Mr. pizza is one of my favorite pizzerias on Staten Island. I have been going for the last 5 years for lunch. They have the best white and Vodka slices. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

They have the best vodka pies. I order from them every time I want pizza. I tried vodka pies from other places and none come close to Mr Pizza.

The pizza here is pretty good. When I’m too lazy to drive to Brother’s pizza, I order from this place. I live in the neighborhood and out of the few places around here, Mr. Pizza is the best. Their plain slices are good, but the white slices are the best here. Chicken rolls and calzones are good too. The one thing that I don’t like is the caesar dressing. It’s very fishy, they add too many anchovies to the dressing. I have had to throw out my chicken salad many times because of that. Also if you order a pie, ask them not to overcook it. Sometimes they burn the bottom of the pizza.

Dont waste your time going there. If youre desperate, make sure when you call them ahead of time, to take their«10 min» wait time as literally 30 min. Why… when there was NOONE in there? When the older«gentleman» was told he could have said 30 min over the phone instead of10 min, he gave a VERYNASTY attitude and was given the opportunity to look at the phone log to show he’s being inconsiderate and dishonest. They lost our business. Good luck if you go there, not worth the aggravation.

Most people like Villa Monte in the area, Barios is a joke, but Mr. Pizza does pizza and pasta justice! I love the vodka pie and margarita. The antipasto diCasa is YUM as well. I always find the staff to be attentive and pleasant.

Walked in, ordered a large pie and a calzone. The pie slices were tiny. I live about five minutes away and I knew when I got home I was in for disappointment because under the box was barely warm. So the pizza AND the calzone were cold. It’s located in a small strip mall, so I went to a couple of stores while they made the food. So apparently, my calzone was not made fresh but was a re-heated calzone previously made earlier. The pizza sauce had a sweet taste. Some folks like that, I don’t. It tasted exactly like pizza you’d get in The poconos. And the whole point of picking up food was to save myself from having to cook tonight. But I came home and had to actually recook the pizza and calzone. This poor calzone had no life left in it as this was its third time being heated. Really bad pizza. Really bad calzone.

Mr. Pizza’s isn’t on my list as top pizzerias but I do have two go-to items that I love from here– a white slice and a potato & egg hero. I think they make both the best. The white slice is oozing with ricotta and the potato & egg hero has a generous amount of diced REAL potatoes(not french fries or canned potatoes). This is an outdated eatery and I never see many people dining in but if you’re in the plaza and wanted a quick bite, you’d have a decent meal from here.

Ive passed by this place many tiems but never ate here because of its location deep in a plaza. ok Pros: decent vodka slice. CONS everything else. overpriced had a marilon mansion reject hs dropout with long hair and lip ring working in the front whose iq was probably hovering around the 50s. I ordered a a chicken salad and a vodka slice and he proceed to tell me my bill was $ 18($ 4 for chicken and $ 2 for cheese which was not even fresh mozzarella). It took this genius 15minutes to figure out the bill btw. I mean it wasnt his fault that the chain is nickel and diming people so I cant be that harsh on him. But an older lady(who the years have been harsh on her face) proceeded to tell me if I dont like the prices not to come back. Great business model. Oh btw when I finally got to eat my salad found 2 long black hairs.(gee I wonder who they belonged to). blah I wonder if I can report to BBB.

We recently moved by the mall from Hugenot and wanted to order in, and Mr Pizza was recommended to us. We ordered fried calamari, soda, and a Grandpa/sicilian pie. After waiting about 90 minutes, I called the restaurant thats DOWNTHESTREET to see where my food was. They said they were on my block, and the doorbell rang while I was on the phone with the staff. That was insanely long to wait for a pie and it takes 5 minutes to deep fry calamari. The food: Calamari was standard. Not bad, not amazing. Pizza was good. Sauce was good but not great. It was no Mona Lisa(Annadale), or Ciro’s(Hugenot). The grandpa pie at Mona Lisa’s KILLS the Mr Pizza one. There is no comparison. I dont think it was worth $ 35 and the hour and a half wait. Next time I would run out to get pizza and bring it home, or just make the pizza myself and not be lazy.

Definitely make the best Grandfather pie, that’s right! So thin and tasty and you can’t just have 1 slice… Their chicken marsala and baked ziti are also very good! Don’t forget their regular pizza is pretty good too! This is a spot I’m glad I live close to!!!

I often come here after spending the day at the nearby Barnes & Nobles. They make the best chicken parmigian(I hope I spelled that right!) and baked ziti. I’m also loving there décor in the back. It feels a little bit like I imagine Old Italy would look.
