I ordered a greek salad and i got a really stale pile of God knows what with expired lettuce a old cucumbers. They put the wrong dressing in the greek salad. Then my soup was super sour. I love panera bread but today was the worst lunch ive ever tasted. They need better quality control at the Sterling location. 20 bucks worth of food down the drain.

I just recently started to come here for breakfast and I love it, there are so many options to choose from: bagels, muffins, oatmeal, smoothies and some really good sandwiches and mostly healthy as well I haven’t eaten anything from the lunch/dunner menu as of yet so I can only speak for the breakfast items but there are alot of lunch dishes that I want to try for myself so hopefully I will be trying some soon The staff has been nice and even humorous at times up to this point so I haven’t had any problems with them, this a go to breakfast spot for me

I eat here at least once a week. Service is pleasant and food is consistent, but the standout employee is Bo. He graciously clears tables, always smiles and has a kind word. Bo is a real asset this location!

I’ve been to this location twice, once to eat in and once for a carry out order. Both times the service was friendly, the order was accurate, and the food was tasty. The seating area was not overly crowded and was comfortable. Parking was easy. I highly recommend this location.

Not sure what has happened with Panera. Menu is different and sandwiches are just lacking. Nothing special, just Ok. Definitely not worth the price anymore. Nothing against this particular shop, I think Panera needs to reevaluate the menu or it will see sales drop, if they ha e not already. Pretty sure we will not be back.

Pros: Staff very friendly and professional. Place is clean enough. Never had issues with crowding or waiting that long. I’ve used their online ordering and phone ordering and it seems they respond to it pretty quickly. Cons: The Cobb salad with avocado is my go to, but I never know what kind I am going to get. Specifically, BACON. The last two times I have ordered this to go, there has been no bacon in it. It sounds ridiculous, but when I get home and it’s not there I feel shorted and the whole ride home I am just wondering if my meal will be complete this time. This is not a threat just a statement, but just having that feeling of unreliability is incentive enough for me to look at alternatives. For 99% of people who go there, I am sure that they will be pleased.

This location is near my house, but I don’t think I’ll be visiting again anytime in the foreseeable future. I went here yesterday and brought my out of town brother in law, sister and mother with me. We came to get a bite to eat before our lunch later in the afternoon. When we entered, the line and counter area were empty. We all stepped aside to view the menu and decide on our orders. A very rude woman in the bakery section yelled whoever is next I can take your order. We politely informed her we were still deciding, and continued to make sure the line behind us was clear and unblocked for any new customers. My mother wanted to order a quiche. She inquired if the quiches were still available. She was rudely informed by a surly young woman that the quiches were finished for the day. Once my brother in law and sister decided to order, they placed their orders at the register. My brother received his order within 5 minutes. After 15 minutes, my sister asked where her order was. She was informed it was and had been waiting at the other end of the restaurant She was not given a buzzer to alert her of the order being ready and no one called her name or took the time to notify her. She was so disappointed to have to eat cold oatmeal. I am really irritated and upset by the treatment and service provided at this location. I don’t think Panera has a poor reputation but this location could certainly help it earn such recognition unless the staff is retrained soon! If you are not a morning person, please don’t work Sunday mornings and treat customers rudely.

I worked at panera for about 2 years so I really appreciate a good panera when I visit one, and this one in Sterling was outstanding! The staff was knowledgable and friendly. My complicated order was made perfectly and the man who was in the dining room was just wonderful! I didn’t see a single dirty table or stack of dishes the entire hour I was there. These are things you learn to appreciate after working at the same chain. I had to give the staff credit that they are doing a great job!

I had an awesome experience at this Panera location. The manager on duty was awesome and suggested that I try adding quinoa to the strawberry poppyseed salad since I love the salad but don’t eat chicken, and it was fabulous! The rest of the staff was extremely nice and helpful as well. Plenty of seating, including a great outdoor seating area in the shade. Highly recommend!

Seriously used to love coming here until I met the new staff that has been hired recently. They were SO rude to me today. I showed up ten minutes before closing and only wanted to get a bowl of soup for my daughter. They wouldn’t let me in and said that they were closed, even though the doors were open and customers were clearly there, eating. It was apparent that they were NOT closed but just didn’t feel like serving a loyal customer. The entire time I stood there they were just hanging out talking to each other inside the store! Such a complete waste of my time. I’ll be sure to go somewhere else that has polite employees, better customer service and wants to accept my money. Sheesh.

Like the format here better than starbucks Pros * bakery on site * help yourself coffee. Bottomless * more space Cons * restroom needs to be refreshed. Feels like a rest stop * coffee staging area is cramped * free wifi but a note says 30 min limit during peak hours. Not sure if enforced

I think I came just after the lunch hour rush and they were trying to catch up. Dirty tables and stuff were throughout the place, but overall the food was decent, what you would expect for a Panera. I think the place was just a bit short staffed to keep up.

Went here for breakfast last weekend. They had ONE person working the cash register, grabbing pastries, etc., doing all of the up-front work. On a Saturday morning. You know, when a ton of people grab breakfast out on the go during their morning errands. Finally, the manager emerged from the back and opened another register. He was very helpful and helped me customize a sandwich the way I wanted it – sausage, cheese, avocado, egg whites on whole grain bread. I also tried both of the new smoothie flavors available at Panera(super fruit and their version of a green monster — both good, neither as good as their mango). When I got my sandwich, it was missing the sausage. The coffee was super old. The time on the dispenser said it was already an hour old when I got it, but the flavor overall just wasn’t good. I’ve never thought Panera had the best coffee, but this was the worst I’ve ever had at one. It was a serviceable breakfast with some good parts and some bad parts in terms of the food and drink. But the bad parts, coupled with the supremely long wait that is uncharacteristic of the Panera Bread chain, makes this location one that still needs a lot of improvements.

I seriously don’t know where these bad reviews are coming from. I’ve always had a good experience every time I come here. The staff is always nice and attentive. Today they held a tasting event where we tried the new summer salads and the new summer corn chowder. The strawberry chicken salad has fresh strawberries and pineapples with seasoned grilled chicken. The chilled soba noodle salad with shrimp was decent. Although I don’t like shrimp, it was good without it. Overall I think the event was good. A lot of people turned out for it. We got to pull and score our own mini loaf of bread and learn a little about how to bake their classic French baguette. It was really affordable(only $ 5 a person). I hope they do more of these for other items on their menu.

This is a brand new location, and it shows a bit in the service. The food quality is up to par with other Panera locations, so nothing to complain about there. The staff seems a bit inexperienced, but hopefully it gets better with time. I did see a customer or two having to wait at the ordering counter for a couple minutes while no staff were there to take their orders(Wed night, normal dinner time). Granted, they had maybe 5 – 6 staff there total at the time, but you should always be aware of customers. Overall, an interesting layout(feels a bit tight), but not bad. Will probably go back for quick bites.
