Anthony’s Deli

This place was the best, but I have to agree with James and Chris that since the ownership/​management change this place doesn’t work anymore. The orders come out wrong, they take a long time and the sandwiches just aren’t as fresh or taste as good. The people behind the counter are super-​nice, they just aren’t good at being a deli. Drove by over the weekend and it looks like they are closing the Deli and reopening with some kind of Latin food.

Beware new ownership, this deli is not the same. Ordered a simple bacon egg and cheese with home fries, the eggs were over-​cooked and dry and they forgot the salt/​pepper/​ketchup. Sadly I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Under new management and my god I wish I could rate it under 1 star. Took 30 minutes to make a chicken park, didn’t slice the sandwich and messed up the order for my friend. The sandwich had almost nothing on it and tasted awful. I miss the old Anthony’s already. Will not be coming back and neither should anyone else looking for good food.

Five stars is completely accurate! Friendly faces, fast service, delicious sandwiches at great prices for the size and quality. Best wedge I have Had since moving to Connecticut. Thanks guys!

Best deli in Stamford! Fresh, high-​quality ingredients and very fast for pick-​up orders. I recommend the Chicken Italiano Cutlet sandwich and the omelets. Haven’t tried the burgers but the choices sound amazing. (About $ 4.50 for 3-​egg omelet with great home fries and toast and $ 8 for an enormous wedge — prices are insanely reasonable.)
I don’t meant to bash anyone — but I had a Chicken Cutlet sandwich from Rinaldi’s in Stamford and it was so bad, I had to throw it away. The chicken was so old and rubbery, I was actually angry I had driven away and couldn’t get my money back.
I’ll be sticking with Anthony’s.

Anthonys deli is hands down the best deli in the neighborhood. The Splash and first stop sandwich are a must try. Also the French vanilla coffee is great. They have a great menu. The tables outside are great to have lunch in the summer.

Easily the best place in Stamford to get subs. Great staff and very helpful and quick.

Great food Anything and everything you get here is amazing and the sandwiches are huge. The prices wont hurt you but get here at the wrong time theres a wait but so worth it. Cant go wrong here Breakfast lunch or catering you will enjoy it all

Stopped here for lunch after working in the rain. Guys inside were nice, food was hot. I grabbed a egg plant park, honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.
Will be coming back next time I’m in the SpringDale area.

NO stars because I was really surprised by the terrible service I just received. I placed an order for a grilled chicken salad and a wrap and stuffed peppers which is on the menu and they said they don’t do stuffed peppers. They wouldn’t deliver to my house which is less than a half mile away because they only deliver to businesses. I told them if they deliver I would give them a lot of business because I order out a lot. The man asked me to pick it up I said no and he hung up on me. I’m sure their food isn’t that great anyway. #TeamPinehillDeli.

SpringDale sandwich was very tasty. Fast friendly service even during lunch rush. A bit heavy on the dressing but will definitely be back for more!

We order from this place for delivery at least 1 or 2 times a week. They are always willing to handle our difficult orders and smallest details. They also always honor any mishaps like forgetting thing or us calling back to add to order. Love it here. plus the tuna and salads are the bomb! Love all of us at Noble Salon

This place is everything you want in a deli. With only a few deli’s in Stamford that are even worth noting, this little gem is sure to give you your money’s worth. Their menu includes all the Fairfield County deli classics as well as some signature sangy’s that will make your decision a difficult one. Although you can’t really miss, get something that includes a chicken cutlet — they are on point here. The staff is more than friendly and clearly passionate about the art of creating a delicious sandwich.
The one thing I will say is if you get a sandwich to go, sometimes the bottom of it can be soggy and greasy depending on what you get. It can be a messy experience, but you will never be disappointed with the flavor. Pasta salad and rice pudding are also very good if a sandwich isn’t enough for you.
There’s a good vibe in this place and definitely worth stopping by if you’re ever in the Springdale neighborhood. Right across from the train station, but it’s not open of Sunday’s so if you need your fix, don’t wait till the end of the weekend.

Wow!!! Great food. Good prices. Nice portions. This is the hungry persons lunch spot!!! The hot food is the bomb. You can pick and choose and make any plate combination you want. Me. I go for a plate of «Awesomeness» I get all of it in one plate. Oh oh oh my!!!

Awesome. They have a ton of great sounding sandwich combinations — very hard to choose! I said to make me whatever they thought was good since I couldn’t choose — I got a buffalo chicken cutlet with ranch lettuce tomato on a wedge which was perfect. Add some rice pudding and potato salad and I couldn’t be happier.

Stopped in for a sandwich at Anthony’s for lunch yesterday for the first time. I noticed they were open for the past month or so (replacing my old lunch standbye deli, Vigilantes) and was eager to stop in. I certainly hope this has more lasting power than the previous deli b/​c the sandwich was delicious! Perfect amount of chicken and fresh mozzarella. Great tasting and great, quick service (albeit it was after the lunch rush time). Very large menu to choose from. I will definately be back!

Came to Anthony’s deli for lunch yesterday. On my way back today. If your looking for the best food in the city, state, world, look no further.
The bruin is like a wedge of heaven.
Don’t think twice. Stop there for breakfast and get back for lunch.
