I purchased a Jotul stove from Nordic. I have had the stove for 5 years now and it has worked perfectly. I recently had a question about the stove and the people at Nordic really took the time to help me out! The stove delivers everything I was promised and Nordic has been great at supporting the product after the sale. It is a very nice place to do business with.

Hi Aly — If you truly hated to see a customer unhappy and inconvenienced then you would contact them and come up with a solution. I asked for a solution which you chose to ignore and didn’t even have the courtesy of responding to. So thank you for letting others know you did nothing. It’s easy to say it won’t happen again but your inaction tells a different story. Thanks for re-confirming that!

I want to be their customer but for some reason they(Martha and Scott) keep leaving me out. I needed to get a fireplace insert. I choose them because of the 4 star rating. Visited their site. Filled out the«Fireplace Measuring Form» with all the info, plus took pictures of my fireplace, as they recommended. I was ready to purchase. I met with Scott, who seemed knowledgeable, provided me with some options and asked me to take some more pictures of my chimney. I took the extra pictures, sent email back asking for quote. I received nothing so far. I called to find out why. I spoke to Martha — an «irritably pleasant» woman, who seems to be handling God knows who many things at any given moment. I was trying to explain to her the situation when I was interrupted with«Is this a quick question?» and«when the doors are closed, I’ll look up your information» … without actually asking me for anything identifiable. There seems to be no one else who provides that kind of service: fire place inserts installation. @Nordic, if you are reading this. I want to be your customer. I’ve spoken to Scott on a number of occasions. I don’t understand why you keep dropping the ball when it comes to me? UPDATE: @Nordic: Thanks for the response. Look into Yankee Doodle in Milford, and the way the operate. Simple, clean and fast. I spent over $ 5K for what I wanted. Got the fireplace insert installed within 45 days from purchase. Your shop is just bloated with products and services that you don’t seem to be able to handle. not recommending you to any one.
