Takes forever for food to come. 30 minute wait somehow turns into an hour and 30 minute wait. Good food, but not worth the inconvenience.

I’ve been ordering from here for over ten years at least once a week. I have had them cater almost every single party I have thrown during that time and the food has always been consistently good. But I will never be ordering from them anymore after my last experience. I ordered dinner from them for my family, after about 2 hours I called asking them where my food was. I know I usually have to wait a minimum of an hour and a half but at 2 hours I reached my limit. They told me my food would Arrive shortly and the driver left already. Another 45 minutes pass and I call again, I was then told they would call the driver and call me back. 20 minutes later no call. I call once again and then I was told that the driver showed up to my house and tried to call me. My phone was not dead and was waiting near the door. (doorbell was working perfectly fine) I told the girl on the phone that no one showed up to my house and I received no call. The girl then told me to confirm my number and address as if my info was not in their system after ordering from them hundreds of times. I asked for The manager and he said well if you want to order again it will be another hour because they would need to re make the food. I told him that was not acceptable. i then told him that I have been ordering from him for a long time and that he would be losing my business and his reply was «oh well.» And hung up. I called back and asked for the owner and was hung up on again. I have never felt the need to leave a nasty review but This made me insane. This place has gone down hill and I highly highly highly highly ecommend taking your business elsewhere. Plenty of places nearby with better food and more professional people behind the counter. If I could give this place a 0 I would.

Not sure what happened here in the past 3 months, the cooking is terrible. Every tine we’ve ordered food even a small order such as a simple baked potato, it doesn’t get cooked or its cold in the center if it’s a calzone… everything comes out sloppy looking also. Hopefully the new servers work out. Time for new cooks towne deli! Terrible, the waitress wouldn’t make Decaf because she mentioned it would” take too long «also. Wasted money

I have been ordering from Towne Deli for about 6 years now and in the beginning it was great but, the last year or so it has gotten worse and worse .
From the horrible attitudes in the nasty people who answer the phone to the cold food that comes an hour and half after ordering it of they forget something …
— tonight I called to make an order and the girl on the phone tells me well if you want a cup of sauce on the side we charge now for it .” I said No problem” she said well you have to by a pint we don’t send small cups no more «I said again no problem «
— Then I ask if she can send me an order with two meatballs for a baby (remind you I always order the same thing at least every other week for my kid and they always send it to me) but, tonight NOPE it was a problem. The girl says no we don’t do that and I’ll ask my boss. But, instead
Of putting the phone on hold she put the phone down and talks to him with me listening and he tells her «No we don’t do that if there is a problem hang up «
Really??? Who says that ???
She comes back on the phone I tell her let me talk to him. I tell him what I heard him say he says well you should have said it was for a kid next time … Such an idiot! No thanks I’ll take my business elsewhere. I was ordering from there because it was just easy we know what we like from there but, truth be told it’s not what everyone makes it to be much better, nicer «less snotty girls answering the phones «& cleaner places on the Island.

So just because their barcode wouldn’t scan for the promotional 10 dollars off when you spend 10 or more they did not honor it for me. Witch I found to be really rude and inconsiderate and on top of that the people I spoke to were both rude and didn’t say sorry even once. ALSO good was COLD. Gross. They’ll never see my business again.

Order here often when working late with my boss and coworkers. Placed an order for 4 dinner only received 3. Called them back to let them know girl places me on hold says well there’s only an order for 3 here so you will have to pay for the 4^th order when we deliver it. I Said ok I wasn’t expecting it for free I just want my dinner. So right away she was on the defense that it wasn’t her fault. She says well it is going to take a half hour. 55 minutes later my dinner comes. I begin eating it half way through I find 2 small broken pieces of plastic in my pasta. what a coincidence. be careful while eating your food obviously this place doesn’t like if you call them to tell them your order was messed up.

I love this place. The pizza is really good, but it is also only a small portion of the menu items that they offer. I actually found out about this place from a coupon book a few years ago, and haven’t turned back since. The pizza is really good and their sandwiches are out of this world. Their honestly isn’t one bad thing on the menu, the food ranges from good to great. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is phenomenal and usually more food than you can eat. The menu is the most varied and extensive if it’s kind. They also offer great everyday specials. It is my favorite place to order out and me and my son love to visit there and eat in.

You pretty-​much cannot go wrong at the Towne Deli. I’ve used them for catering countless times and never been disappointed. Towne deli has the only takeout pizza I will eat in Staten Island, and their sandwiches are huge and delicious. Try the eggplant or meatball!

Awesome catering. My wife and I recently ordered for 25 people for a party. The food was amazing. Everyone loved it. I’ve never had such great eggplant Parmesan that tasted like it was homemade.
We had pasta with vodka sauce, Sausage and broccoli rabe, chicken Saltimboca, veal marsala, eggplant Parmesan, chicken fingers, and french fries. Every single dish was delicious. And the price was great.
We will be ordering from Towne Deli from here on out for all our catering occasions.

Towne deli is sooooo delicious, Ive been coming to this place for 6 years now and every single time has been on point. I love their Panini’s because they aren’t hard as a rock like other places. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I also highly recommend you have them cater your next party decent prices, rental racks, rental water trays, and they are always on time!

Towne Deli is a great little place. a «half» size panini here runs you about 6 bucks and could probably end world hunger based on its sheer size.
the Angry Rosie is flippin’ jawesome — chicken cutlet with melted fresh mozzarella and buffalo sauce — and just what you need on a cheat day from counting precious calories. my cousin and I also split a huge mountain of delicious crispy garlic parmesan fries, because that’s what we do.
the prices are low, the portions are great, and it’s delicious.

I wish they delivered to my dad’s house. I miss it since I moved back. Great cannolis and tirimisu. Cheese steaks are great too! I loved being able to order simple things like milk or cigs. Even their veggie lasagna is surprisingly amazing! Decently priced and good food!

I used to LOVE this place until my last few experiences, which prompted me to write this review. If you eat in, the service is pretty fast, food is hot, everything’s great. If you order delivery, beware — it will take an hour or more. That’s always been the case, but since the food was so good, I never really minded.
HOWEVER, the last 3 times I ordered delivery, I ordered the SAME hero with the SAME specifications, & it arrived wrong every single time. Regardless, I let it go. I’m not going to call & complain & make the poor delivery person waste gas to bring us a new hero. The mistake wasn’t a travesty, so we ate it anyway. After the first 2 times being wrong, I was absolutely certain the third time would be fine (because why would the same mistake be made that many times?). Boy, was I wrong. Being a waitress myself, I NEVER complain or send anything back, but this really bugged me. I understand mistakes happen with food orders — of course they do! We’re all human. But the same exact mistake 3x in a row is not okay, & it will definitely prevent me from ordering here again.

I really liked this small little eatery. It’s half a pizzeria and half a deli. They offer obviously pizza, then there’s paninis, sandwiches, pasta, seafood, salad, and soups. They have specials every day for dinner which is pretty good deal. Monday is ribs, Thursday is half a chicken and Fridays is seafood. I enjoyed there rice ball parm it’s pretty big so you can share with someone else and also there salads are big. I had the Big Paulies panini it was meatball, fresh mozzarella and grated cheese on a garlic bread half panini and it was really good. The waitresses are really nice and the prices are not bad. I would def. come back and they also cater. Parking can def. suck because it’s on a main road that doesn’t allow parking but the food is worth it.

I used to love this place for the mess and other foods.
But today I order an eggplant parm it comes with almost no sauce. I also order two pieces of cheesecake which I got frozen. When I called I was told well just throw it in the microwave. For that I could have gone to a supermarket and bought a frozen cheesecake for the same price as one slice. So with that said I would rather eat out of the dumpster in soho then order here again at least I have a better chance if the food being fresh

These past eight months have been absolute hell to deal with. Its so hard to live without you. I can’t wait to be with you again! From the moment I left you and staten island it’s been a nightmare.

Delicious paninis & wraps! They did an excellent job catering! Everything was delicious and very friendly & professional staff. If you go there, there is a pick-​up area, as well as a sit down spot.

Great price, fast service and good food with great portions. Casual atmosphere, small dining area. There is no parking lot and street parking is a bit challenging in this area.
The calamari appetizer was delicious and the highlight of the meal. Very tender and tasty, not overly breaded. You wouldn’t expect a casual restaurant like this to make such good calamari but they did. Great value too. 8.95 for a very generous amount!
We also ordered a 4 cheese pizza and it was huge and tasty, with generous portions of ricotta on top. I would say the particular pizza we had here was close to as good as we could get at the best pizzerias on the island.
Linguini with white clam sauce came with a generous number of in shell clams which tasted fresh. Good taste, not quite as saucy as I would like but this is a personal preference thing. Linguini was cooked perfectly.
They have great daily special deals that look almost too good to be true.
