I can’t believe it has taken this long for me to finally post a review for this great place. After years and years of going here! I’ve been told I’m the queen of Wok Express. Really, I kid you not. I would say I’m Wok Express’ number one fan, besides maybe the owner. I’ve become a regular, and I’m very proud to say that they even say things like«Will you be ordering the regular?» and«Where’s your boyfriend today?» and«See you soon!» No shame, I think it’s dope. All of my friends and family know about this place. I’m constantly gushing over how it’s basically the«better quality and cheaper version of Panda Express.» Definitely a hidden gem(it’s literally IN a Food 4 Less), and I love supporting local businesses — which I highly encourage in general. The prices are rather cheap for the proportions you receive! And the food quality is SOGOOD. Of course, not the healthiest thing obviously, but it beats any other Chinese take out place. Each time I’ve come here, I’m always greeted with such kindness from each employee. This place has been open for as long as I could remember, and I hope it stays that way. It’s a great business with great employees, and I’m very happy to support them. Highly recommend(if that wasn’t obvious already)!

Yummy orange chicken. The teriyaki chicken was also great. Been here like over 10xs but have eaten only those two until I get sick of it then I’ll try a new item hihihihi. Fried rice and chowmein was perfect. Only inconvenience was that it was in the food for less but food was great so it’s worth it. Would recommend if you need a filler upper.

This place is sooooooo bomb, no matter what they serve its always so good, i think they now added a spicy curry chicken with potatoes, also if I could I would order 50 cream cheese wontons every time.

Yeargh, Unilocal, stop skewing the numbers towards positive. The food was old, but I haven’t eaten lunch when so I was famished when I ate this… shouldn’t my hunger have made the food better? I don’t think so… …everything was just meh, meh, meh. He hyped up the four spiciest dishes so I opted for the chicken curry. I was so sorely disappointed that it lacked even a tinge of heat promised. I would get more heat from a toothpick full of deli mustard. Very disappointing. I’m trying not to be too critical because I really have a soft spot for Mom & Pop shops but if you’re going to talk up your entrees, for the love of God, deliver. It doesn’t have to be fantastically good, but by God, if you say it’s gonna be HOT, then I expect it to be HOT. If you MUST try this place, they are INTHEFOOD4LESS. INSIDEOFIT. You walk in the front door, walk a few steps closer to the checkout aisles, then turn right until you see it on the right side.

I’ve been shopping here for years, and I’ve passed by the restaurant many times but today I decided to give them a try. I ordered orange chicken and pork, and to my surprise it was really good. They give quite a lot of food for the price and the people who run the place are very nice!

Tried this place inside of Food4Less since it had decent reviews so I went in with moderate expectations, but I was very disappointed. The orange chicken was incredibly dry, the chow mien was overly oily, and the fries rice seemed like it had been fried and refried several times over. The staff was friendly so I’m bummed I had to write a bad review. If you feel like«Asian» food, stick to the legit hole-in-the-wall places or even Panda Express.

+I was passing by and remembered my friend said there was a Chinese fast food place in here. She said they had the best Orange Chicken she’s ever had. +So, I had to try it. +It was okay. More like chunks of white meat with a thin coating on it. I prefer a more crunchy coat. +Cheap prices and decent portions.

Pretty darn good for being located in Food4Less. They seem to specialize in Spicy dishes which warms my heart! Great customer service and quick to load you up with samples. They stuff the containers and you will not be able to eat all that is given to you. Family special is a great value!

This is my go to spot for cheap tasty chinese food. The staff are always kind & generous with the portions that it is enough for 2 meals. My favorites are the spicy fish & orange chicken. The kung pao chicken is too spicy for my taste, but my boyfriend says it isn’t spicy at all. Anyways, great value. Great food. Good service. Yum yum yum. They do accept credit cards but they will inform you that it is a service charge for the credit card before sliding the card. But why do you need to charge it when the prices are so low?

I walk by Wok Express all the time and never gave it any thought. It wasn’t until I was on Unilocal and found this place. The food is really good, especially the orange chicken. I’ve tried many times before and the quality is alway good. The workers there are always super nice. They give generous portions. however there isn’t always a big selection of food. Overall, good food, good people. will come back again :)

I never would’ve noticed this place until my friend told me she worked there XD it was to my surprise cause i use to live around this area too: P Food: its pretty darn great for a chinese restaurant. I gotta say everything there that they served was excellent to my taste :) to me i cant eat and handle spicy food so i brought along my friend and well he said the spicy food that they serve was god damn good: D in general its just typical chinese food items that you would get at any other chinese restaraunt but with their own kick to it. Service: IT“S THEBEST: D no rushing what so ever. always asking if you want anything else with it etc … oh and one of the worker/employee their is pretty darn cute: D every time i come i have to see her and i have to have her take my order :) i try to hit on her every time even though we are already dating: D hahaha *wink wink* *nudge nudge* ;) Location: honestly if it weren’t for my friend i would have never notice the food for less and the chinese fast food inside of it. other than that i like it. i mean and eatery inside a supermarket, i gotta say that that’s very convenient: D

This place has the absolute BEST sesame chicken I’ve ever tasted. I’ve tried to find something similar at other Chinese«fast food» joints, and have not succeeded. Whatever sauce they use on this dish … it’s heavenly(ginger & honey, it tastes like) and I have great memories of heading here as a kid living in Orange County. This place has been here well over ten years, and going strong(I was so glad they stayed, even after the store changed names a thousand times and was remodeled). They give you enough for two meals and it has always been very fresh. I live thirteen miles away now, in Long Beach, but will still come back here when I’m in the area for that sesame chicken. Located INSIDE the Food 4 Less — give it a try if you’re passing by!

Located inside the Food4Less Supermarket, this fast food Chinese place is not bad. It’s actually a pretty good bang for your buck. The portions are huge, and the food is ok. Today we ordered chow mein and egg foo young. The«gravy» for the egg foo young was the sauce of the broccoli beef. I found that amusing, but hey, it tasted great together. Though, the chow mein this time around seemed a little too peppery for my taste. You can’t go wrong with this place if you’re looking for a cheap Chinese food fix. Combos come with chow mein and fried rice. One entrée = $ 3.99, Two entrees = $ 4.99, and three entrees = $ 5.99. And they have a heavy hand when it comes to serving, so one combo can feed 2 – 3 people, depending on your appetites.
