I needed to install soundproofing underlayment beneath the carpet in my 1000sf co-​op to mitigate TV noise from lovely, elderly downstairs neighbors who can’t hear well. There are specialty companies in Brooklyn and Manhattan who understand acoustic STC material ratings but they’re very expensive.
Taubs was the only company I found on Staten Island who carried these materials.
Lisa responded to my request for technical data sheets on the material, and Doug showed up right on time for the estimate. The price was reasonable, and the installers did an excellent job. The results were exactly what I expected, and well worth it.
I highly recommend Taubs for their punctuality. professionalism, pricing and execution

Lisa at Taubs was one of the most helpful people I have ever had worked with. During a very stressful rebuild of our apartment we had to deal with a number of terrible contractors, flooring people and other workers.
Taubs went above and beyond to not only secure the exact flooring we needed, but they also delivered it. Once the install was done, they even worked with us to return the excess flooring to the manufacturer saving us hundreds of dollars.
