The food is amazing and well thought out. I have eaten here several times in less than two months. It is consistent and always a good experience. I brag about this place to my friends all of the time. Leo, the owner has a great story and has thought out his aproach. What a TREAT! I hope this place is here to stay. Yummy!

The ribs were burnt, fatty, and tasted terrible. The beans were even worse. With all the great places to eat in Steamboat, skip this one.

The food was good, but pretty much everything else was lacking. The whole place feels forced and gimmicky. The menu is riddled with typos and clearly wasn’t written by a native English speaker. I won’t go out of my way to come back, but I wouldn’t avoid it either. There are better options for an all-around enjoyable meal

On vacation in Steamboat, we needed a filling dinner. The restaurant was barely occupied, but we took a seat anyway. The ambience was nothing special. The menu is short, but adequate. The sandwiches and platters all looked good. We all tastes the ribs, bison burger, brisket, and turkey. The meats were all cooked very well, they were all tender and juicy. The BBQ sauces on the table were decent(Bourbon — was overly sweet, Habenero — was just spicy enough, we didn’t try the Sriracha Ginger). The meats were served with a very thin coating of sauce, allowing you to taste the meat or dip as you prefer. The French fries were good — the sweet potato fries were nothing to write home about. Serving sizes were generous. A full bar is around the corner. Service was prompt and food came out quickly. We would return if we needed another night of BBQ.

We had an awesome experience here! IVAN was our server, I highly recommend him! He has suburb customer service! Everybody at the restraunt was super friendly including the bartender. The food is delicious! I can recommend what we had, which was the philly, the bison/buffalo burger, and the burnt ends sandwich. As far as sides: sweet potato fries are seriously perfect & the beans are delicious! They have 3 bbq sauce options and they are labeled on the table. They have a large selection of drinks. They have something for everybody. If your looking to go a cheaper route, you can make that happen. If your looking for a higher end meal, they have that as well. We were looking for the not so expensive route and for four meals and 3 alcohol beverages our total came to $ 60, not bad at all! Great atmosphere, great bar, great décor & a great experience! We left extremely satisfied! P. S. This is definitely a 5 star restraunt, check out the«posts not recommended for review» and you will clearly see that multiple people have put this down as a 5 star restraunt!

Go here and drink the pineapple jalepeno basil infused margarita. Leo knows what he is doing and the drinks are incredible!

Barbecue was definitely filling, but needs sauce to make it good. I enjoyed my 4 rib bones with cole slaw and fries. Just add barbecue sauce, and it’s good. Price point is good as well.

I have to say. The BEST ribs in Steamboat. every other place I’ve been to requires some extensive chewing for their ribs… But not here Just peeling off the bones… ANYWAYS…I still DoNot understand why Coleslaw is such a hard thing to accomplish out here… I have not had any decent Coleslaw anywhere… oh and the South uses real newspaper not fake Irish papers… I do not think Irish and«Texas» BBQ really coincide. maybe I got the wrong paper

There’s bad BBQ and really bad BBQ. This place is the latter. Upon entering, the smell of hardwood smoke was telling me this might be good. My wife, boy and I were the only ones in the place at 11:45, not a great sign. We were greeted by a very knowledgeable server, who knew the menu very well, but was a bit slow for service. The menu was interesting. They were trying to be a bit edgy, which I understand, but try to get the BBQ thing down before you go outside the box. I ordered the brisket, which if it is good, you can usually tell if the rest will be good. My wife ordered the ribs, and my son ordered the corn dogs. We were a bit disappointed with the kids menu, put your smoked meat on the menu, like sliders. You have the meat, use it! The food came, unfortunately. The brisket had no smoke flavor, it was pretty much pot roast(bad pot roast). The ribs were not smoked either and were so salty my wife’s tongue swelled up. And my son’s corn dogs were tempura battered, and the batter was falling off. I don’t even know if our son’s meal was free or not(Tuesday’s kids eat free), don’t really care we just wanted to get out of the place. If we didn’t pay for our son, that’s fine. Keep the money and buy some wood to smoke with. Will definitely never go back.

Great pulled pork sandwich– great choice of three BBQ sauces– toasted bun. Tasty. Also, decent price for Steamboat. Service was very good — friendly and attentive. Would recommend.

Brand new restaurant, still working out the kinks with service and other things, but every time I go in it seems to get exponentially better. The décor is really cool and makes the place feel very comfortable. The whiskey and tequila selections are really good. I ordered the lamb shank and it was insane! Fall off the bone tender with amazing flavor. One of the best entrées I’ve had in steamboat and very reasonably priced. I am very excited at the potential of this new restaurant.

The staff was wonderfully friendly, the food was spectacularly flavorful and you can’t beat the prices. The décor was delightfully intriguing and the bathrooms were revolutionary! Loved it!

We have been looking for a decent BBQ joint ever since the smokehouse went downhill several years ago. This place is great. They use really good meat like Redbird chicken and the leanest ribs I ever had. So far we have liked everything we have tried in several visits. The beer is cold, the fries are crispy and have a real potato flavor. The burgers may be the best in town. And real smoking on the other meats makes them perfect also. We also tried the elk chili and it was good too. The review that mentioned exotic choices was right on. —- and we also had great service.

This place has a lot of potential. Beautiful restaurant with unique décor. The service is seriously lacking and the food is not good. The pulled pork sandwiches were OK, pork belly taco was decent, empanadas were dry and bland, the corn was awful, mac n cheese was flavorless, the sliders were the only things that were good. Need to label bbq sauces and better customer service.

The bbq was okay… really, nothing to write home about. Service was prompt. It was expensive for what you get.

Brisket was dry, this place doesn’t seem like its ready to be open. I asked for a side Caesar salad and they charged me 10.95! When I brought it up she showed me the price of a full Caesar and made no change to my bill, no manager visit. Just terrible.

Earlier reviews obviously did not know restaurant was open for first week and working out kinks. My wife and I ate there today and were impressed. Greeted at door, seated quickly and immediately approached by server who asked about drinks. Menu is not typical barbecue menu. It was 7 pages of very unusual dishes including barbecue. For example, my wife had smoked pheasant chowder. Not typical barbecue. I had chopped brisket sandwich served with sweet potato fries and a small bucket of cole slaw. All was good. Definitely will be back. Good food and service and will only get better.

I’ll start of with I don’t know why I thought this when I did because I’ve never done this before, but when I took a bite of the cornbread I immediately said to myself this tastes like khakis. The meatloaf wasn’t good. One baby carrot split in half and five green beans in a mushroom sauce with chunky potatoes that have seeds in them. But the brisket was good with the habanero sauce. Finally the service was bad. The waitress didn’t know all of the beers they had at the restaurant, she didn’t know what the sausage of the day was(figures…), and didn’t have a clue what was on the menu. My boyfriend ordered the brisket and I ordered the meatloaf. Only meatloaf on the menu and only brisket on the menu-the waitress had to ask three times each what we were ordering. The food took 20 minutes to get out to us and the drinks were never filled. All in all. I probably would not recommend coming out to this BBQ place on fifth. They do other things better here in Steamboat Springs.

Awful experience. We ate there this pass Saturday where there was a busy weekend in Steamboat with all the races. Every single place was booked except this restaurant, that should’ve been sign number 1 that it was going to be bad. It took about 10 minutes for somebody to acknowledge us because there was no hostess. Sign number 2, we were told by a waitress and by the sign outside the restaurant that they are looking to hire people. Who opens a restaurant under stuffed? Sign 3, no drink menu. The menu had plenty of space for pictures of meals that are not even on the menu. The meal took about 3 hours because of the slow service, in that time we saw plenty of people leaver their tables and others complain about the service. The food was okay, could be warmer and the corn bread was well under cooked. We ask for it to be cooked and they brought it back with the outside burnt and the inside still undercooked. Do not recommend it
