Everything was amazing from appetizers to dessert. Service was good and will definitely come back.

We had the paella Valencia to our surprise it was very good compared to many others we had. The only paella better than this is is Alexandria, Va called Tesca tapas. That’s my opinion. The shrimp aillo is excellent here. We were very please. I do recommend this place.

Triple +++…haven’t been here in a few years, always wanted to go back so today we had 6 people to go… super best… Paella was Perfection… mom had broiled scallops, so Great(and so Many!!)…everybody was so super-satisfied, shrimp ajillo,… lots o’ shrimp… Each one of us took home a next-day full-size meal… how do they do it… give so much really great food, at such a good price, and you’re eating it again tomorrow… Wait staff was very attendant, never obtrusive, and always quick with anything we wanted extra… I am going to make this my Main S.I. Restaurant…

A pretty decent Spanish restaurant that’s been here a long time, desperately in need of a redo in the dining room the food remains very palatable. One of my favorites is the shrimp stuffed with crab meat, jumbo shrimp well seasoned and piled high. Another good dish is lobster in green sauce, very tasty. I recommend Real Madrid.

Went there without reservations and it was packed for Friday night. My husband and I got seated within 10 minutes. Our waiter was really nice and service was great. Definitely order the sangria and a small pitcher is worth it.

This restaurant is my hands down favorite. So many things to enjoy! The first time I came here was with my husband on our 1st date, he had the 3lb shell & I had the shrimp with green sauce. 2 carafes of sangria later I knew the restaurant and the guy were keepers! After 14 years they both keep getting better.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and I was even proposed at this restaurant. Food is always good and the service is also good. The only thing I hate about this place is the limited parking in the back of the restaurant which they share it with the Post office which can be a hassle in the morning and afternoon.

We had the 3Lb shell steak and shrimp ajillo. The steak was cooked spot on for medium well but it didn’t have any flavor, not even salt. I didn’t like how they automatically gave me a side of green beans as my choice and it wasn’t noted on the menu. The shrimp had a good flavor but it was overcooked and the rice wasn’t up to par. A classic place without any classic dishes. 3 stars was generous. Place needs an update.

My family and I celebrated Easter here. We were seated in the party room with other parties, which was initially a little loud. However, the food and service were superb. I ordered the Shrimp Ajillo, and it was delicious. Others in my party ordered salmon, lobsters(steamed and grilled), steak, calamari and paella. The portion sizes were enormous. All of the meals were well seasoned and tasty! It was busy, but the staff were attentive to our needs. The sangria was perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was good but the place is getting run down. Our table was broken and not even level, my plate was on an angle tilted toward me. The waiter wouldn’t change our table because they didn’t have any that could seat 6. The place is not being maintained not as clean as it should be. It’s dated, and there are several other Spanish restaurants on SI with better food for the price. I think Real Madrid has run its course.

This place is okay not that great! Cheap looking restaurant with cheap paper menus where prices are written in pencil yet the prices for the food is expensive for no reason!!! Ordered the paella the portion is big if I know I could have shared it with my husband one order! The seafood was dirty sandy and not cooked! I would search for other places before trying this!

Customer service was good, the restaurant had a old feel to it which I like. Blue Sangria was good. We ordered Paella Valencia and Chicken Ajillo. The shrimps weren’t cleaned, you could still taste the sand on them. The chicken was stiff with very little taste. I asked them to substitute my rice with salad or anything else, the waiter said no. Nothing special, the wait staff was professional.

Horrible dining experience. Terrible service. We waited over an hour for our food. We ordered coffee and desserts. The waiter forgot the coffee and brought the wrong desserts. The food was mediocar. When I complained to the manager, he shrugged his shoulders and said sorry. I DONOT advise anyone to eat there.

I’ve been a customer for about 20 years or so, this is one of the very few places that’s always on point, food has always been and still is great, service is good, prices are fair, excellent place, probably one of the best restaurants on Staten Island, great job guys, keep doing what you do

We regularly come here and it’s always, always consistently great food with great service. We’ve catered out of here, we pop in for late dinners(true Spaniard style) and it’s a favorite. We even came here after our vacation in Madrid because we were having cuisine withdrawals — their food, in sum, is authentic. They also compare to Manhattan’s Spanish restaurants, for a better price(and obviously, value as they’re local). Portions are generous, you won’t leave wondering what to eat next. Anything off the menu is tasty, but seafood paella is a staple as is shrimp in garlic sauce. Get some sangria, make it a party. It’s really the only good Castillian Spanish restaurant left on SI(España Royale was good but not as good and it’s gone; Beso is great but they’re fusion-Spanish food). Décor wise… real old school vibe. Like… Spanish civil war era old school. Maybe needs an update. But that’s irrelevant. Worth coming to.

We have always enjoyed a great lunch or dinner at Real Madrid– the menu is expensive and delicious and the drinks are special. Well worth the visit. Very affordable and casual dining environment adds to the experience. Thurs– Saunday — very crowded; great for parties or just casual, intimate lunch or dinner. Look for the lobster special! Great experience!

Came here this past Friday night as a back up because the other 2 places we went had over an hour wait, thank you other 2 restaurants! I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was, as well as the portion sizes. I got the chicken creole, which was flavorful and the chicken was super tender. My meal came with a salad or soup, and they bring out 3 sides for the table, fresh potato chips, string beans and rice. Their desert menu was also really good– they had pistachio tartufo which is hard to find, and is my absolute favorite! Last but not least, the service was awesome– everyone was really nice and attentive. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who can appreciate a nice home cooked Spanish meal :)

Very good food, excellent in fact, service good, only four stars because I think its a bit more pricey than it should be but its always good, I would frequent it more if it weren’t so pricey but hey, the service and food is great!!!

Walking in, the ambience is that of a friendly bar. The soccer game is on and a few people dot the bar area. We were showed to our seat in the main dining. Service was excellent, I should say that off the bat. I ordered the mussels to start which were described as «mussels ajillo» garlic. Cool, I can get on board with that. Sadly, that is the only thing I drop a star on this great experience on. I debated on whether it was Staten Island water on just a day too late — and it was just a day too late on the mussels. I had the Marisceda de Creole which did not disappoint! I expected a plate and instead got a tureen of these delicious seafood goodness. Seriously, it’s enough for family style. It’s almost enough for my date who ordered the Chicken Villaroy. This chicken was lightly breaded and cooked in-between with the beschamel sauce. I’m used to the topping of beschamel but never the cooking in the chicken and, let me tell you, it was amazing. The rice and the generous plate of fried platanos are served up to accompany. Is it like Madrid? Well, I’ve been there and it may be a stretch that but I can tell you this place serves up some serious good food. Don’t let the location scare you. I know Forest Ave can be a little sketchy but they do have valet.
