metro DC. The new Phở Dulles 75 is a much better alternative. I was hoping this place would be good, but it ended up to be a big disappointment. I drove 30 mins to check out this restaurant due to mostly positive Unilocal reviews. Unfortunately, I would have to disagree with the majority of reviewers on this one. They have an extensive menu. I can’t speak about their other specialties. However, I’m not sure if I would be back any time soon to give it another go. The positives: Staff were friendly. Soups were hot. Clean environment.

My favorite! Fresh, hot tasty and authentic. Fast, clean and it’s around the corner from my house. Every cold rainy day one meal is eaten at this establishment. Family owned, the familiar faces create a warm comfortable environment. The chicken in the Phở is incredible quality and the broth is by far the most broad in flavor compared to the other Phở restaurants in the area. A must try!!!

Found a rubber-band in my phở, assuming it was from produce or something. Had to fight them just to take it off the bill. The chicken bahn mi is a hit or miss here. Sometimes it’s delicious and other times they forget key toppings.

Upon walking in this place, my husband commented«this is the nicest phở place I’ve ever seen.» He doesn’t eat phở nor is he a fan of much other than burgers or hot dogs with ketchup. So, there’s that. However, I will second that the décor was nice for a restaurant. It’s a cute little spot that offers Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. I think they specialize in Vietnamese food though so I wasn’t interested in trying their Thai food. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and the chicken vermicelli. The husband ordered the grilled chicken and rice. The fresh spring rolls were good but if you messed that up… you’d really suck because they’re easy to make. My vermicelli was too sweet… tasted like it was seasoned with lots of sugar. Good thing the noodles were plain because I needed it to cut the sweetness. The husband was happy with his meal and claimed that it was the best Vietnamese he’s had in awhile. First of all, let me tell you this man has a very serious sweet tooth and sometimes replaces all of his meals with cookies and ice cream. So… take that with a grain of salt. If you have friends who are new to the world of Vietnamese cuisine or are afraid to try different foods, this is a good place to pop their cherry. If you’re experienced, either try a different dish than I did or go somewhere else.

This is quite possibly the worst phở experience I’ve ever had. It’s painful to say because the owners were gracious and attentive, but the food itself simply isn’t up to par. I ordered the large bowl of regular phở(without meat) and it looked perfect upon arrival. Except for the extra cilantro I requested. No biggie! If the broth itself is tasty, we’re good. So I take the first spoonful and it’s somewhat sweet. This is before adding hot sauce and basil. OK. Sweet isn’t my preference, but it’s nothing a little hot sauce couldn’t fix. Well, that ended up being a lie. At this point starvation crept in, so regardless of how sweet the broth is, I’m eating it. I end up inhaling the entire bowl. Everything feels fine, we pay for our meal, then leave. Then I get home and enter the fiery pits of hell. Puking(along with a few other unpleasant side effects) ensue. I won’t get into detail because it’s simply gross, but let’s just say that the experience itself was so unpleasant… you couldn’t pay me to eat here again. Yes it’s harsh, but that was the worst reaction to food that I’ve ever experienced. I will remember this phorever. And ever. And ever. And I will never, will never, will never come here again.

Food was ok, seafood phở was pretty much overwhelmed with just noodles. My daughter liked her chic phở. Good variety menu for sure! One of the two servers was just rude! He acted like the manager or owner. The other server was really nice but couldn’t make a decision on his own when I needed a new soup Togo container because the first one was cracked!!! I mean come on! We will prob stick to our trusty super friendly Phở Royal!

Phở broth here is definitely different than other phở restaurants. I can’t explain it but it has a more deep taste? Anyways it’s different but greatttt! I love phở and I’ve been to almost all of the famous phở restaurants around this area but I think phorever is the one I best in Sterling area!

Just finished up our meal. My wife and I came here on a whim just to try someplace we’d never been to before. I rate my meal somewhere between«serviceable» and«not bad.» My wife calls her experience«mediocre.» What was good? The restaurant was decently clean. One of the 2 servers was pretty nice. The other was borderline rude; he didn’t seem to care much about our existence nor care about us until the very end when I had paid and given tip. The not so great? Tiny portions. The regular size phở was so small that my wife laughed when it arrived. Then, she proceeded to polished it off. By the way, my wife usually never finishes her phở, but had no issues here. My pork chop arrived about 10 minutes after my wife’s phở, just about when she was wrapping up her dinner. My pork chop was decent. The rice was very mushy, and the accompanying quiche and shredded pork were miniscule. Overall? Serviceable. This is the kind of joint you stop by every once in a while if you live in Sterling. But, this is no destination restaurant by any stretch of the imagination.

Came here with my husband for dinner and the food was good. I had phở with steak and 2 spring rolls. The food was not overpriced and it was fresh. I gave this place 2 stars because the service was really bad. There were 3 employees working that day and there was only one other table and ours, the server didn’t ask for our drink orders. He came out with our food fast but did not come by to refill our water, nor came to ask us if everything was fine. I had to walk up to the cash register twice to request refills on our water and the second time to get our check. All 3 employees were sitting around and no one bothered to see if we needed anything. I guess there not hurting for business because there customer sucks. I won’t be going back, there’s lots of other great phở places in the area.

We picked up a to go order tonight and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. We ordered a small order of Phở 61&63, Chicken and Vegetables, Chicken Pad Thai, a Grilled Pork sandwich, and a Combination sandwich. We ordered a bit too much food for dinner but we have leftovers for lunch. I highly recommend the phở and pork sandwich. Both were flavorful. The small phở is enough for one person meal but if you want to share a small consider ordering extra meat. We will definitely order from them again.

Pretty good Phở. Got the small 62 bowl with extra meat. Wish I would have ordered a meatball to go in it, as I wanted to try that. Also got some fried pork rolls which were a challenge to pick up with chopsticks, but I guess I just need to work on my skills. The broth had good flavor, but I added some siracha to it to spice it up a bit. Seemed to be pretty heavy on the cilantro, which I’m okay with. Decent meal for a decent price. Definitely one of the better options in the area.

This place is still as good as it was, when it first opened. I’ve recently discovered their Sate sauce. It’s delicious when combined with Hoisin sauce. They even gave me a little container of it to go, when I told them how good I thought it was. The chicken Phở is really good too. You can ask for dark meat only, so the meat is not dry. They also have fresh fruit smoothies(not from powder) that you can add Boba to. I talked to the owner today. She seemed really nice. Their prices are great, the restaurant is clean and you can go to Starbucks afterwards, which is right around the corner. Definitely give this place a try!

My Fiancée and I are obsessed with Phở. We have tried about 12 places in this area but this was our first time at Phorever. It is hard to exactly rate places, but in the grand scheme of things, Phorever is definitely near or at the top(the other real close contenders are Super Phở and Phở Sate if you’re willing to drive far). The broth was particularly rich. Maybe a bit more fat than some others but only barely. And nice and clear. Also, some of the sauces on the side were particularly good. They had a lemongrass sauce we really liked. Probably not intended for Phở but good regardless. If I had to nit-pick, my biggest complaints would be that the noodles were in more of a clump and that the menu didn’t offer additional side meats(or I missed it and it did). Either way, I still gave them a solid 5 stars. So, overall, Phorever will now be in our rotation of regular Phở places. And maybe we’ll branch out and try some of the other things from their diverse menu! Oh, and our server was very friendly and the atmosphere was clean.

Dear Phoever, You have ruined phở for me «phoever». I now can’t eat it anywhere but at your fine establishment. Haha. Hands down the best phở I’ve ever had. Blows away all other phở joints in the area. I’ve had a couple of their man dishes as well and have no complaints. This place is definitely worth a trip if you’re looking for a great bowl of phở or in the mood for Vietnamese.
