While tasting and smelling good, the prices are ridiculous for artificially flavored teas. They seem high-end store with high end product, and we never even thought to double check what we were buying. After a little research, we said no more, there are plenty of natural alternatives.

Whenever I come to the mall, I try to always stop in for a quick tea when I’m thirsty. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable and the teas truly taste delicious. The only thing I wish is if they had more teas on sale or different promotions. It is on the high priced side, but you get what you pay for, in my opinion it is worth it

They have great tea here. Also, you can buy a cup to go if you’re not ready to commit to it yet. I have the travel mug that steeps the tea. It kept my tea warm over night in the fridge. My biggest gripe is the expense! Everything from the rock sugar, to the mug to the tea is expensive! However it’s so good that I still buy it. The sales associates work hard to sell the products.

Definitely one of the worse customer service experiences I’ve had in this Teavana location. Luckily, after calling their corporate office I regained my fondness for Teavana. I had visited the store a week or so before and was encouraged by the staff who was personable and suggestive of teas I would like. I had explained that my sister-in-law had gotten me hooked on Teavana but she had gotten me one particular tea that I didn’t enjoy. I was told to bring the unused tea back and they’d gladly exchange it. I guess this wasn’t completely accurate because when I returned about a week later, I was treated like I had stolen the tea and was seemingly interrogated about where my receipt was even though I had repeatedly explained that it was a gift. To add insult to injury, the associate(named Johnny) tried in his broken English to suggest that the tea wasn’t theirs even though it was in Teavana packaging! I insisted that he get a manager on the phone since one wasn’t present and he told me I would have to come back when a manager was there. After almost 30 minutes of trying to resolve what I felt was an easy issue, a manager(Ayana) called the store back. Johnny went into the back room to speak with her instead of following basic customer service etiquette and speaking to her in my presence to explain the situation. As he began doing something on the computer, I became even more demeaned that he hadn’t spoken to me about how the situation would be resolved. At that point, I didn’t even want to exchange the tea; I just wanted a refund and to leave that store. I finally asked Johnny to speak directly to the manager who was on his cell and you would’ve thought I was a homeless person begging for a dollar! He finally handed over his phone and the manager Ayana was no better and essentially made excuses for his treatment of me and never once apologized for my frustration or the misinformation I received from others on her staff. I ended up choosing a random tea to replace the tea I had brought in but there was never an apology or even a verbal appreciation from Johnny as I left the store. If not for the corporate office of Teavana and the customer service representative who listened to my experience empathetically, I would completely divorce myself from ever dealing with another location.

A good place for all things tea. Friendly welcoming staff. Nice selection of brewed samples. If you like exotic teas you will find plenty here that you won’t find elsewhere. Want a cool sampler set to give as a gift? They have several. Teapots? Electric and auto? Yeah, they have that too. Indulge yourself, you deserve it,

Order online is the best way to go. There are sales online for the tea leaves. I have brought teas twice online and I haven’t gotten no complaints. Do they know how to properly brew tea… maybe not. They sell the drinks in 1 size, doesn’t matter which tea you pick, it is all $ 5. Even though Starbucks brought Teavana, it’s not cheap for plain tea… I got the Snow Geisha… a bit disappointed for the flavor, it’s not as strong as I thought. My other half got the Golden Dragon… he say it taste so plain… taste like cheap green tea.

I love the teas from teavan, but the prices are just crazy. They don’t have a big selection of teas to drink on the go. The service is nice but they really try to get into those pockets. I was really disappointed to hear they were discontinuing the white chocolate peppermint tea. This tea is amazing and it is on sale for valentines day.

A brief summary of what I want to say: Teevana is a complete rip-off. The employees do not know how to properly brew tea and are nothing more the salespersons for over-priced utensils and tins. Slightly longer version: Things seemed OK after first entering Teevana: the employees were all very nice and the store was well-kept aside from a small spot on the floor that was sticky(but that could easily be a clumsy customer’s fault). The person behind the counter handed out samples and even allowed you to smell the scent of the tea from the tin before making a purchase — a good sign as scent has a lot to do with finding a great tea. While the salesmanship of Teevana is nothing to turn your nose up at, they are unfortunately missing the key ingredient: knowledge of how to brew tea! I ordered a simple green tea. Granted green tea isn’t as easy to brew as black tea but you would expect someone selling and brewing tea to know the proper procedure. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and, boy, was I wrong. My green tea was brewed in boiling water that was so hot I could barely hold my cup. This would be the equivalent of taking a nice steak and burning it under the broiler for half an hour. The entire aroma of the leaf disappeared and the tea was not even safe to drink for at least 10 minutes before it cooled down. The person making my tea even asked if I wanted ice to cool the water. Seriously? If you put ice in your tea, you’re doing it wrong. Very, very wrong. Do yourself the favor and stay away from this place. Their tea is overpriced and brewed incorrectly.

Not bad tea, spent over $ 50.00 on a small cylinder of tea. You would think the tin they fill up is included but they said it’s a one time charge. Yep, another one born everyday.

I went to Teavana probably the first week it opened. And boy, was that a mistake. The tea itself is delicious. They gave samples when you come in, and damn if they weren’t some fine, quality teas. The teapots and etc. are amazing, as well, fine quality cast iron pots and matching cups, some ceramic with golds and silvers, all with the entire set, down to the trays and tiny little spoons. If you are a tea lover, by all means, blow your load. However, I was so intensely sold to, that I honestly haven’t been back since they opened. In the sweetest way possible, these people were like sales vultures, worse than any car dealership I’ve ever been to. A woman spent over an hour trying to sell me an entire cast iron teapot set(which sold for a baffling amount of money; lady, do I look like I’m on the market for eight hundred dollars worth of tea supplies?). It’s something that I simply don’t want to deal with when I want to buy some loose leaf teas. I’d gladly make the trek to Manhattan if it meant I can get a hot tea without the hassle, or just go to Target and buy some Tazo and call it a day. A steel reserve and stone face is necessary to delve into this overpriced but yummy tea house.
