Handy Delivery

Driver was on time, a very nice guy as well. Took only a few minutes to get me to the airport. Will definitely be using them again.

Handy taxi has always been a terrible experience. The first time, they were 10 – 20 mins late from their expected time. On top of that, my mom recent experience was calling them and them never showing up.

I had a disturbing encounter today with one of their delivery drivers. I was driving toward a traffic light when a truck pulled out in front of me. The truck crossed 3 lanes of traffic, causing me to hit my brakes (I had been in motion; the light at the corner was green). I honked at the driver and, once stopped, held up my hands to signal confusion at his action, which was quite dangerous and could have caused an accident had I not been a careful driver. I made no obscene gesture, nor did I yell. The truck stopped, blocking two lanes for the duration of the traffic light, which had turned red by this point. With his truck stopped, the driver proceeded to exit his vehicle, walk into the street and approach my car, sticking his tongue out and waving his arms. He eventually got back in the truck. His behavior was dangerous, inappropriate, infantile and totally unprofessional. I anticipate travel for my job in coming months, including airport travel. I also host others who travel to this area for research purposes. I’ve never had an occasion to use this company, but I will NEVER use it now, nor will I ever recommend it. I understand that my experience was with the delivery service, not the taxi service. However, I don’t know if they share drivers so I will avoid them. I plan to call the company, so I will update with their response.
