We usually will order carry out here as an office. Which is great, it’ll be ready for pick up in 15 minutes. They have a great menu for breakfast and lunch; nothing fancy. Just your average corner diner. I’ve never been wow’ed, but I’ve also never been disappointed with my omelette, sandwich, or salad.

The food is homemade style cooking. The women who own this place show confidence when they bring your food to the table. They know they put out a good product and they are proud of it as they should be. My sister ordered the homemade chicken pot pie. It came with the lovely dollop of homemade mashed potatoes on top. Dad and I ordered the lemon rice soup and half a Reuben. It was very delicious and served hot. We will be back again.

Best. Rueben. Ever. For real. They make they’re OWN rye bread and pike it high and deep with tender slow cooked corned beef. I also had the Mac & cheese which was amazing. The cream of mushroom soup made my eyes roll back in my head. Everything is homemade! Seriously. This is not a greasy spoon diner. This place is better than grandmas!

Great service. The portions are big and they use delicious crusty bread! Homemade chips with an order. Good value for the price. I love diners such as Cozy Corner — a little slice of old fashioned hospitality.

Love this place it’s so close by and the food is great. I enjoy going there for breakfast. The thing I love most though is their awesome staff who are some of the most friendly people! I thrive on good customer service and this place definitely has some! Only thing I wish is that they would update the interior a bit and bring in back into this century but that doesn’t stop me from going there

Best Coney Island! The name has changed, it’s now called Cozy, but the food and the prices are still amazing! The wait staff are all very sweet and professional. I admit, for a long time I avoided the place — I found hair in my food just one too many times. But you’ll be happy to know they have fixed that problem :) I grew up in Detroit/Hamtramck, and the food & staff remind me of the restaurants of my youth. They make you feel like family! So basically it’s great food + great prices + great service. What more could you want? For a small restaurant tucked away in a strip mall, it sure is a gem!

This place has since changed their name to ‘Cozy Corner’. The food is great and the portions are huge! I’ve never eaten inside but I like the homy feel this place evokes. All the employees are attentive and friendly. We order breakfast here almost every Monday and since we do so, they know us by name because our order hardly ever varies! lol! You can never go wrong with eggs, sausages, hash browns and toast! My favorite meal from here by far is the chicken pot pie. It doesn’t look like a ‘pie’ but it’s got a delicious crust and the filling is piping hot and delicious, chicken and veggies tender and perfectly flavored every time. If you’re more of a burger and fries kind of person, their burgers are gigantic and will fill you up, no lie. The fries are delicious as well. I haven’t any idea when they first started out but I hope they never come to an end! Good food, reasonable price, friendly people, convenient location: what’s not to love?

As far as hole in the wall diners go, this one is the best. Not only is it convenient in location for me, Tina, the owner is incredibly nice and the food is good. It beats going to Big Boy or a Coney Island. They have soups, salads, gyros, pot pie, sandwiches, etc. They also serve breakfast anytime. The prices are really low and the portions are generous. My husband’s parents have been going there for years. If you’re in the area(say, at the Kmart or Hallmark next door or Krogers across the street) stop by! You won’t be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I went Nosh’s Family Diner and it was a big hit. We both love a good diner, and Nosh’s delivered. Something about this diner was special. Many have delicious food served in enormous portions and reasonable prices, but the atmosphere here was a little unusual. Pictures of Nosh’s descendants(presumably) are on display all over the place, mixed with a Greek-American theme, and a shrine to Mother Mary in the back corner. If my grandmother had opened a diner and decorated it with all the glass figurines from her tchotcke cabinet, it would basically be Nosh’s. And it wasn’t a bad thing; there was something quirky and endearing about it. The only forewarning I have is to avoid going there around Sunday brunch hour, a lot of old people started pouring in(regulars I’m sure) and the waitresses were busy. But I’ll definitely want to go there again next time I’m in town.
