This place has changed owners several times and now it’s own by a korean family. The appearance is very unsettling and obviously not taken care. With the empty parking lot and no signs of being open, you would would think this place is abandoned. I had the intention of eating there but decided to take it together when I got there. I ordered the spare rib plate. Even though I was the only person there, I didn’t get my food until 18 minutes later. When I got home and opened the box, I noticed that they only gave me 2 pieces or the short ribs and added some other filler meat to fill the box. Very disappointed. Also, their macaroni salad is a mix of macaroni salad and potatoe salad which I did not care for in least and didn’t even finish it. I am honestly surprised this place us still in business.

Tasty food, great prices, and awesome service here! This place was recommended by a fellow Unilocaler and I’m very glad I checked it out. We went around 8pm and lucked out on that timing since they close at 9. Almost missed the place since the restaurant sign is not well lit up. We ordered the beef and chicken plate. I totally preferred the beef and it was full of so much flavor. They also give you a side of spicy teriyaki which added extra yummy sweet and spiciness to the plate. Oh man I could not get enough of this place!

Best Teriyaki in town by far. Always fresh and healthy. They also offer white meat, steam veggies, and brown rice for us health freaks.

If you are ever in the mood for cheap AUTHENTIC Hawaiian cuisine you must stop by this place. From the looks on the outside, this restaurant looks like a small roadside cottage house overrun with vines and plants. However, the owners somewhat replicates the look in Hawaii where most homes are symbiotic with the nature surrounding. The food is delicious and my take is usually from the menu and their lau lau. The food is immensely affordable and one can get easily filled with $ 5 – 6. More importantly is the authenticity. I ordered the kalua pork and lau lau combo. Hawaiian orders would usually be very expensive but here it was pretty well priced and was much better than any kalua pork or lau lau I’ve had in the mainland. 5 stars for the food but –1 for the dirty décor.

I tried their Spam musubi and Kalua pork dish and they tasted really good, just like back in Hawaii. Much better than L&L, I have to say. I am looking forward to try their Saimin dish next time. Aloha!

Passed by this place and wanted to try it since it looked interesting. The place was empty when we walked in. It’s a small place located in what seems to be a quiet area. The place has an outdoor dining area enclosed by plants and trellis’ and Christmas lights giving it an outdoor garden setting. The menu was no different from most Hawaiian BBQ places. The prices seemed to be $ 1 — $ 2 cheaper. They also serve blended smoothies and drinks with boba pearls. We ordered black tea boba, 2 passion fruit guava drinks, kalbi ribs combo, chicken and beef combo, 2 chicken sticks combo, and spam musubi. Boba drink and passion fruit guava in a can drink were good. Spam musubi was a disappointment. At first, I was hesitant to get it since it was more expensive than most places — $ 1.99 for the equivalent of one spam musubi at L&L, Q&Q, and/or Ono’s; at these places you get two for $ 3 something. Also, the spam musubi did not taste as good and it had too much rice. The combos were good, but the sauces were too salty which made the meal salty too. The spicy sauce was pretty good. The 2 chicken sticks and rice deal is pretty good — it’s $ 2.99 and it tastes pretty decent. The only problem in my book was the salty sauce. Super affordable, good food(with the exception of the sauces), and a relaxed ambiance gives it a 4 stars in my book!

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! It’s the best teriyaki you’ve ever had. I always tell my friends if it’s not the best teriyaki you’ve ever had ill let you punch me in the face. I’ve never been punched, the half and half tray is like 8 bucks but it’s soo worth it it’s a large quantity of food. They also have 4 sauces outside to choose from which are all fantastic when added on your food not that it needs it. It’s a small spot you eat outside in this little garden type patio. The owner keeps it nice there’s heat lamps for when it’s cold. And since there’s plans everywhere your under shade and just feel the fresh air. They owner who is the cashier is always very polite and brings you out your food. I haven’t tried anything else they’re but I wouldn’t doubt that it’s just as great and I would dare you to try it. This place deserves more then 5 stars just on how great the food is. Wish it was closer to home but the trip is worth making for me

I’ve been eating here since the owners original place in Torrance. I love the spicy chicken bowl. Way too much food to eat alone, you could share a large. Friendly owner and his wife. Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place is awesome!

Going to keep this nice and short. I stick with the Kahlua Pig platter every time I come here. The pulled pork is always so juicy and flavorful. For about $ 7, they give a nice generous portion that I can have leftovers for later. Sometimes I sucker myself into getting an order of Spam Misubi. Simple, yet satisfying!

I got the Spam Matsubi and Kahlua Pig bowl and was perfectly happy with my selections. The place is a little like a beach side shack serving food, but I believe this is the best way to eat island food. The guy(I am assuming owner) at the counter was nice and the food was quick. If you live or work in this area for the price I would recommend giving it a try.

My brother brought me to this gem and I was amazed. I had the Mega Combination plate of beef and chicken with some green onions and veggies: Can’t really complain, but more than that, I am ready to return here. The location is pretty cool, with a setup of an outdoor sit-down hawaiian feel, which was both a little creepy, due to the night time, but still really cool. I truly suggest this place to those looking for something other than the typical L&L!

Inertia This A-frame reminds me of a $ 49,000 cabin in Arrowbear. It has been there for years and I have eaten there many years ago. I gave it go as the cornerstone of my 2014 «teriyaki bowl tour.» I ordered the chicken/beef combo plate and opted for macaroni salad instead of green. Mentioned below by Nick, «gamey» is the only word that describes the elastic chicken. The beef stringy. The outside seating area is actually pretty cozy with pillows on the seats. The condiments are outside in big gallon pump jugs. They take their Sriracha and cut it with about 70% water. That is pretty tacky. The worst of all was the macaroni salad. It was so dry like a overboiled egg yolk and murdered with salt. The place truly is one-star material but they were friendly and the patio comfortable. I won’t be back again as it was truly a sad experience. I am afraid this place is lost in some time warp; hangin’ on by a thread.

This is my go-to teriyaki joint — comfortable and satisfying. It’s just everything you need with no fuss. The chicken and beef are both very tender and delicious! The element that sets Aloha Teriyaki apart from other teriyaki places is the spicy sauce. It adds the perfect kick and reinvents teriyaki sauce. Also, I just recently discovered that they have a catering service. I’ll definitely be calling Aloha Teriyaki for any upcoming event!

A Little Piece of the Islands… that Caters! I came here based on the reviews of Chris D. and Ema S. I think both of their reviews make sense. This is a typical place you would find in Hawaii. Not the Brady Bunch Hawaii, but the real one. The chicken I ordered was salty and very similar to Hawaii, covered with extra sweet Teriyaki sauce. I have never been fond of Teriyaki chicken. What surprised me was the macaroni salad. It was even filled with veggies. This is the type of place that will use food until it is gone. The parking lot was empty. The building is an older one that is surrounded by an outside area filled with tropical plants. I have to say that the food for me was 3 stars but I am adding an extra star for nostalgia. I sat, eating with my date, and totally could have pictured myself at a place in Hawaii. The noise from the outside traffic, that you couldn’t see, actually reminded me of sitting on the patio at Ocean’s on alo moana on Oahu. Just substitute beach for alo moana. ~Catering This place is ideal for catering. If the food is made fresh, I am sure it is even tastier. They have a deal that averages 6.50 per person. I have an upcoming party in November and am seriously considering using this place. A truly unique place that brought back some memories. 4 stars and 5 stars to Ema and Chris! PS, While I was there, Stanton Police also ordered food. Super beef Bowl with Mix Sauce. That must be something good?
