Very solid market. They carry a lot of the same items as Whole Foods. The fruits and veggie section could be a little bigger for my liking.

Mrs. Green’s is one of my favorite options outside of Whole Foods and Trader Joes for organic items. It’s a bit expensive but there are some items that I can’t find anywhere else– like the cosmic cookies. Mrs. Greens is a treasure for vegans, vegetarians and anyone devoted to a healthy and/or holistic lifestyle. Do yourself a favor and get a Mrs. Green card– for every dollar you spend you get a point and after 100 pts you can save money on your purchase. If you’re here often it can come in handy!

Came back today to pick up baby formula. Deli counter employees were smiling, very pleasant and got my order right. The deli meal and veggie meal were worth it, food tastes nyummy. Will be returning again.

I love this market! People are always friendly and helpful, and the selection is spectacular! I would love to see them carry a few more low-sugar or sugar free items, but that’s really my only criticism. It’s truly a delightful store!

This store is probably the best in the chain. If you do not know what you are looking for you can drive right by it. The chain as a whole is overpriced. but they have the stuff that no other store has. What makes this store good is that the people who work here are pleasant and down to earth. No attitudes and they have the stuff tha the other Mrs Greens do not keep in stock.

I love this store! Their produce is always fresh and organic. They have a vast selection of vegetarian, vegan, macro, and gluten free items and prepared food(my favorite). A great variety of nutritional supplements too. It’s much smaller than Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s so it’s never over crowded, much more personable. The same staff have been there awhile and are friendly and helpful. They even have a discount card that lets you save 10% every first Thursday of the month. I highly recommend this place.

Just a couple of months ago when I was buying the vast majority of my meals here, I would probably have given Mrs. Green’s 4 stars, 5 for fresh food, soups and baked goods and 4 stars for fresh produce and high prices in the rest of the store. What is happening?! They now are adding sugar to already delicious salads and soups! I would be the first to change this rating to 5 stars if you return from your wayward path. Please come back!

Holy moly! I had no idea that I was moving a few blocks away from one of the best natural food stores I have been in. The amount of gluten free food at Mrs. Green’s is astounding and makes me very happy! They even have prepared food in the back that is gluten free — it doesn’t get better than this folks. I spied a homemade gf cake in the pastry case too. Overall I was really pleased with the offerings at Mrs. Green’s. I can get my organic lactose free milk and gluten free goodies galore and now I don’t miss NYC!

This Westchester-based chain grocery store has products you can’t find anywhere else — if you’re an eco-conscious consumer willing to shell out the extra cash. Their selection of all-natural household cleaners, bath and body products, and snacks is unparalleled, but a lot of the packaged goods and produce you could probably find for cheaper at Trader Joe’s(My favorite organic food bars were $ 3 there as opposed to $ 2 at TJ’s). The part that really makes Mrs. Green’s stand out is the deli area at the back, which serves delicious smoothies, salads, home-made veggie burgers, sandwiches and wraps(ready-made and to-order), and soups, to eat there or to go. If you’re grabbing a quick lunch, it’s better to eat there(rather than, say, in your car), because the condiment table includes everything from crushed garlic to ginger to organic ketchup, which some things are rather flavorless without. Prices are pretty reasonable considering that all the ingredients are fresh and(I think?) organic. The salads are out of this world: I recommend the butter bean salad and the chickpea bulghur salad, always flavorful because they’re made with fresh herbs. They also have specifically macrobiotic and South Beach-friendly entrees. The placards are helpful because they list all of the ingredients. My main complaint is that the counter staff never seem to know what they’re doing, and if there are two there and one of them does, the other one will inevitably mess things up. They made my friend the wrong smoothie the last time we were there, and they didn’t offer a bun with my Sunny Harvest burger until I specifically asked for it, even though it was obvious we were eating there. Don’t get your salads heated up: they never actually get them fully warm. Also, aside from a few staples, the selection in the case is never the same twice, so don’t count on your favorite dish being there — count on trying something new.
