I was very pleased with the food. I got the beef kafta and chicken kafta kabob, a small fatoosh feta and a cup of garlic. Very good. Would definitely go there again.

The rudest service ever. Got violently talked down at for asking for my empty over dried sandwich to be re made. They took two hours for a carry out. The owner is a violent disgusting asshole who doesn’t give a flying crap about making a customer happy. Everything was burnt. Dried out and I will never return. Let this place die.

This place was as good as the reviews said it would be! I had the mixed grill and it was and is delicious. Currently eating leftover, there is enough for me and a small army! My hubby got 2 sharwma and loved them. We did follow some other reviews and went in to place an order due to English barrier but when we walked in realized those reviews were WRONG! You can call with NO problems. My only bitch? The bread. I was so sad to see the bread. Maybe I’m use to La Saj bread? Maybe they ran out? The girl up front kept running over to the market a few doors down and buying their pita? Idk. For their garlic sauce to be SOOO damn good and bread to suck soo damn bad just plain sucked! Oh and also, don’t go by Maps with the address, it’s across the street in the strip mall, right at Fox Hill. I used my Maps coming from 15 minutes away and ended up completely lost! We will be back. Hopefully that have better bread. Please!!!

I didn’t think I was a fan of chicken shawarma until I had it here. Great sandwich and great value. Like others have said, the fattoush salad is very good, best I’ve had. I also like their lemon rice soup. Pros: quick service, good prices, staff seems friendly Cons: on more than one occasion I couldn’t get through via phone to place a carryout order. More my issue than theirs, but I’m also not a fan of being directed to the tip jar while picking up my carryout order. I’ll give benefit of doubt that these were isolated instances.

Kabob hut is true to its name, the place is TINY. Most people order carry out, but if you choose to eat in the service is polite and attentive. My go-to is their sandwich lunch special: a shawarma sandwich, a salad or soup, and a can of pop for only a couple bucks. Both their fatoush and tubbouli are great, way better than most restaurants. Their shawarma sandwich seems a bit greasier than before the change in ownership but still good. Good price, good service, good food. If you’re looking for a quick affordable meal this place has it.

I’ve been working at shop down the street from this establishment. For three weeks we’ve been ordering take out from here for lunch between 2 – 6 people and every time the food has been exceptional and at a far price. A medium chicken Fattoush salad is more than enough for me, with the extremely generous portion of chicken that is include. I’ve tried some sandwiches that are not on the menu but you can order. If you’re torn between chicken or meat shawarma; try the mixed shawarma, and make it a super as well for extra goodness. The Falafel is some of the best I’ve had and the kibbe was excellent as well. If your looking for some of the best food around you should try Kabob Hut, granted I’ve never dined in; just take out.

This is some of the best middle eastern food in the area. The portion sizes are very generous. I can get 2 – 3 meals out of one of the entrée or share with my 2 kids. I noticed other places(I won’t name names) becoming cheap and reducing portion sizes, yet charging more. Kabob Hut has fair prices, better quality, better food, the staff is super friendly.

This is a small restaurant but really packs a punch! I go here religiously for the falafel sandwich. The staff is always friendly, the prices are excellent and the food is killer. What more can you ask for?

This place simply has great food. We got the grilled chicken and Lamb Chops last time. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. The lamb chops were a lil fatty IMO, but not to the point of diminishing any of the flavor. The décor is very simplistic, it seems like a large amout of their business is carry out, so it works. May be my go to Mediterranean spot.

This was a hole in the wall restaurant that my Husband and I found through Unilocal. And boy were we so happy we did! The restaurant is pretty small, but probably seats up to probably 30 people max, so I wouldn’t recommend for a very large group. They had a lot more carry out orders come through than customers who sat in. When you are first seated, you’re served pita bread and garlic paste(my favorite). Hummus is separate but well worth ordering. My Husband was extremely satisfied with their hummus and kept raving about it after we left. The first time my Husband and I were here, I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and my Husband got the deboned chicken lunch special. They were both very amazing! It reminded me so much of Pita Café in Oak Park. My family went to Pita Café and many times when I was younger and it’s been difficult to find a restaurant that makes excellent chicken shawarma sandwiches and has the white rice with almond slivers. My Husband and I came back yesterday since it was on our way home and I tried the lamb chops and he got the chef’s special dinner, which included deboned chicken, hummus, and rice. The lamb chops were amazing and they served a large portion, 5 pieces. I had to bring half of it home, but was so happy since they were great. Unfortunately, my Husband wasn’t too pleased with the chef’s special dinner. The chicken was drier than it was last time. He wished the waitress had asked if he wanted white or dark parts of the chicken. He really enjoyed it the first time he had it, it was so juicy and flavorful, but this time it was dry. I’m giving it 4 stars because overall their food is amazing and service has been great both times we were there. I would have given 5 stars if his deboned chicken dinner was consistent to the first time he has it. They serve such large portions of everything! I highly suggest it for anyone in the area!

The amount of food you get here for the price is unbeatable! Not only is the price and portion great, the food is amazing. Combo dish for 2 – 3 has fed 6 people before. It’s one of the best Mediterrean foods you will get hands down! Place is always packed during lunch hours so make sure you call ahead if you want a carry out!

This is the worst place I have ever been to the owner told me to make a Unilocal account to leave him a good review. Why would you ask somebody to create an account to leave you a good review. Well here you go Mr. kabob hut your review.

Food: The food is absolutely excellent. We had the Combo Plate and it offered a good selection. The portions were also large, but not at the expense of quality. The garlic sauce and hummus with pita bread were an excellent way to start off the meal. I had a strawberry, mango, and banana smoothie and it was also delicious as well. Between the food and service, this restaurant is highly recommended and definitely worth visiting. Rating: 5 stars Service: The service was very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Rating: 5 stars Atmosphere: The décor is intended to be more functional and there were many customers picking up take out orders. Rating: 3 stars Location: The restaurant is in a suburban strip mall and the location and parking are convenient. Rating: 3 stars

Amazing! The best middle eastern food I ever ate. We got the combo that feeds 2 – 3 people. It could have fed like 6. So much delicious and fresh food. The prices are so reasonable too. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and pretty much have since I ate there.

I go to Kabob Hut practically every day for lunch. This place is my fucking shit, fam!!! Mike is my god damn bro and I love everyone who works there. They accept me for who I am even though they know I am an alternative culture freak. Most of the people who work there know me by name and my order. Very accommodating. They fuck my orders up regularly but I don’t care cause they’re nice. It’s like Cheers but no one is an obvious alcoholic. I’m not sure if anyone who works there has a drinking problem. Maybe. Anyway, like I said this place is sick and inky babies are more than welcome.

Normally I go to the Kabob Hut but they were closed last night forcing me to try out their competitor next door, the Beirut Palace. It’s not fair to say it’s their competitor as the Kabob Hut is leagues ahead of their neighbor. I always get the fattoush salad, which comes with a huge portion of chicken, triple that the Beirut Palace. They always remember the garlic sauce and to put the salad dressing on the side. They are always friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. I’m sorry I cheated! I’ll be back, I swear!

Super good. Loved the garlic and pita, love that they’ll give you more. Place seems to have lots of military and cops — always a good sign. Had the lentil soup, falafel sandwich, fries and shwarma. Not my normal order, but they dont have what I get usually. $ 15 for everything and we had lots of leftovers. Soooooo glad I found it on Unilocal. Thanks friends!

Yep… back again, yes it is that good!
