New York’s Finest Taekwondo

My son started at this school back in May. He had already attended another one on the island for a couple of months and we were sorely disappointed with it. I won’t name the other school but it was over-​priced and over-​crowded and most importantly, my son didn’t learn a thing. We tried this school and have never looked back. Master Mike is a wonderful instructor, endlessly patient and giving. Ms. Larissa and Joe also are superb. They all are willing to take the time to show each child how to do everything correctly. Some children don’t learn easily or quickly (like my son) and the compassion that they exhibit is simply beyond comparison. They have expended so much effort in teaching my son (who has been bullied at school) and their hard work shows. My son’s confidence has increased and my family is very grateful.
I was greatly impressed from the first day and have remained so. The intimate family atmosphere of the school is very inviting and Master Mike and his wife Kristi are such nice, friendly people they make you feel welcome. If you want a great school run by really nice people where your child will receive personalized attention, this is it. I highly recommend it.

My son is a student at the school and he loves it! Master Gregotowicz is very patient with the kids but he also teaches them TKD as a discipline and a sport. It’s great exercise while teaching your kid self-​defense and self-​confidence. Plus the school is always spotless. I highly recommend the school!
