Nice Deli. Ordered my favored Roast Beef wedge. Sandwich was correctly prepared quickly with fresh roll, crisp lettuce, tomato and onion, liberal sweet mayonaise and nicely pink roast beef deli meat. The roast beef portion was a bit light, far from the overstuffed sandwich I crave with thin sliced rare-ish Boars Head style. However, high quality and a decent value and friendly cashier and kitchen staff made it a pleasant visit and lunch.

The family owned Italian deli of my dreams! Their warmth as a group is absolutely infectious and it’s a joy to visit them! Their food is incredible too. I find myself there twice a week at least!

Wicked good!!! Stop on route to Pennsylvania for Christmas. Great choice(thanks to Unilocal). The store has atmosphere galore! Packed to the gills with all things Italian. We had the roast beef deluxe, honey gold turkey, and a lentil soup. Best lentil soup I ever had!!! Shared an antipasto that was nice and fresh! Glad we stopped post lunch hour rush as parking lot was on the small side.

For the area, this is a good market. A bit limited in choices, they do supply some items I can’t get, even in a Natural Market. Farro grain is one item. Overall, I keep coming back for good service, Italian staples and their bread.

Love this place. Their chicken scarparello is perfect. Great sandwiches, fresh produce, extremely nice people who make you feel at home. Like a trip to Arthur Avenue here in Stamford. Think I’ll stop by today.

Fusaro’s is an adorable little italian market off of High Street. They make made-to-order breakfast and lunch sandwiches, which are always fresh and delicious, as well as priced well. The little market is great also, offering authentic italian shopping options. There is no seating — definitely a good option for a quick sandwich to go!

Sandwiches, sandwiches, sandwiches. Fresh, tasty and HUGE sandwiches! I feel so happy we stumbled upon this place and got a taste of their offerings. What a treat! Fusaro’s is owned and operated by a charming Italian family. Their sandwich menu is awesome, the market is well-stocked and they happen to make some of the most delicious antipasto salad I’ve ever had. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted with smiles and asked if I like antipasto by the family patriarch in his delightful accent. He said, «I just made it; it’s fresh — have a container!» so I did. And am SO glad I did. The turkey sandwich(I asked for the smoked turkey rather than the roasted & they happily complied) was simple and fantastic, as was the caprese sandwich. The shop is clean, orderly and jam-packed with food and drink items. What a little treasure — I just wish it hadn’t been a random stop on a long journey so I could visit them more often!

Amazing. It doesn’t get better. Best Italian meats, sandwiches and cheeses. The family all works there and treats everyone like family. You have to try their homemade pastas and authentic Italian meats along with Italian products. In love with this place.

This deli is the real deal. Italian is spoken, the mozzarella and ricotta are fresh, as is just about everything else. The homemade ravioli are next on my list to get. Highly recommended.

New to the Stamford area and this was one of my first stops after reading Unilocal reviews! Joe and his family welcomed me like I was a long lost daughter. I would give 10 stars if I could: service with a smile amazing espresso selection, selection, selection authentic Italian delicacies nothing but the best Boar’s Head meats they cater too! If you pass by this gem, stop by and prepare to be wowed!

Went for lunch. Nothing special to write about, yes it’s decent Italian market operated by a traditional family patriarch and his son. Do ask and stick to the daily fresh made stuff and you will be satisfied. Some of the chicken cutlets were old and dried out, makes me think the turnover is not that high. Also, check out A&S Fine Foods, further down High Road to compare tastes.

I was disappointed in my experience here. The clerk at the register(I got the impression she was the owner) gave me an attitude when I asked for coffee recommendations from her. Namely, she tried to sell me fine ground espresso for a standard electronic coffee brewer and when I objected that fine ground doesn’t brew well in my machine as the grinds come right through the filter she gave me an attitude and tried to push her pricey product anyways. Once I made my selections I noticed she charged me one dollar above their sticker price for my coffee AND over charged me for my hot grinder which was advertised outside the market as being on special today. Since she had already given me a hard time I just paid and left. However, I left frustrated and felt robbed. I should have just walked out and said«no thanks» but after having invested my time in shopping there and getting hungry for lunch I just paid for my goods. I will not be returning.

Fusaro’s is my favorite deli! Giuseppe and his family seem like they are of an old-school mentality that is not very prevalent in our society today but definitely should be. They truly care for their customers and are very passionate about carrying only the best Italian products and homemade foods in their store. Their wedges are absolutely humongous — trust me, you’ll wish you’d split it with someone. Overall a great place.

Old school Italian deli like I used to go with my grandfather in New Jersey. My go to place for chicken parm, meatball wedge, or the best thing on the menu — pepper and egg sandwich. Even my wife, who hates old style Italian, loves the pepper and egg. Nice people, nice place — there should be more of these types in town.

My go-to deli in Stamford. Solid sandwiches and some basic groceries. I feel that most customers are regulars and the owners are friendly.

I used to go to this place religiously. It was probably about 10 years ago though. Things haven’t changed much. I think its even the same guy making the sandwiches. It’s an old school Italian deli with exactly what you would expect, solid sandwiches, a little bit of produce and a good amount of Italian pantry products, all jammed into a really small space. Stop in for an egg and cheese, they don’t disappoint and the price is good.
