We had Home Network Solutions out to give us a quote for a home theater on the recommendation of a neighbor who was happy with the work they did for them. We’re so happy we did– the professionalism, knowledge, and high-​quality work they perform really sets them apart, and we couldn’t be happier with our new theater.
Bonnie helped us to schedule our consultation and the installation, and she was terrific with quick responses and great information during the entire process. Lew arrived promptly for our scheduled consultation. He spent about an hour with us while he looked at the space and got to know how we were planning to use the space. I was instantly impressed with him– he was knowledgeable, he gave clear explanations on what work would need to be done and what the process would entail, and he was very upfront with us about our options. Most importantly, I found him to be trustworthy. Home theaters are often very expensive, and he didn’t try to upsell us on new technologies or state-​of-​the art systems. He recommended a cost-​effective solution that would give us a high-​quality theater without also asking us to spend tens of thousands of dollars, which other contractors wanted to do. He was also very open to us providing some of our own equipment if we had it or could find it at a lower price than he could. We had some existing equipment we wanted to incorporate, and he was very happy to install what we provided. Additionally, while looking at our home’s wiring, he noted that we were set up for whole-​home internet but had not activated it. He was able to install a switch for us that allowed us to activate all of our ethernet outlets (which brought some of our equipment off wifi and greatly improved speed and connectivity for the whole home), and it barely added to the cost of the project.
The installation was incredible smooth and ultimately took less time than we were quoted. Lew and Dave were on time every day, and they were clean and respectful of our home (and the fact my husband’s home office was just on the other side of the wall where they were installing the screen and speakers). They also were great with communicating their progress and explaining where they were in the process. The finished product is incredible– the sound is outstanding, the picture quality is beautiful, and we’re enjoying the theater every day.
One additional note– although we paid our balance when the work was done, Bonnie followed up the next day to let us know there was a math error that resulted in us paying about $ 50 more than we owed. They sent us a refund check immediately. I wouldn’t have ever figured that out, but the fact they checked their math and were honest about finding an error in our favor was yet another reminder we picked the right company for the job. Honesty and integrity are hard to find, and Bonnie and Lew are truly honest people.
