Nick Montiel and his crew painted my mother’s house in Stateline in the early summer of 2014. She is extremely pleased, as am I. Her house is 6000 square feet and has a very complex exterior, featuring multiple decks, external stairwells, bay windows and a carport, with multiple types of surfaces and trim. When I saw the original estimate, I was sure that Nick had underbid and would later revise the figure upward. But after weeks of high quality, professional, courteous, conscientious, organized and clean labors, we were presented with a bill that almost exactly matched the original bid. I was absolutely shocked. Perhaps I’m wrong, but in my (unprofessional) opinion, this could not have been a great money maker for Nick. But he held to his estimate, which I consider as an indication of strong ethics.
My mother lives alone and is in her 80s. The thought of having several men tromping around the property was definitely a source of concern for both her and me. But our concerns were unfounded. Every member of the crew was polite and friendly. They were also very careful. They covered her plants and ensured drip lines were safe. They temporarily moved furniture, gauges, wires, thermometers, hoses and many other objects from the surfaces and replaced everything perfectly.
Lastly, my mother needed help choosing colors and Nick and his crew suggested several alternatives and painted sections for her to evaluate.
I just can’t say enough good stuff. If you need a painter in south shore, hire these guys!!!
