Support this place! It’s amazing. The mission is so admirable. Their food is very good and the service is wonderful. The prices are so reasonable and they service breakfast all day. The only down side is they’re only open until 3 p.m. They’re opening a Chocolate shoppe next door soon!

Delicious and a great example of community in this eatery. Food is basic yet delicious; and you’re serving a purpose by eating here.

One could go here for the lovely service, low prices, because it is immaculate and the mission is admirable, but I’d argue to come for the food. Everything we had was delicious and well above expectations. The staff was sincere and friendly and did their jobs very well. Unfortunately, we don’t live near here or we would go every week. I am so glad the Unilocal reviews sold on us on the place when we stopped to get gas nearby and were looking for a quick bite. It’s name is actually On Your Mark Café, so do not look for a sign saying Choices.

The food is very fine, not fancy but tasty and hot. It is basically only sold at cost(no profit margin) as it is a nonprofit café designed to teach people with disabilities skills, get them into the community and be independent and productive. It all works. All meals are inexpensive. Tips are split amongst the crew(all who have disabilities) and it gives them a sense of accomplishment and a little cash. They are disabled and working as opposed to others who aren’t and don’t. No, the service is not like at the Four Seasons but it’s supervised and heartwarming and perfectly fine. You will leave with a full belly, a satisfied palate, and full heart. And it won’t cost you all that much.

I ate in here for breakfast with the guy I am currently dating. I have had food from this place before, but never ate-in until yesterday. Like Heather(my sister-in-law) said, it is funded by «On Your Mark.» Your order is taken by and served by the consumers(People who utilize the services of OYM. I had pancakes with bacon. Matt had eggs with hash-browns, bacon and a bagel. We also had 2 bottles of water. Our breakfast bill came to $ 6.25. Our conversation during the meal: FYI Matt and I are both Jewish. Matt: This a really good bagel. I think it’s the best I ever had. Me: Now is it a good bagel that tastes like regular bread,? or a good bagel as in a JEWISH bagel? Matt: Jewish bagel, wanna try a piece? Me:(Makes«this is the best i’ve ever had face») Matt: You don’t like it? Me: NOOO I love it! This IS a Jewish bagel.

i LOVE this place! small, cute café on staten island that my boyfriend and i found accidentally when the neighborhood diner was closed. let me start by saying that the food is not anything spectacular. they serve your basic diner-ish food, only it’s better and waaay cheap. we love their french toast and shrimp wraps. what is so special, and why i rate it so highly, is they are run by a not for profit organization On Your Mark. they are a federal, city and state funded program that helps children and adults with disabilities. the restaurant is run, with the help of the program directors, by participants of On Your Mark. the environment is quite pleasant with a slightly european feel to it. Choices Café rocks!
