Seafood Palace

This was a very good venue. I had my wedding on 11÷7÷15. The size and the parking of the venue was excellent. I worked with Anna Evento’s, she is not the owner but she is someone that coordinates the events at that venue. I give the venue 4 STARS out of 5 STARS but I will give Anna 2 STARS out of 5 STARS just because a lot of things were over looked on our contract. The contract wasn’t detailed enough. We didn’t get the services we expected. There was too many things that could have been avoided with communication.
Our contract said soda, fruit and chocolate fountain for 180 guest and that didn’t happen. My guests were sent to other tables looking for left soda. Fruit was only cut for less then 50 guests and she didn’t bring anymore out. The chocolate fountain she did her own by putting chocolate on like 20 sticks with marshmallows and that was the only thing left on table personally by Anna.
Overall the decorating was very nice and everything matched with my wedding theme.

I came to this restaurant many times before and I also attended a wedding reception here. Horrible food at wedding reception, definitely not on par with their competitor restaurants in Orange County. During my visits for lunch specials here, the owner’s son appeared sneaky, shady, and anal while weighing our lobsters and calculating our bills. There was something seriously wrong with that guy and all of us could NOT feel at ease while eating there. When I asked to pick our lobsters, he brought one out and pretended to come in to weigh it and appeared to put it back to the tank again. We all felt that he cheated us with ours lobsters and our bill was more expensive that it was supposed to be. After several bad experiences here, my family and I vouched to never come back to this place.

I’ve been eating at this place for about 15 years, it’s always consistent, and if you like seafood, they give you huge portions. Kung pao fish filet is my favotire.

Newly remodeled, I threw my 30^th birthday there with 250 guests. Food was amazing, service was great & everyone had a blast. I heard they just opened a newer, larger Seafood Palace on Westminster & Goldenwest, but I haven’t been there yet. This location is really good though… I come here on a pretty regular basis & the prices are more than reasonable for a sit down restaurant. House special lobster & honey walnut shrimp are 2 must-​haves.

First of all, I’m not a big fan of Chinese fast food. I prefer sit down made to order Chinese food. I had a party catered there. I had 120 guests and they were all accommodated. I ordered the 7 course dinner for every table. There was the could cut platter (I love jelly fish tentacles!), soup (I forget which kind, but it was delicious), peking duck (fantastic), jumbo scallops (cooked perfect, I hate when scallops are under or over cooked), crab (I love the garlic butter stir fry flavor), jumbo prawn noodles in lobster sauce (a little greasy, but good), last and the best, baby clams (black bean garlic sauce, delectable!)
Besides good food ‚
–The food came out prompt for all the tables.
–Everyone was satisfied with the food.
–Even though it’s catered food of large portions, you couldn’t tell it was catered, mass prepared food.
–They don’t skimp on seafood here, when they say jumbo shrimp and scallops, they mean it!
–They customize the menu items to accommodate budget
I highly recommend it for large parties, they really know what they’re doing.

Worst chinese experience of my life. I’m not a chinese food expert by a long shot and would never try to be one, but, I have to say when you pour soup… then take it back to the kitchen and it comes back the same tasteless sludge… wtf?!
Then the lobster comes out… then they pick it up because they forgot to put the noodles under it… wtf?! it was pretty tasty, but cardboard would taste good with grease and MSG.
Next the house special beef or whatever tasteless gray looking stuff I had the courage to put in my mouth was just as it looked.
Our table had to ask for hot tea! We’re in a recession, yes, and I like to conserve as much as anyone but let’s draw the line somewhere. What’s next? I’ll have to get my fortune cookie out of a gumball style machine next to the 25 cent fake tattoos? Here’s the kicker too… this guy brings the tea in a regular glass… scalding hot tea in a soda glass with a napkin around it. I don’t know which was more dangerous… the lava cup or the potential of catching the pink eye that he clearly had.
This was a disaster area… i’m not even going to comment on cleanliness or anything else… sad how a good place can turn so bad.

Came here for my friend’s celebration dinner. The place is dirty, the area is very ghetto and the parking lot is unsafe and not well lit. My friend found dead flies in her fried rice. The food is mediocre. To top it off, I came out to my car after dinner and found it broken into. My window was bashed in and things stolen out of my car. Asked the employees if they saw or heard anything, they said no. There were no surveillance cameras outside and the parking lot had no lighting whatsoever. I called the police and was told that they get a high volume of calls everyday of vehicle break-​ins and crime in this area, to the point that they are not going to respond to calls about vehicle break-​ins anymore. The officer told me that the motels next to this restaurant house drug addicts, homeless people and prostitutes so most likely it was someone in the area going from car to car. I will never come here again due to the food just being ok with flies in it and the break-​in. If you guys go here, park in the front, lock your doors, watch your back and watch out for bugs in the food.

I came to eat here with my uncle, dad, and some other family members today and had a feast. We ordered some soup (had egg whites and bits of ground beef in it), shrimp fried rice, lobster with egg noodles, a veggie stirfry (bok choy, baby corn, tofu, mushrooms), and peking duck with hoisin sauce.
My favorite item by far was the soup. It was really rich in flavor and I swear I didn’t taste any MSG in there. The mix of egg whites and seasoned bits of ground beef went really well together – the texture was very similar to shark fin soup. The shrimp fried rice was okay but was on the greasy side and tasted a little too fishy for me, but I ate it anyway because I basically eat anything. The peking duck was also very good because the skin was crispy and there was a good amount of meat… put this in the white steamed buns they give you and dip it in hoisin sauce and you’re set! And finally, the lobster was also another favorite of mine here. They didn’t go cheap on us… we got some quality lobster. I’ve been to places where i’ll break the shell and barely get anything out of it, but I got huge chunks from pretty much every piece that I had. It was also really flavorful and came with stir fried egg noodles, which were on the greasy side for me.
The service was also excellent as they continuously made sure that we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend this spot. I can’t talk much about the prices because I never saw the menu and didn’t pay for any of the meal, but I’m assuming it’s reasonable since it was pretty crowded when I came here.

I loved this place since i was a kid. the owner used to know me, until i ditched the glasses and apparently don’t look Vietnamese anymore. i come here for lunch with my aunt and siblings or night with my parents, or we order takeout. its awesome. i love the food. it ALWAYS tastes good. the only problem is the parking. but seriously, i can WALK there from home.
I’ve been eating here for YEARS and will always come back.

Recommended. Went here for a relative’s wedding banquet once.
