Not sure why the reviews so so bad here. I stop in almost 3 – 4 times a week between 715 – 730. The line is always long but, what can expect when that is the prime time for people to get coffee and donuts. Anyways, the ladies who work there are really nice, I see the know most of the regulars orders down. Usually there is only 2 people working but, if there were a 3rd or even a 4th they might be able to move the line a little quicker at most, it is a 10 minute wait. I don’t think people who are late to work should be mad if they go somewhere and there is a long line. I will keep coming here because my coffee is always good and the donuts/bagels are fresh.

Tried to over charge for my purchase when the sign clearly says a cheaper price. I’m in from out of town so I won’t be back but I advise you save yourself the time and pick a different location.

Me and my mom came here one morning before heading to work. When we walked in, near the counter and back, the floor was near flooded(I’m guessing from the bathrooms?), which I think should be cleaned up immediately. All the did was put the caution sign out, and toilet paper(not even paper towels) down on the floor, which made it look even more dirty. Everyone just kind of had to find a dry spot to stand in to place their order. Most importantly, their donuts were not good. Were not fresh at all. Wont be going back to this location.

your typical dunkin donuts. Good donuts fast service. Place was clean.

Ordered breakfast sandwich and hash browns. Sandwich was ok, they gave me 6, yes, six hash browns! 7 dollars better spent at Chick Fillet!

The worst dunkin i have been to! The staff seem grumpy and disinterested in what they do or they just don’t give a sh*t! They are always out of stock on the bagels and donuts. I was served the worst iced latte! I somehow prefer dunkin over Starbucks… but this one is a big NONO!

DD has lost it reputation. Stopped in late Saturday morning for coffee and donuts. Racks were bare, no offerings. The quiet employee said they weren’t making more. Coffee was stale.

I am so incredibly disappointed by my experiences with this dunkin’. Don’t get me wrong, the food is the same as any other dunkin, however, I’ve had an issue with the staff being incredibly lazy.

I hadn’t set foot in this Dunkies in 5 years but… today we wanted to get a couple of doughnuts to have with our tea. Thinking about my previous experiences here, I reluctantly went. After all, who knows? In 5 years time the place could have improved. If only… I went on a Thursday around 3:30 p.m. The place was so dead that it looked closed from the outside. Only after I got inside, did I notice a man sitting at a table drinking his coffee. The clerk emerged from the back and approached me. She was friendly and appeared to know what she was doing. I looked at the racks that held the doughnuts and other assorted goods(bagels, croissants and muffins) and noticed that it was just about picked clean. I asked if that was all they had in the place. She said«yes». Let me tell you, it was pitiful. There were about 6 «holiday doughnuts» which were supposed to be star-shaped but I never saw a 4-pointed star before. They had blue frosting on them with snowflake sprinkles and a Boston cream pie like filling. So… I got one for myself and looked at the rest of the dismal selection. What I saw was a handful of «munchkin» doughnuts, about 3 muffins, 2 bagels and about 6 croissants. The clerk told me that there was 1 jelly doughnut left. I didn’t notice it as nothing was labeled and it was hidden. Okay, I’ll take that one. Two doughnuts cost $ 2.10 Silly me! Here I went to a shop called Dunkin Donuts and expected to find a good number of doughnuts. What was I thinking? To be that low on doughnuts with hours to go before closing… well…that’s just inexcusable. I miss the days when Dunkies made the doughnuts on the premises. That way, if they noticed that they were running low on a particular variety, they could just make another batch. Maybe in another 5 years I’ll come back here but… not likely.

I went in this morning to get my family breakfast and I ordered 4 breakfast items. The lady didn’t tell me she was charging me combo meals(which come with hash browns I didn’t need) and when I saw the receipt I saw the charge for the hash browns. I work in customer service and I figured they are having a busy enough morning so I won’t say anything and just take the(nasty) hash browns. When I got my order there were no hash browns at all so then I complained. I told the guy I had 4 orders of 6 piece hash browns and then I told him I wanted to cancel that order and just charge what I had. For some reason the lady who took my order refused to refund my money and tried to get me a drink or donuts instead. I said no thanks if you won’t refund just give me the hash browns and we’ll call it a day. I was already pissed off enough and then on top of all the bull crap I had to wait for them even though they were being held in the oven warmer… not even cooking just being kept warm and the lady came and saw me twice standing there and didn’t even acknowledge my presence… wtf? So I had to interrupt one of the other employees and he told her… wow… and when I got home the hash browns were soggy and nasty. Not good at all… not going back!

If I could give it a 0-star I would. This location needs to be trained and taught how to make their own drink

Rounding out my visits to the two DD locations in the Herndon/Sterling area. Same experience at both. Parking lot at the Sterling location slightly less maddening than the Herndon location, but cramped layout and tight pick-up area at both. Staff/service issues rampant with all DDs in the area, especially here. See my Herndon review for my pontificating as to how Dunkie’s could take the throne from Starbucks if they could only fix a few things… Anyway, ordering a «Latte Lite» is maddening. Why even have a sugar free/nonfat milk latte ONTHEMENU if when every time I order one, you ask me what kind of milk I want and how many sugars? And don’t roll your eyes at me when i emphasize nonfat milk and no sugar… Using a preloaded gift card here was also a hassle; took a few employees to try before it went through as payment, which slowed down food and drink prep for fellow patrons(sorry…). Not much else to say about Dunkie’s except for it’s a stop-gap caffeine/breakfast sandwich fix when there aren’t any Starbucks or locally owned shops in the immediate vicinity.

very rude service, long lines and the employees don’t care and just keep chatting away knowing the line is extending out the door.

Simple as you can get. Walked in got a dozen doughnuts and a box o joe to go. The staff was friendly. It was a little buys at 7:00 am. I’m sure I pissed people off as I took up all the coffee for my box. Oh well not my fault. Parking can suck, so just be aware.

I’ll start by complimenting the friendliness. The guy who helped me out was nice. Now to the real story. I ordered a medium mocha coolatta and it was gross. It tasted like frozen chocolate milk. All I can say is, never again.

I guess I should give them two stars because usually my order tastes good(USUALLY) and nothing disgusting has happened here, but OMG this location drives me crazy. First and most annoying, around 9 am it obviously gets very crowded yet the employees seem to ignore the fact that there’s even a line and do everything in SLOWMOTION. I know it’s probably not the most thrilling job but can you at least pretend to notice that there are people waiting? Second and slightly annoying, this might just be a DD thing, but they ALWAYS assume I want an iced coffee and sometimes input it as iced coffee automatically. I guess it’s summer, but since when did iced become the default? Third and also slightly annoying, they get the size of my order wrong a lot and just give me/charge me for a medium coffee when I ask for a large. Also there used to be a really nice happy and friendly woman who worked here but I haven’t seen her in a while. I hope she’s still there because she was the best thing about this location!

I guess the best way to describe this place is as a Dunkin’ Donuts(shocker i know). The store its self seems to be in good condition and relatively new. Really my only complaint is the quality of the donuts you get in the evening. I know its mostly a morning thing but you would expect them to have something slightly fresh for evening shoppers.

Thirding stale donuts. Surprisingly not too crowded on free iced coffee days. Hash browns were okay, a bit too heavy on the olive oil but the basil was a nice touch. Ketchup improved them as expected, though I had to raid the work fridge for the condiment. Bacon & egg wake-up wrap was light on the cheddar cheese and only toasted on the inside; more failed quesadilla than typical sandwich wrap. Clearly I should have aimed for the ham or sausage ones my coworker brought, but lo, I picked the wrong day to not double-fist freebies. Similarly, the iced mocha swirl was more bad milkshake than coffee sweet-treat. May as well go next door and get a flatbread sandwich instead, then fight your way out of the sardine can parking lot.

I’ll echo Susan H. I have had multiple bad experiences at this particular DD location. Stale donuts, stale muffins, poorly made drinks, breakfast sandwiches served cold on incredibly stale bread. How hard it it to make a donut or a drink? This place fails at its only mission. The only thing saving this place from a one star review is the coffee.

Stopped in here this morning at 6:40 am to snag some donuts for the office — I had to go in earlier than I normally do — so I thought it would be nice to spring for breakfast. I ordered two dozen donuts: six glazed, 3 with Maple icing, 3 with Apple filling and cinnamon coating, 3 chocolate with sprinkles, 3 strawberry jelly, 3 jelly, and 3 Bavarian Crème filled donuts. I was disappointed they had zero French Crullers — I would have gotten six of those if they had them. The donuts were average — nothing exciting — I had a glazed and an Apple filled donut. The two ladies working the counter were fast and efficient.
