Delivery is always fast. Great food! Very pleasant people that work there. They’re very cautious of my allergy. They’ve been my favorite on the island since I was young. I hope they never change.

I’ve had the pizza and it’s pretty fantastic. Why the one star? I ordered a potato and egg hero and I’m pretty sure the recipe doesn’t call for a long strand of hair. Also someone should tell the chef a potato and egg is usually scrambled eggs and little chunks of potato. What did I get? Burnt scrambled eggs with French fries in the hero. If that’s how you prepare your potato and egg hero then you should advertise it as such. I realize French fries are potatoes but that’s not the way it’s generally prepared. I’ll be ordering from Pronto Pizza in New Dorp from now on.

That was hands down the worst pizza I have ever had! The sauce was to acidic the cheese was disgusting and the dough wasn’t appetizing! I have eaten better pizza in Florida! Not coming back! And the cheese they have out on the counter to shake on ty our pizza is inedible

Called in an order and when I walked in they Weren’t even busy so I thought it be quick. There was one other person in front of me in line and when i paid, The cashier almost gave me the wrong change back. People were rude and told me a few minutes. I waited from over 10 minutes then a guy came in(most likely a regular) ordered 4 slices and they took the slices from the pizza that was supposed to be mine!!! So then I had to wait even LONGER!

A very good slice to grab on the go. I’m only giving 4 stars and not 5, because if anyone remembers what the pizza tasted like back when they were a little establishment, in the early 90s… it probably was the best pizza on the island or in NYC! Since then, the ovens changed with the renovations, and hasn’t been the same since. Any native islander can tell you. But, in 2015 I can still say Nunzio’s will always be one of the best slices on the island. A must visit!

I have to say there is no pizza like it. If you are a native Islander you know that already. If you disagree then you don’t know pizza. They use the finest ingredients available and have the tastiest dough around. The cheese is top shelf. You can tell because the pie is never greasy. As a matter of fact I believe they add olive oil to help crust cook and there still is no grease what so ever. One thing I noticed is the pies you take home have a thicker crust and smaller slices than what you get at counter. The price per slice cannot be beat at $ 2.00. Every one else is two fifty or higher. They actually were still $ 1.85 just a few years ago. They have pretty good fried calamari and calzones as well. They sell beer and have tap soda or bottles. They deliver.

I just happened upon this place and noticed it was family owned. It is SO good. I had a regular slice and it was delicious. Thin crust, good proportion of cheese to tomato sauce. Good price for a slice($ 2). I don’t know about dine in experience, but the staff at the take out counter were very friendly. I can’t wait to go back.

Good quality Staten Island pizzeria. What was different about this place vs other Staten Island pizzerias we tried was the moistness of the crust. Because of the way its cooked, the crust has this moistness to it which really enhanced the flavour of the sauce and the cheese. The cheese was incredibly stringy and the sauce was piping hot… if they bring out the pizza right away make sure you let it settle before you take a bite!

First time back there since their renovation and expansion. Not quite the same as I remember it as a teenager… Had a pizza with mushroom/chicken which came across as «sloppy»… Not enough crust, and everything slid off when we picked it up. Really needed a bib, a knife and fork!

To start off, I cannot review the dining experience because we order the food and they had it deliver to our workplace. They were very friendly when we was ordering and ask them to come at 12 to our workplace and they did. We order a large pie with 2 toppings(Mushrooms and Meat lover). The pizza was great and it was thin crust. I am not a fan of thin crust pizza but this one was really good. I would recommend ordering from this place. I hope to dine here one day!

I certainly don’t venture into Staten Island a lot so a couple things that annoyed me about this place I hear are pretty standard SI. For one, they don’t really have a parking lot, so I ended up parking at the Autozone next door and hoping that I wouldn’t get towed. Secondly, I’ve been spoiled on free fountain drink refills at every dine in and fast food chain there is, so it seems pretty stingy to give out a kid sized cup of soda and charge by the cup. The pizza itself was pretty great, they advertise they use PollyO because it is a high quality cheese. It tasted nice and hot and is definitely a great pizza maker. It probably would have been better to take out if I lived nearby then dine in. The dining room is pretty small and they don’t have air conditioning so it’s a combo of fans and open windows which seems really amateur. There wasn’t much to say about the dining room décor. It’s not exactly a welcoming atmosphere, it’s just very basic and budget. There was also a kid’s pizza party going on and the room is pretty small so it was pretty hard to avoid the noise. I would definitely recommend it for the pizza but not for the dining experience, but that’s why pizza is such a great invention to get to to go.

This is the best pizzeria hands down on Staten Island. Period, the service is great friendly and they pay attention to your needs. My wife and I go every Friday night and everytime it’s like I am eating it for the first time. Yummy.

I used to frequent this joint back in the day. It was in fact one of the better pizzerias in Staten Island back then. My husband and I went early one Wednesday night several months ago and I might have given them a third star if our whole meal was not completely FUBAR… forcing us to go elsewhere afterward because my husbands dish was completely inedible. Rather than hit the pizza joint we decided to sit in the dinning room. We walk in and notice a completely disinterested kid, dressed in an apron, standing near the hallway to the bathrooms. We wait, and wait, expecting him to say«have a seat where ever you like» or «how many?». Nothing. So we grabbed the nearest two top. Maybe it was my deep hunger that made it seem like forever before we were greeted by the waitress or handed a menu, but it was far to long to wait for a menu in a quarter full restaurant. I ordered the Baked Ziti, and my husband ordered calamari as an appetizer and Shrimp Parmesan for his entrée. I figured I would munch on some bread while he ate the calamari. After about five minutes the waitress returned, they were out of shrimp. Disappointing, but whatever, he got the linguine with clam sauce instead. So, like I said before I was sorta expecting some bread. Expecting it because every other occupied table had some. But no, we had no bread. After 25 minutes of waiting, bread-less and ultimately calamari-less because the waitress forgot to put in the order, we are delivered our entrees. The baked ziti, what there was of it, was good. Tasty as hell. But all told, there were about 10 rigatoni noodles in that tiny baking dish. TEN! Mostly sauce and mozzarella. Again, good but certainly not worth 9 bucks. As for the linguine with clams, my husband took two bites and simply put his fork down. It tasted like soap. Unadulterated dish soap. We wont be back.

Eww, never again. Here’s why; Ordered two items from the menu to-go. Veal hero and garlic knots. It took them 45 minutes to prepare a sandwich and pack a few garlic knots in a bag. The kid at the counter was friendly and I sat down to wait. And I waited and waited and went to sit in my car. 40 minutes later I walked in and it’s *still not ready* — Really? There was maybe 4 people in the place and the people behind the counter are chatting it up. Finally, FOURTYFIVE minutes later I get my order and go home. Well here’s what took them 45 minutes to prepare. Giant loaf of stale Italian bread sliced in half. Dried, overcooked veal thin as paper, lettuce(wilted) and two slices of tomatoes. The garlic knots looked good but then I saw they were cooked only on one side. It was still mushy dough on the other. Eww, I will never eat/order from here again.

Ughhh, not as good as it used to be and after my last experience, I would most likely not return considering how many other great pizza places there are on the island. Last time I went with my sister. We ordered a fresh pie and ordered some slices to eat at the counter while we waited. After a few bites, my sister puts the slice down and says we had to leave. «What’s wrong?» I ask. She points to said pizza slice and there is what appears to be a PUBICHAIR just chilling on the cheese pizza. Now both of us have long hair, we were both wearing it up in a ponytail, and our hair is not black. We brought it to the server’s attention who looked at it and said«my bad, you want another one?» No we don’t want another one. We asked if there’d be pubic hair on the pizza and he said«I’ll try not to» uhhh gross. Never going back.
