I wasn’t impressed by the prices (a dollar for one of those small apples), the look of the place, or the fact that they didn’t have much of anything.

Absolutely filthy inside. Prices change subject to person at register. Owner and wife and son completely rude and nasty (and dirty — don’t let them cook your food). Over priced — literally everything they sell is available much cheaper within walking distance. Clientele primarily retirees and gambling junkies so don’t expect to get through the line quickly — been working near here for a year, in NYC for 20, and this is the single worst place I can think of to throw your money away. Milk also tastes funny on a very consistent basis (usually only a day or two from exp so you MUST check). The concept of ‘Shi+ Hole’ was created to describe places like this.
