Incredibly RUDE Customer Service!
Truly, this outfit doesn’t deserve even ONE star. And they have a very well-​deserved «F» rating with the BBB, which you can read, right here:
I had some legitimate concerns so I called for more information and was treated so rudely by their «customer service» representative, that I decided to buy a Remington®™ Shaver, instead, and did!
I will NEVER contact this company ever again, and if someone offers me one of their products as a «gift,» I’ll politely refuse it.
It’s not even an American company anyway, so the heck with them.

Very unhappy with Philips. I’ve spent 2 days and 4 phones calls trying to repair a defective GoGear Vibe 8 GB MP3 player. I have installed, re installed, uninstalled, and now cannot re install the Songbird software and driver. All to try and reset a defective MP3 player that is back to the white screen that started the whole process rolling. The GoGear Vibe 8GB MP3 player is OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE; the Consumer Lifestyle Tech Support SAID SO!!! Yet I cannot get a replacement because it’s out of warranty by a month or so and I can’t find the receipt. It has valid model and serial number so it is a bona fide Philips product. I have a couple of other Philips and Sonicare products but I don’t plan on purchasing anything else from these companies.

The customer service department for Philips Lighting is ATROCIOUS. I purchased a Phillips Wake-​up Light on October 2 and received the product on October 5. By Friday October 9 the product stopped working, and the same day I contacted customer service to report the defective product. I was told that if I emailed
I would receive a pre-​paid shipping label. My original email was sent at 9:48EST.
The label did not arrive until Monday October 12, and I brought the package to UPS the very same day. For some reason the Stamford location did not receive the package until October 19. I suspect the pre-​paid postage was the slowest and cheapest postage they could get and find that kind of shipping delay UNACCEPTABLE. I have had packages mailed from other countries that took less time to arrive.
On October 20 I called asking what had happened to my exchange and was told the replacement would be shipped the same day. I asked for a tracking number. No tracking number was provided to me via email and when I called the next day, October 21, I was told the order had not been placed. I was promised a tracking order again.
No tracking order was ever emailed to me. I called AGAIN on October 26 and was told I would have to wait for a phone call about the tracking number. Ida left me a voicemail with the tracking number at 5:28EST that day.
Today is October 28 and it seems that the package was incorrectly addressed and has not been delivered to my apartment. I provided my apartment number TWICE in my orginial email and find this mistake ABSURD. Furthermore, when I called today to question the delivery failure, Ida (whom I’ve spoken to EVERY time) pretended she did not remember ever talking to me, said she would investigate the problem and have a manager call me back. That was at 3PM EST. At 5:16PM I STILL had not received a call and called again. This time my call was never attended. I waited on hold for 14 minutes and 22 seconds. As soon as the clock struck 5:30EST my call was ended.
This is completely unacceptable treatment of customers.
I have now waited TWENTY DAYS for my exchange and received little to no help from Ida or anyone at the Philips call center. Their hours are ridiculous, from 8:30 — 5:30 EST; in fact, most of the other customer service departments are open until 11PM! The email link on the site to their customer service department doesn’t work, conveniently enough. Every time I have called I’ve had to wait at least 5 minutes to speak to someone, but today’s 14 minute wait was disgusting.
Epic FAIL for Philips.
